Granted, a trip to Bellevoir is not…read moreexactly the ritziest experience - it's in a strip mall that's seen better days, and the facility itself is not all that nice. However, the technicians here are all super-detail oriented and the facials are extremely effective. I bought the package with all the bells and whistles - the facial, the AHA honey derived acid mask, and the sonic treatment - every treatment takes over 2 hours, and includes the following: 1) a double-wash, 2) a highly detailed and excruciating extraction process, 3) AHA honey acid mask - also excruciatingly painful, 4) ice treatment, 5) back, neck and arm massage, 5) sonic massage treatment, 6) sulfur based mask, 7) final cleanse and acne treatment. The first part of the treatment is super-super painful- almost to the point where you just want to jump up and run out the door - but if you can stick through the pain, the second part is just bliss. I usually end up falling asleep and waking up and the end feeling fully refreshed. A few words of warning - the facials are fairly expensive, especially if you opt for all the bells and whistles - but it is worth it. Their products are fairly expensive as well, but it's hard to say no especially since they are pretty good at making you feel paranoid that you will end up all scarred and/or pimply if you don't buy and use them religiously. Finally, you will look scary for a day or so after your treatment, but once you heal, you will love how nice your skin is. I've had facials at Bliss, Burke Williams, and various resort-based spas, and nothing has been nearly as effective as this place.
