I came across Sugar Glow Haus IG page and decided to book an appointment for a Sugar Brazilian wax since I went on Yelp and saw the great reviews, I decided to book an appointment for Thursday at 6:15 but had to change it to Saturday at 12:45, I was running late when amber message me to let her know when I'll arrived, I was 4 minutes away when she messaged me saying I was over 15 minutes late and she needs to reschedule my appointment, I asked if she can schedule me for another time today and she said she was booked for the day but that I can schedule for another day which I was ok with it. But than she messaged me saying she needed to charge me 50% of the service I didn't get. The sugar Brazilian is $65 therefore she was charging me $32.50, She demanded I pay for half of the service, although I had Already communicated I was 4 min away. A deposit was never requested, I don't understand why I should pay half of a service "I DID NOT GET! Amber insisted on arguing with me on why I have to pay half of the service. I agreed to paying her and took it as my loss but before I could sent her the payment since I was driving back home since she canceled the appointment Amber had already requested the payment on Zelle, I received the notification from my bank. Truly unfortunate situation, Amber made it clear she doesn't need me as a client since she already has her cliental. I even suggested to her that maybe charging a deposit before the appointment makes more sense than charging me for half a service I never received. 10/30/2022 No need to lie, this is unprofessional and unfortunate. read more
