Charlie is very friendly, extremely professional, and always amazing! I got my first Brazilian here and have never went elsewhere because of the care she puts into her work. She's always been punctual and makes me feel comfortable during every visit (so don't be nervous if it's your first time!) It can be a bit hard to find if you enter the building through the Badillo entrance because you sorta have to go up three floors and down one to get back to the second floor on the right side as her studio. Located in the old Covina bank, it has an old western charm and can be a little creepy since the hallway might be dark upon entry because the lights power on by motion sensors. But just take a little time to read some of the framed artwork signs - they'll give you a good chuckle. read more

Charlie works out of a suite, so it's very private. i booked an appointment through an app called, style seat. the app was user friendly and easy to find her available appointments. you secure your appointment with a credit card and it gets charged after your appointment is done. it will ask you to confirm a tip using the same card on file or you can opt out and give cash. Charlie is sweet, professional and very knowledgeable! she made me feel comfortable the entire time. she explains what she will do before doing it which I find comforting....you just don't want anyone to start ripping you up down there without warning lol. she works fast which was great! I never felt like she was rushing to finish me up to get to the next client. she has the radio playing so if youre quiet and not chatting, you can listen to that. It's been 2 weeks and I'm still waiting for a call back. I'm a little embarrassed that I put so much effort into trying to get them to take my money. I believe in shopping local and supporting independent businesses. I can honestly say that I have purchased goods or services from 90% of the businesses in downtown Covina. My wife was excited to try this place and I was trying to buy her a gift for her birthday. It's very disappointing that this business fortune respond. I called 6 times and left 3 messages. I understand that they may have been in the middle of an appointment so I tried at various times during the day to see if I could catch them in between. It appears that they have an online appointment process that they may prefer but that should be more clear in the voicemail. If you don't want to interact with live calls, that is your decision but be transparent. I'll decide if I want to chase you down. I didn't purchase a service but the way a business interacts with clientele is part of their grade. This is no different than walking into a store and having a bad interaction that makes you walk out. I feel like I walked in with a smile and I was ignored.
