Two thumbs up from both of our kids! WONDERFUL SLIDES at this park!!! One is long and fast (at the top of a tall climbing structure)! The three other metal slides are fast too. There's a nice playground area, rock climbing walls, a long see-saw, swings, and paved trails to walk. Overall, an excellent park and my kids love going here. The only bad thing is that it is far from Diamond Bar. I wish there were more parks like this one in our area. There's plenty of street parking and the park is surrounded by houses. One more negative is that the bathrooms are locked, so hopefully a homeowner is at the park and can open them for you. Xie Xie! read more

This is a great neighborhood park. Come here for the huge slide. My little baby enjoyed the tot lot area and there is ample shade fabric to protect you from the sun. There is some street parking. read more

This is a neighborhood park surrounded by homes. There is a nice green belt area for picnics, dog walking, and fun. In the summer they host free concerts. There is a great turnout with food truck vendors as well. read more

We just moved to this community from Oakland a week and a half ago and I just can't get over how beautifully done all the playgrounds are, this one especially. My kids love the epic slide, and I appreciate the fancy Adirondack chairs for relaxing parents. It's like an alternate universe of supreme suburbia and I'm here for it. read more

Clean, spacious park in the heart of a residential area. The main attraction is the long tunnel slide which needs you to climb a tree house tower to get to the entrance. There is also a fun see saw that seats 4, Rock climbing walls, sand pit, slides and swings. The floor is foam. Street parking available for free right by the park. read more

The only downside to this park is that there aren't public restrooms (need an HOA key fob to get in). Otherwise, this park is amazing! Large green field to play around in, bbq grill area with large Adirondack chairs, mini Adirondack chairs for the kiddos, a fun seesaw, padded playground for all ages, crazy fun metal tall slides, rock climbing area, rope ladder, etc. My kids wouldn't leave and wanted to come back the next day. Ample street parking and very clean, new playground equipment. Plenty of shade and well maintained. Everything is centralized so your kids can't run away too easily and there's toddler as well as older kid swings. read more

I've been here twice now for their concerts on the green they offer in the summer. Nice clean park in the middle of a neighborhood. There is a little playground for the kids to play. Looks like a fun slide that I still haven't had a chance to try. ;) Big green grass area where you can enjoy the music. Overall, clean and nice. SYOY! read more

The illest park for groms ages 7-12 this side of the 133 toll ticket. Turf, foam, a 2 story slide, rock climbing walls, what more could one dad or young savages ask for?! We enjoy this Baker Ranch community classic any time we can. We even managed to slide over there during Dictator Newsom's Stay at Home ban, and got to enjoy the see-saw, slides and more. Bathrooms are locked so bring a bag if you plan on needing to use the potty. Plenty of space for the dogs to run and the kids to play make it a great day in Lake Forest. read more

Shade, there's lots of shade at this park. There are two play areas, one for bigs and one for littles. There are also swings, but they aren't shaded. You do not need a key for the toilet. read more

This is a really cool park. It's brand new and super clean. There are things for kids most ages including rock climbing, swings, several slides (including a really big slide), and a cool modern teeter totter. The ground is either the rubberized mats, artificial turf, or sand. No concerns of major injury if someone falls. There is a huge tarp over the play area, so there is plenty of shade. I'm hesitant to speak truthfully about this Park, because I don't want it getting popular and crowded. As it stands, it's not situated off of any major road, so unless you live in the community you don't really know it's there. But it's pretty amazing. The parks for the kids are second to none, the open space is ample, the hammocks are a nice touch, as are the bocce ball arena, and the bathrooms are clean and sanitary. I really hope these stay quaint and quiet, because right now it's downright charming. read more

Oh my gosh this little park is sooo much fun!! The kids enjoy to the fullest! The big metal slide is the highlight of them all! There's also a rock claiming wall but it get over crowded fast! But over fun for all ages read more

As you exit north of the park, the trail jumps the street next to Edisons PowerPlant and continues towards portola highway and towards whiting ranch or portola hills. Crossing over a few underpass and a few parks along the way. Its a gradual incline, that will meet up with mountain trails. Only thing missing would be the water stations or bathrooms... unfortunately, be prepared. Great thing, ever so often your have a picnic table and benches available along the way. This trailhead can be as short as a 3 to 4 mile round trip around the park, but the trail leading out can be definitely extended beyond 15 to 20 miles if your a cyclists- as the incline can be gradual until you meet up in the hills.

When our kids trip or fall, they don't get badly hurt and they for sure don't get splinters or wood chips stuck in their shoes. Behind the tables is a basketball court that you can easily see from the tables if in case you're worried about your kids running off to play. It's easy to keep an eye on them from there. Beyond what I've already mentioned, I don't know what else this park has to offer because it's as far as we have gone for play dates or birthdays parties at the park. When we arrived around 8:30 on a Saturday morning, the paid parking lot was already full. There are very few parking spaces overall in the paid $3 lot. We ended up as Ralph's customers that morning and found a couple of last-minute items that we needed before starting our hike. It was a nice and cool morning with a slight breeze, which was perfect to kick off our hike. We opted to take the easy trail, Borrego Canyon Trail. There is a lot of soft sand through out parts of the trail, similar to a beach like sensation for your walking pleasure. It also felt like a magical forest during some areas with trickling streams. We also experienced some parts full of various sized rocks. This is NOT a child- friendly trail for little ones. As we approached parts that were more desert like, we got closer to the red rocks. There was much anticipation to the end and the trail concludes with what feels like a small dead end as you gaze into the view of the towering red rocks. Going downhill was much quicker and fun. It was an easy trail with some sections that forced me to go slower as I didn't want to slip on some small rocks. There was so much positivity coming from other hikers and bicyclists. So many good mornings shared, it was contagious. Bicyclists are one-way so they are only coming from behind you and so many were thankful for us moving out of their way. I've never experienced such polite and friendly trail enthusiasts. I'd love to return to experience this beautiful trail again.

The path itself was paved for the first mile or so and then became dirt/sawdust. While the trail runs behind and below shopping centers and housing, you never really see much of the structures. We walked a good chunk of the trail to the Peace Obelisk and then turned around and went back to where we parked in a shopping center, which was approximately a 4-mile round trip. It was a good walk on a Saturday afternoon. There weren't a whole lot of people to be seen on our walk; a few families, dog walkers, a couple of joggers, a couple of bicyclists. The entire path is an easy walk and mostly flat. Again, there are several entrances to the trail and there are actually 2 separate parallel trails on either side of the creek. This is a great place to spend a little time in nature while still being in the middle of Mission Viejo.

The Oso Creek Trail is a classic "Yuppie Nature" trail: mostly paved or manicured paths, and…read morenothing too challenging or dangerous. Exactly the kind of "outdoor" experience my wife loves! But seriously, it's a wonderful place to stretch your legs right in the heart of Mission Viejo. The trail runs along both sides of Oso Creek, hence the name, and each side of the trail is a bit different. One side is paved and the other is dirt or bark covered, for a more "natural" feel. There are also some fun points of interest along the way, including a hedgerow maze, various bear statues, and a park adjacent to the Norman P. Murray Community & Senior Center. It's great for families with small kids or strollers to push, as well as solo joggers, dog walkers, or even bikers. It's long enough and stretches at least a couple miles to get some good exercise in. If you're in the area, it's well worth a visit to enjoy. Five stars!
