We ordered 4 meals, two kid's breakfast plates and two adult plates. The kids bacon was burnt to a crisp and the eggs were lacy from being fried on too high a heat. To be fair, the one adult meal was well prepared ( can't go wrong with a smashed avo) but my wife's meal of chilli crab linguini was awful. The meal had a sour aftertaste and funky herbs had been added that smelled like hemp. When my wife complained and requested another meal, the manager was really aggressive and defensive, saying that she personally ate that meal every day ( which I sincerely doubt as it is inedible). On top of that she pretty much called my wife and I liars about our experience of the dish! We don't generally complain, but our treatment by the manager was outrageously out of line. read more

Very relaxing watching the fire wall! java is a 4.2(1-5). I had the eggs bennie done with ham hock, I can reccomend these no problem. read more

Overall the quality was very good, (the food) The place itself was modern but we went on a Saturday and we were almost the only people there.. The only thing was that we found a tiny, tiny bug crawling on the table but that was ok :/ The staff is friendly so I would totally recommend to anyone who wants a night out ;) read more

A pleasant country cafe. Nice decor, friendly staff. It was very busy on Sunday at about 2pm when we arrived for a late lunch. I ordered the soup which was curried lentil and veg. It was pretty delicious and came with white bread toasted. Although the lentils were clearly out of a tin and the carrot was finely grated in the soup which was a bit odd. My companion ordered French toast. This turned out to be raisin bread toasted and covered with Icing sugar. No egg in sight. My companion wasn't impressed. Both did take quite a while to arrive. (About 25 mins) but like I said it was busy. read more

I dined here to treat myself to breakfast a year ago. Something I very rarely do. The food was just sensational. I now eat here on a weekly basis as i crave their food! Ive never been disappointed! Eggs benedict being my favourite.. brilliantly large seves of bacon and eggs friendly staff great coffee the freshest orange juice LOVE IT read more
