Convinient location, especially for duvallians. Good price for the service. I used this clinic even when I was living in Redmond. Dr. Weeks is very professional and all staff are kind and patient. One thing that I do not like (but understand) - I usually spend there more time than I plan to. They get a lot of clients as emergency appointment so the schedule moves. But it's good to know that my cats can get help exactly when they need it even if I didn't make an appointment for them in advance.

I cannot explain to you all of the reasons I bring my floofs here, but I can tell you that when I lived in west Seattle, and now in Everett, I still bring my monkey dogs to Duvall. Great team, fair pricing, and the care for the floofs, and their humans... All reasons I go so far for care. There are three vets within walking distance, yet I'll continue driving to Duvall and DVH for the excellent treatment of me and my freeloading pups.

They are efficient, helpful, and seem to really enjoy animals (and people). They are really good with our animals. We had just adopted 2 kittens, and took them in for a checkup, and then did a followup appointment. But here's what sets these folks apart from some of the other places we've used in the past. I called to set up a one-year appointment for April, since the cats would be one year old then. But then they asked me a few questions, and suggested that instead we should schedule the appointment for July, since that's when their annual shots would be due, and avoid paying for an extra appointment. Imagine! Doing what's best for us and the cats instead of just piling on unnecessary appointment so they can make some extra money. We've had a series of vets over the years for previous cats and dogs, and were never really happy with the service. SO glad we finally found a great vet.

After combing through countless reviews of Dr. Matt Slentz, we scheduled an appointment with him this morning for our puppy's (Leo) final puppy visit and vaccinations. Dr. Matt exceeded our expectations. He has wonderful bedside manner, is incredibly informative, and--just as other reviewers mentioned--remarkably generous with his time. He made sure all of our questions were answered and even covered general puppy FAQs we didn't know to ask. His delivery was straightforward and upfront, providing honest professional opinions without sugarcoating, which we truly appreciated. During the visit, our puppy had an accident in the exam room. Without hesitation, Dr. Matt immediately grabbed paper towels and cleaned it himself, without gloves, while the veterinary assistant stood by. That moment spoke volumes--demonstrating genuine care, humility, and a willingness to step in without concern for appearances. He also noted that hand nibbling (as distinct from biting) is consistent with normal puppy developmental behavior and allowed our puppy to nibble on him during the exam, which was reassuring to observe. It is evident that both Dr. Miller and Dr. Matt hold their veterinary oath in the highest regard. Knowing we can trust them brings immense peace of mind when it comes to our puppy's care. This practice should have been a five-star experience based on Dr. Miller, Dr. Matt, and the front desk staff alone. Unfortunately, a **detached, impersonal, and indifferent interaction with Madden--marked by a lack of empathy and engagement--**overshadowed what they truly deserved.

I was referred here back in 2012 from a previous customer of my own. I had a 2012 year old chocolate lab which had a vascular hemangeomic tumor that was in rapid growth. Dr Laura Quindt initially took me on as a client with Hershey and did "so right" by him.. At every turn, she implemented her care, empathy, concern and honest approach and opinions. I felt really blessed to have found SUCH a compassionate vet for my pup...as many can be "sellish" and feel like you're constantly getting sold on services. NEVER have I felt that way here...... Hershey passed in 2012 and in came Duke in 2019....right before COVID. I was in this place the first week that I had Duke, after he swallowed a rubber door-stop as I wrapped Christmas gifts. It was late at night and they were just about to close....yet they took Duke in and solved his blockage with a simple Ipecac and reasonable bill at Christmas time. Duke was only 8 weeks old, but he already got exposed to the vet, and they really eased his quirky personality. I truly believe that that day set the tone for him moving forward for his vet experiences. Dr Quindt retired, and in came Dr Mitchell....who was cut from the same cloth and Dr Quindt, so kind....so caring and so attentive. She continually looked out for duke and his continual Ear issues/infections. She gave a conservative approach with great home instructions and helped me during Covid with home care, to cut down on my expensive and frequent need for visits. A short year down the road, a new doc entered the picture for Duke...a young "kid" that I believe had just completed the Vet program at WSU. Right away, he blew me away with his introduction, soft-spoken = and genuine heart...it was SO apparent, his LOVE for animals.....and Duke immediately. He introduced himself as Dr Jason Adam and I was so ecstatic about him and the role I felt like he'd play in Duke's health. I truly left there blown away at what a "nice kid" he was and recall saying it to the girls at the front desk. They all agreed that they were so lucky to have him. As the last 2 yrs or so have gone by, Dr. Adam has continally impressed me with his kindness, poise, compassion, care, concern, attentiveness, details, time and just plain LOVE for Duke. it literally gives me goose-pimples and makes my lip quiver. Duke ABSOLUTELY LOVES going there and seeing Dr. Adam....in spite of his aching ears and distain for humans messing with them. Dr. Adam is so gentle and loving with Duke and literally tells me upon each visit, that this is why he does what he does....for pups like Duke...who is my "kid" and my life. Dr. Adam's approach is the best I've seen in my 24 years of being a lab momma......truly. He feels like family and I would never want my pups to see another.....so hope he retires here :) He was just promoted to Medical Director, so I'm hopeful that that is a longterm sign. :) You won't be sorry if you pay this place a visit. It is SO dear to my heart and Dr. Adam won't disappoint. He must have really great parents, because he's a gem. Truly THE BEST! Dorothy at the front desk has been there for years as well and is SUCH an asset!

There has also been a lot of staffing change, some of the really communicative techs who used to be there are no longer there and now they have techs who barely know how to communicate and keep you updated about the wait. I am not sure if it is an issue with the Vets getting overbooked, their system not timing how long a client is waiting, receptionists getting swamped with calls, or the Vet Techs not being properly trained on communication but I am debating on switching back to Banfield, which is over commercialized chain but at least they are communicative and prompt.
