Haven't been here in a few months and tried to give my phone number to the cashier for rewards. She kind of rudely said "we don't do that anymore". I said your sign is still up. She said you have to text that number. I read her the part of the sign that says very clearly give your number at checkout for rewards. She said we don't do that. At froyo places, I always get plain tart yogurt with fruit toppings and mochi. The California tart flavor here was slightly off... it was tangy but didn't quite taste like other plain tart froyo I have had. Limited fruit options and no mochi. Overall fine, if you like sweet soft serve flavors with more chocolate/cookie dough toppings. Would probably opt for some other ice cream options in town. read more

Oh emm gee! This place is absolutely my favorite spot in Rochester. I love frozen yogurt!:) I can't wait to bring my nieces and nephews here. It's nice and clean inside. Very spacious. Their seats are colored in green, red, and white. I love their variety of flavors. My favorite one is Red Velvet Cupcake. I like to put everything in my cup! Frozen yogurt and options were good. Service was not at all. We waited 5 min at the register before the employee saw we were there because she was talking on her phone in the back. She also was not dressed for a job whatsoever. She was wearing a very short crop top with high heel boots up to her knees. After she charged us, she then walked out of the building for 20 min while we ate. When we went to leave, we saw her walking from the McDonald's parking lot with her food. read more

The place seemed dirty around the toppings and the frozen yogurt was too icy, instead of creamy.

My wife and I came here on a whim. The yogurt and toppings were great and the price was reasonable. The store was clean and orderly. The reason I gave it 3 stars was because an 8-10 year old kid swiped his fingers across all the dispensed hanging yogurt and licked it off his hand. The kid easily got 5 free samples and contaminated the yogurt for the next people through the line. I don't think it would be fair to give less than 3 stars as this would be a problem with any dispense your own yogurt bar, but it's something I hadn't considered before I saw it. read more

I just had double lung transplant surgery and had the desire for frozen yogurt by my hotel. I do require handicap everything for the most part. As we pulled in, the owner with his black BMW blocked both handicap spots. My wife asked if he needed both spots. He said he was loading stuff and to park over there- farther from the store. Short Version: A decent choice for frozen yogurt if you're in Rochester since, well, it doesn't seem Rochester has many other options. However, it's not the best froyo place I've been to. Long Version: Came into town to meet up with someone, and froyo seemed like a good choice. There aren't too many froyo places in Rochester, so this was the one that we settled on. The parking lot is a bit of the mess. It's right near a busy shopping area, so the lot was full of cars - while the froyo place was pretty empty. I could definitely see it being a pain parking here on weekends or busy times with an event nearby, but it is a private (though crowded) lot, so at least it's off the street. The interior of this location is pretty neat. As you can see from photos, it's nice and bright with clear signs all over claiming the benefits of froyo. Lots of different types of seating to take advantage of including the standard bar stools, couches, and tables of froyo places. Pretty clean building including clean single-person male/female restrooms. Looks like a nice, new modern type of building. A bunch of Adirondack outdoor chairs outside their establishment for nicer weather too. Each one of the flavors is marked with low/no-fat, and they have a listing of the flavors before you actually get in line, so you can stand out of line and look. But no one does that. But it's a nice touch. The froyo machines are surprisingly hard to operate. I've never dealt with machines that required nearly so much pressure to get any froyo to come out. My companion actually thought that the machines were out of order, and I thought I was going to break one just trying to get the yogurt out. Topping choices were pretty decent. They had a lot of the smaller toppings in the upright canisters that require a turn of the handle to get out what you want (like sprinkles). The "scoopable" toppings bar had unique toppings such as whole Twix fun-size bars. Paying was simple, and the staff were efficient. I didn't feel particularly welcomed, but the staff wasn't rude either. Make sure to sign up for their free membership card to earn points back. I'm not 100%, but I think $50 spent on their froyo gets you a $5 reward to use. Since the card is free, if you plan on going to any CherryBerry locations, it's worth signing up. Decent location. I wasn't in love with the flavors, and the machines annoyed me. Would I come back? Yeah. Would I probably try to find another place in Rochester if it was possible? Probably yeah on that one too. read more

Cherryberry is probably the largest contributor to my hospital visit weight gain. I mean...who gets fat going to the Mayo Clinic? I do! I do! And why did I get pudgy? Cherryberry was right by my hotel...and offered tons of different types of frozen yogurt midwestern style. During my stay, I became quite partial to indulging in cotton candy frozen yogurt, with cake batter frozen yogurt, and maybe just a little bit of candy bar (think Snickers) flavor frozen yogurt. And I enjoyed topping off my large concoction (I kid you not, I spent $10 on a cup) with cookie dough, peculiar bits of popping pink candy crunch (like giant pop rocks with the texture of the bunches in Honey Bunches of oats) and some toffee candy bar bits. My father, bless him, practiced some self restraint, piling his chocolate frozen yogurt high with gram cracker crumbs and assortment of fresh nuts. If you're more of a sorbet person, Cherryberry offers a few, though none of the super fresh fruit sorbets (more like blue slush sorbet and an orange sorbet that's more creamsicle than fresh from the orchard). There are fresh fruit fruit toppings, though these remain largely untouched by us good midwestern folk. read more

I'm an ice cream connoisseur (ok I just love to eat copious amounts of ice cream). The idea of creating my own ice cream mixture is awesome. Smart marketing because they put all these exotic ice cream flavors on display to tease you. You get excited and grab a cup and start filling up. Maybe you'd like to mix a couple different flavors. Be careful it's about the weight. Next there's an entire array of toppings. Fruit weighs a lot so don't get excited and add strawberries, bananas and cherries like I did. I place my small overflowing cup on their weight machine and gasp when she tells me it's $10.40. What?! I should've gone to the supermarket and bought some Ben and Jerry's. YES! This is the brain freeze of all brain freezes and a much needed addition to the restaurant landscape of rochester. We truly enjoyed the self made yogurt places of Washington DC and were missing them when we came here. Unlike some of the east coast places there are fewer jellies and asian toppings and more hearty midwestern ones (fits the location). I loved the variety of toppings and ingredients. My guilty pleasure -- I've liked this place since its opening 6 (?) years ago and have always been more than satisfied with the yogurt selections and toppings. I wish they'd bring back the cup dividers, though (now I have to make the hard choice between chocolate and fruit every time). They recently added cookie dough to the ever growing list of topping choices and for the first time ever, my cup cost more than $10 (rip). In short, everything is really good and I highly recommend! As a business idea, this is brilliant. Give the kids free reign to a huge sundae bar, and then charge their parents $8/pound for their overflowing "creations." To be fair, the selection of toppings is pretty impressive and the yogurt is good. You can make pretty much any combination you can think of, and if your kids are anything like mine that means that you'll be paying for a tub of gummi bears, butterscotch, strawberries, and cookie dough. The only good topping they had were the fruit. I would have liked to see some chocolate sauce options with a little crunch. After entering the store it was painfully obvious she should have been spending more time cleaning while the store was empty as opposed to playing around. Mmmmmmm...all round package. This is one if the new places that came up at the corner of 52 and 2nd street. Delicious low fat yogurt - excellent to cool off anyday! They have a variety of flavors and even more toppings - both fruity and chocolaty. Their decor is just a burst of colour - red, white and green - uplifts you in no time... Free wifi and parking. Helpful and courteous staff. I was able to get a nice bowl of yogurt - chocolate, espresso and salty caramel with lots of nuts, Oreos, fudge brownies, chocolate chips and syrup for under $4! I know I know it doesn't sound healthy... But hey, indulgence is true freedom!! read more

I asked, and she told me that this location couldn't honor the text, which is fine, except that she told me it was valid and I already filled my cup with this knowledge. When I reminded her of this, she just repeated that she couldn't use my coupon text, and told me to throw it away, which I did. The service from this cashier was very disappointing. read more

We recently visited Rochester, MN and we walked at least three times to this location to get dessert. The frozen yogurt is phenomenal and the toppings are numerous and delicious!! I saw that some people complained about the prices. We have visited many frozen yogurt locations and this is very comparable in prices. I actually would rather pay for the amount I want then pay a large amount for some teenager to predetermine how much my $4.00 is going to give me. Also, this isn't ice cream...so you can't compare how ice cream tastes to how frozen yogurt tastes. If you are up for trying something new and fun, try Cherry Berry. I love (LOVE) myself a good dessert, so I was really looking forward to visiting the new yogurt place in town. Definitely not the best yogurt I've had, and a little on the expensive side. I like creamy yogurt - this was more icy/slushy like. For the amount I got for the price I paid (a medium-amount for $5.17 - yikes!), my money would have been better spent on a carton (or two...) of yogurt from the grocery store, or at a place like Cold Stone. Although there were lots of yogurt flavors to choose from, the flavors seemed off: the white chocolate had a hint of coffee flavor in my opinion, and the orange tasted like Tang with too much powder mixed in. I settled on a conservative amount of cheesecake, but when the price rang up at the cash register after my cup was weighed, I wished I had just saved my money for a different outing somewhere else.
