When we pick it up nothing was done . They washed it after we got there , we picked it up and drove to South Carolina and noticed their that the 2 rear stabilizer motors were missing . Then we noticed the 2 Bluetooth speakers were missing. And 2 of the window shades were broken. I called them up they said they'll get them ordered . After numerous calls , they did nothing. We didn't negotiate much, i had a number i was willing to pay and I was happy with what was offered a 60 month warranty. I told them I had my own financing they agreed and said I should consider theirs too, i agreed to consider it. My financing came in 3% LOWER than theirs, and BAM, they no longer agreed to sell me the RV unit. They then told me they would make money off me from either the interest or them keeping my deposit I had given while my finance was finalized. This is an illegal BAIT and SWITCH, run from this establishment, do not give them your hard earned money and/or business. read more

My experience is very disappointing. I bought a class C RV 2022 Coachmen Leprechaun that cost $85,000. Florida outdoors kept it for over a week after the purchase doing maintenance/repairs. They worked on the backup camera but did not fix it correctly and when I got home I called and let them know that it was still not working. Florida Outdoors has been giving me the run around about the camera being in the mail, its been three weeks and still no camera. Its very hard to back up a class C RV with no backup camera view. I will be posting this review on all sites. I advice anybody buying from this place to be very careful and check absolutely everything before taking possession and if you could avoid this place avoid it. read more

In May 2023 we took our travel trailer in for a leak repair in the front end roof. We were charged $1600 for the repair, and when we picked it up, you could tell it was a shoddy job. Within a few months, the roof was leaking again, and worse than before. They would not provide any type of warranty on their work, probably because they knew what a horrible job they did to begin with. Then, they quoted us $10-$15k for a new roof, which is absolutely outrageous. Plus, I would never again bring my trailer or RV to them, nor would I recommend anyone else either. My husband ended up reroofing our trailer himself, and it cost us less than $1500 which also included a new awning. It's so unfortunate that the saying, "If you want something done right, do it yourself" is so true. Fortunately, he is handy and could do that. I would never recommend anyone going here for a repair if you want it done correctly. read more

if i could rate them, i would give them a negative 10. sold me a 2012 river forest georgetown. $64,000... cash! the salesman/manager on duty/ finance man...lauren. they failed to tell me the steps were non functioning nor was the leveling system working at all. now, imagine someone who was/is employed there...had moved the rv to a frontspace on display.2 employees who are no longer there.. knew the stairs were bent and rusted shut. on the very first night at the koa directly behind the dealer, my wife stepped out into thin air, fell and broke her hip falling off the crooked rusted shut staircase. i had to hire a bonified certified rv repairman mike barber?...the absolute best n okeechobee. fixed both the straircase and the leveling system for $512.00 turns out that florida outdoors did not have even one certified mechanic on staff. the lawsuits are coming. they have supposedly just been bought out by a company named "chesako". whatever name they are using,,,stay the hell away from these pirates. worst customer service ever...anywhere! read more

Bought a 2019 outlaw from this place. Nothing but problems. This 2019 was so rusted it looks like its 30 years old underneath. My previous RV was 20 years old and didnt have any rust, but they sold me this outlaw. So many issues, has major electrical problems, and they tried to repair the rust issue but its coming off in sheets. This RV isnt gonna last me 5 years yet alone 30 years. I waited 1 month for an appointment for warranty and an Oil Change and Service. I arrived and was told there new policy is they will not do warranty work on an RV they didnt sell. I even called to confirm yesterday and of cou rse no return call. So I made the hour long treck with my partner who took the morning off to delever the RV.Theis company didnt have to decency to even call me to tell me of the policy change so my RV have sat for a month with broken stairs and a few other odds and ends. Oh my! Where to begin...? This is easily the worst RV service center I have ever has the misfortune to hire. I took my rig to them to repair a non-starting generator and a half-dozen lesser items. On the first day, I had an uneasy feeling when their initial diagnosis was that the the generator problem was because it was low on diesel fuel. Except... it is a propane generator. Enough said. They fixed the first two simple items on the list. They then charged me $240 to unsuccessfully try to repair a $25 air solenoid that they said was not available. Amazon had about 25 of them - average price $20. They burned up the starter on the genset and said that there was no replacement available. I ordered one the same day, and it was in my hands by 10 AM next business day. Three months later - after a large quantity of apologies and alibis, and a few thousand bucks wasted - I had had enough and fired them. The generator still did not run. This fiasco played out over almost three months. Need I say that I am not pleased and will most assuredly go down in history as an extremely angry ex-customer. read more

I bought a camper in August at Florida Outdoors RV Center in Stuart, Florida. They told me they had inspected the RV and it had no issues. A 140 point inspection. I brought the RV home and had never taken it anywhere except home. Withing one day - It rained and water poured in through the top. I removed the mattress and it was obvious that the camper had been leaking a long time as made evident by the warping and water damage under the mattress area. I told the people there about the leak. They said they would repair it at no charge and that nothing like that had ever happened there before. They literally said they would never "do this to anyone". I took the RV in and 11weeks passed and I never heard from them. Now they say they will not repair it for free and they have gone back on their word. They had even told me not to have anyone else fix it as they would take care of it. I suspect they had made a temprary fix to the leak before selling it to me- in the same way used car dealers used to put saw dust in a transmission so that transmission issues would not be evident when a sucker first bought the car. The funniest part is how on my first call no mention made of the business owner and everybody else were in the RV during a rainstorm before I bought it and there was no leak then- how convenient EVERYBODY working there was inside - maybe even the governor was there too ? The story about all these witnesses was not brought up until my 2nd call there after they had time to discuss how they would find a story they call all stick too allowing them to welsh on their agreement to fix the camper at no cost. read more

Called to schedule service for my fifth wheel. When making the appointment I specifically asked if they were able to provide warranty work on my make camper. I was assured they could submit warranty claims. I showed up at my scheduled time for service and was eventually met by a representative of the service department. He apologized and stated they were unable to submit warranty claims for my campers make. I understand the inability to not provide the service, but when asked why didn't someone let me know prior to hauling my camper there I was told it slipped his mind. Three hours and a 1/4 tank of fuel round trip. I later called to talk to a manger and was told the information would be passed along to him and I would receive a phone call. Three business days have gone by to receive no response. Sums up their business practice if your not buying read more

Our salesperson was all about us until the sale was made. Then we were dropped like a hot potato. We flew in to pick up our RV. Florida Outdoor RV did not have the unit prepared. We had a rush through introduction during which we discovered some issues. Two of the issues were addressed while we waited in the coach. Two issues were brought to to the attention of the technician and they were addressed as we waited in the dealership but two others were identified as "warranty issues". Others issues were discovered during our return trip home. We communicated with the dealership on our way home and were to told they would make appointments, send us missing items and call our local dealer to assist us. None of this was done. Once we drove off the lot, they wiped their hands clean. They followed up on nothing and did not do what they said they would do. Additionally, they conveniently neglected to document the issues we discussed. Avoid Florida Outdoor RV at all cost. They're about the dollar and nothing beyond. read more

We purchased a 2018 Motorhome from these crooks last year. WORST decision of our lives. The ac stopped working within a day, water tank leaked and damaged some of the wood after a week of having it. This took them 4 months to fix! When we went to pickup the RV 4 months later, we were shocked when we walked in and found FECES and SEMEN throughout the bathroom, mattress, kitchen area. It was HORRIFIC! The smell was like being inside a porta potty. We were stunned! What's more stunning is that when we asked them what happened, they said, we're not sure but you're going to have to take it like that. WHAT?!?! We made a police report and left the RV there. A couple of weeks later we were surprised to see the RV in our driveway. We have a few cameras in our house and come to find out they drove it in our driveway, driver ran out the RV, threw keys in floor, and got in another vehicle someone was driving behind the RV. Total SWINDLERS. I purchased a 2015 Coachmen RV from then and within three months I found out I had: a broken Catalytic converter (the sensor was tampered with so the check engine light didn't turn on), a broken water pump (constantly turns on when the water is not in use and LEAKS) & THEN sold me an "extended warranty" for an additional $4000 that... get this... doesn't cover anything! I called the company that they claimed covered the extended warranty & the call center said they don't have any record of me in their system. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. They will sell you garbage on top of garbage & then not return any of your phone calls once their done stealing your money. read more

I purchased a new 2019 Georgetown in May 2019 from Florida Outdoors. The service at this dealership is absolutely terrible. My coach has been in their service department more than in my garage in the 9 months I have owned it. And what is worst is that the General Manager Wayne doesn't want to hear me complain that my coach was in their possession for 5 weeks and when I went to pick it up today the warranty work still was not repaired correctly. Wayne actually told me to take it somewhere else for the warranty work. We bought our Thor RV from them. Brought it home and pulled some interior panels off and found several heater hoses torn and some not connected. Lots of poor workmanship everywhere. Frig started making noises after running awhile. Took it in to get several things fixed including the windshield which had a crack when we took delivery. Called on a Friday and was told come in the following Monday to pick it up. Got there and was told it's not ready, you should have called. Then they lied about getting a bad fan in for the frig when it hadn't been removed. Also found one of the tires was the wrong type and they wouldn't replace it and Thor said it was a dealer issue. They will lie and do anything to get a sale. Will never go back there and have told everyone I run into at RV parks never go the any Florida Outdoors for anything. read more

THE WORST PLACE EVER!! LIVING NIGHTMARE!! My Coach purchased was a BRAND NEW 2021 on 7/3/2020..has been at dealership in their possession for more than half of my purchase. I am thousands of dollars at loss from down payment, for multiple issues including broken fireplace (fixed under warranty), stripped out oven knobs and WORST of all a HUGE PLUMBING/PIPING ISSUE/WATER DAMAGE. I have been extremely patient AND the DISRESPECT, LIES and EXCUSES I have received is UNACCEPTABLE!! So much for ENJOYING your purchase right. It has been months of it sitting there back and fourth making me pick it up and tell me there's NOTHING they could do. This happened MULTIPLE TIMES with the latest of them finally picking it up to return to the dealership for THE THIRD TIME!! I was told my floors weren't soft from the water damage and I needed to pick up my coach right away that it was not a storage facility!! Haha WOW. I had to show up myself several times to get anything done and that still doesn't work. It's a CONSTANT BATTLE WITH BRAD!! I have to call them and the manufacturer to just get anything done....it has been terrible. All I have ever asked was for my issues going on to be handled in the appropriate manner. Can no stars rate? This business is terrible. They, Wayne and Mac, bugged me numerous times on an RV I liked, finally lowered the price and I purchased it. I lived in it ONE mth when I started having many problems. Be warned, you have to take camper in to them for repairs or be charged even if it is under warranty. From minor things to major like windows in one bedroom leaking to a flood in that same room. I lived without water for over two weeks and after I reported them to the BBB did they offer to pick up my unit. Now I have had no place to live for over a mth due to repairs still not being finished. FOREST RIVER, the manufacturer also will not do anything to help me. I would leave them with the camper if i had not taken out a personal loan with my bank. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR MANUFACTURER. read more

They are your best friend when you are shopping, but if you think you are going to get service after the sale, you are sadly mistaken. They wired our satelite system wrong....we paid $2,000 for it, and have had such problems with it! We never received one phone call from them...are you happy with us? Can we do anything for you? A note saying thank you for buying from us...can we fix your satellite system since it was OUR mistake?? Nope, nothing. We love our unit, but you can purchase a good RV anywhere. I would strongly suggest taking your business to a dealer who actually cares about their customers AFTER they have made the sale. read more

I would not recommend this dealership. I purchased a 2005 Sunrise. They did not walk me through or review the systems when I went to pick it up. They did a great job making the unit appear functional but on the way home within 100 miles, we found many things wrong and the unit was not even clean for pickup. BUYER BEWARE. As soon as it is off the lot, all repairs are your responsibility if you do not buy the warranty. There is no 3 day cancellation law in Florida on used vehicles. Leveling jack deployed. In my opinion this was probably a known issue, since when we picked it up, you told us to skip their demonstration and not to use them, stating they were 'unnecessary'. Halfway home the jack light came on and after following the troubleshooting steps we are still not able to lift it. The dealership was unable / unwilling to provide any assistance. Just before arriving home the engine light came on. When backing in, there is a bad grinding sound. While driving with the main AC, the cab was hot. The dash AC is blowing only minimally and it is too hot to drive. The antenna light came on. The seatbelt light came on. The bedroom light is held on with scotch tape. We did not have a demonstration of deployment of the awning and were unable to assess its condition. The backup camera has such a poor picture it is not usable. The unit was NOT clean inside as promised. In fact there was cough medicine and aspirin in the vanity closet. The unit smells, the dining table was dirty, the vents were clearly not clean. Based on the smell, I am going to assume that the black water tank was probably not flushed either. read more

I have given Florida Outdoors 1 star because there was not an option for ZERO stars. I own a 2015 Forest River 18EC that required some warranty work which they are the local dealer for Forest River. I called to make an appointment and they asked if the RV was purchased from them and since it was not they told me it would take at least 6 weeks to look at and I would have to pay the bill in full and I would have to try and collect it from Forest River. What if this happened to their customers if there RV broke on the road?? I contacted Forest River and they sent someone out the same day to my location to rectify the problem! 5 stars for them! They also said that it was extremely poor service from one of their dealers and were extremely disappointed! read more

Went in two days ago looking at a brand-new Sanabel fifth wheel asked the price after looking at it and was given the MSRP number called two more times looking for the real sale number and finally they got back to me after two days gave me their number which is still 15,000 higher than everybody else that sells the same unit with the same options I asked them why they were so much higher they told me go buy it somewhere else this is my second trip in there in three years and it will be my last the salesman was Mark very nice at first but thinks you should buy on the spot and does not want to give you the right number ever he always says he has to ask someone about the pricing. Florida Outdoor RV Center is where I took my camper for the annual service. We had just bought the camper and wanted a professional to look it over. When I called the first time, they gave me an appointment the next day. My husband and I dropped it off the night before. We put a note on the night drop envelope that we wanted them to call before doing any other work. Florida Outdoor RV World called the next morning and said that it would be going for inspection soon. Approximately two day later, I heard nothing. I called and they said a lady would get back to me in 30 minutes. Three hours later I get a call back. She stated that a bunch of people had quit and/or had been fired. She promised that she would take over and would communicate with me. Another day goes by and I don't hear anything. Finally, the weekend goes by and a third service writer gets into contact with me. He states that all of our slide seals needs to be replaced(and that it has a tear in it at the top) and our roof needs to be cleaned and sealed. We tell him to do the work. I pay for the work and my husband picked the camper back up. My husband checks the work and the tear is still in the same spot on the slide seal and the slide roof is still dirty. It appeared that the seals had been reconditioned to look like new. There was still old dirt on the seal. I immediately call the service writer the next day and he stated that they did replace the seal. My husband called and he tells my husband we are really sorry I wrote up the employee who did that. My husband says no problem just replace the seals and clean the roof this time. We dropped off the camper a second time to have the work completed. I texted the service writer to ask if it was done on Thursday. He stated it was completed. Than, two days later I pick the camper up and their is still a tear in the slide seal and the roof of the slide is still dirty. All the service manager offered was an apology and part of my money back. Remember, I brought the camper in a second time and all I got were excuses. My camper is still not fixed. I am very unhappy. One thing I do not tolerate is an dishonest business. We will never trust them with our camper, again. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY read more

Purchased a 2015 Forest River Lacross from the Stuart branch. Our salesman knew we were setting this unit up 25 miles north of Okeechobee, Fl on our private property. He swore to me that they could service the unit "if needed" on the property without having to bring it to the Okeechobee RV center, we'll just before the fabulous 1 year warranty expired we found that the refrigerator needed a new cooling unit. After pulling teeth to get someone out from FL Outdoor, and being charged $120.00 because we were "out of their" normal business range, we finally got the warranty work done - but in doing so the service man damaged the interior of our kitchen cabinets and the floor while he and "I" removed the damaged unit to repair it - yes you heard right - I had to help - there was no way 1 man was going to lift that unit out of the wall. Shortly after the repair was made, I had an independent RV mobile guy come check their work, they left out my baffle, which explained why the new unit didn't cool well. Now a month later and the warranty has expired. 1 of the 2 Dometic A/C units has a condenser issue. Nope - I'm not calling them, just buying a new one and installing myself - oh yeah, and today, I just noticed our shower pan has cracked - most likely from improper installation - I would assume. Long story short - I paid A LOT of money for this RV, Forest River for one has a thumbs down on manufacturing. Florida Outdoor has a thumbs down for service after the sale. My bad, lesson learned - stay away....You can do better! read more
