I brought my Class B van to Ray to repair a leak in the water tank, identify and repair a problem with my water lines to the faucets and order and install lithium batteries for the solar panels Optimum RV had installed. I paid him for the batteries he told me he ordered, received and installed; He was not able to repair the water line problem even though he replaced the water pump which may not have been necessary. He fixed the water tank - I think - but I never filled it again since there was no need to. He replaced the inverter but that, too, could have been unnecessary since there were not new batteries. He never installed new batteries but told me he had. Like a fool I paid him before seeing the receipts. I have attempted to get refunds from him but he is non-compliant. Don't trust this man. We did not have a good experience with Ray at RV Mobile Solutions. Nice enough guy, but excuse after excuse for not completing the replacement of the air conditioner on our 5th wheel. We waited 2 months believing the back order, covid delays, shipment tracking problems, weather, illness, etc. excuses. Decided to check with the factory only to discover that our AC unit was available! In fact, Dometic stated it was never on back order. Hired another RV repair guy- AC was ordered and installed within ONE WEEK. Why the run around and excuses? Just be honest and tell us you don't want or don't have time for our $2500. job! We trusted you at your word. Also, we believe the minimum $150. service call is a bit pricey. Other RV repair guy charged $85. and rolled it into the job. Today our generator in our toy hauler is working for the first time in two years. Ray came out a couple of times. Replaced the leaking fuel filter, replaced the batteries that the last jokesters also replaced. Replaced the ground wire and we are running. The other company told us the motherboard was bad on the generator and that it couldn't be replaced. Onan told us that was absolutely not true. Ray thank you. If you need to get something running. We called Ray on 1/13/21 to come look at a water leak we had located in the small access panel in our slide. He determined the only way to replace it was to remove the tub to access it. We agreed to schedule the work to get it fixed. He charged a $150 service call fee for a 10 min visit. He told us he was very busy so he couldn't get to it until the first or second week of Feb. We said ok. The first week of Feb came & went. I called Ray on the Tues of the second week and asked if he was coming as I'd like to plan for it. He said it would be another week or so as he had been sick 3 days plus the rainy weather had delayed him getting a few other jobs done. Ok, understandable. 10 days later, still no word from him so I call again. He asked if he could call me later that day and we would get something on the books. No call from him at all. I call him again the next day. He doesn't answer but sends me a text saying "I'll call u in a few mins". No call back at all that day. I texted him the next day saying "did u forget to call me?" No reply. He finally calls me back the next day and says it will be next Tues (March 2nd) before he can do it. Said he would be there between 9-10am. No show! We waited til noon and we called him. Said he was sorry. He had a another small job he had to do before he could come to us & that he would call us when he was on his way. No show at all that day. No show the next day either. At this point we have given up on him. He obviously does not want to do the job or our money. Btw, his quote was $150 an hour for a day & a half job so about $1500. Apparently he didn't want that big of a job or $1500. I would not recommend Ray. He does not communicate and does not do what he says he is going to do. We do not recommend. We were charged for a service call when they first came out to fix a broken toilet -- certainly not a complicated repair. Six weeks later the toilet still had not been fixed. Tons of excuses. They sent a guy out one time who didn't know what he was doing. A lot of smoke being blown. You name it. Finally, after six weeks, they managed to repair it. read more

If I could give a negative rating to this business I would. My RV was taken here in October, 2015. I spoke with Ray just a few days ago and he said it was all ready but wouldn't provide any documentation. When it was picked up, now 4 months later (January 10, 2015) NO WORK HAD BEEN COMPLETED. I have correspondence saying that it was being repaired and completed. He even stated that he had filed a Good Sams Extended Service Plan claim, which was not the truth. Trying to use this company had to be one of my worst experiences since traveling in our RV. I say trying to use because they never did come back and do any work! They came out initially to look at the problem and charged us $150.00 then us us they would be back the following week . What had happened is that my black and gray water tanks had dropped onto the ground...I could no longer use my toilet and in the sinks I needed to catch the water in a basin and then dump it outside. This man that came out never showed up the following week? After talking to him again on the phone he said he would be out in a few days that he needed to take pictures for my warranty company. Again he never showed up? No it has been 2 weeks and even though we keep calling him it always goes to voice mail. Finally he calls back and says he will be here Thursday . Guess what...yep..he never shows up. 2 1/2 weeks of this guy pushing us off ! Why? So we finally use a different repair co...Al's in Stuart...and within 3 days we are fixed. RV Mobile Solutions was recommended by another RV service company because they provided mobile service. I called Ray at RV MS explaining my generator would not start and needed some help. He inquired as to my location and noted it was better than 80 miles away and the service call would be approximately $250 alone plus parts and labor. I was a little desperate and agreed and set up a service date of some 10 days out. The date arrived and around noon (his ETA promise) I waited. By 3 pm I decided to call and find out what the problem was. Ray said he'd have to talk to his road service guy and would get right back to me. Not hearing from him I called him again and this time he said the service truck broke down (bad injector pump I recall he said) and he would call me back with a new service date and time. He also requested that I try to start the engine while he listened in the phone. I obliged and said he's worked on these generators for years and was pretty sure the battery was low and the engine wasn't cranking fast enough. So I went outside, opened the generator bay and let him listen to the engine cranking. It didn't start as usual but he was pretty sure the batteries were the problem. Even though there was no fuel getting past the injector pump. I didn't argue but just reverified the date and time and closed the call. Guess what ... better than a week later and still no return call. How people stay in business with such poor operating practices is beyond me. A simple phone call or two to the client to explain a problem goes a long ways in creating good will. Possibly the business owner who has little to no competition (like mobile RV service) feels that there is so much work out there that disappointing a customer or two won't matter but rest assured several of us do not feel that way nor appreciate the inconvenience we incurred. And some of us make sure other potential customers know the risks dealing with these businesses. No stars here regrettably. read more

In Fort Pierce heading to Georgia on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend and we have no hot water. Called RVMS and they answered right away. They couldn't send someone because trucks were heading to Ft Lauderdale and San Augustine. Offered to send guy after the Ft Lauderdale repair but it would be late afternoon. We had to leave so instead Ray? spent 20 minutes on the phone talking my husband thru several steps and we were able to get the hot water heater running. Our door latch broke on our RV while it was in a park and we were living in it. Ray came out and said the latch was worn out and needed to be replaced. He was going to get the part for me. Because it was the only door, we had to leave a window unlocked when we left, slide up the window and open the door from the inside when we returned. He charged us for a service call and said he would not charge the fee when he put the part in. A week later I asked about the part. He said he had to go back and check his parts bin. I can not say enough great things about RV Mobile Solutions and it's owner Ray. The did excellent work on replacing a dishwasher that was not easy to find and tracking down an electrical problem quickly as well as repairing a floor that came up. He took as much time as was needed which was a lot. I had to wait a few hours past the time of the appointment, but now I see why due to his caring nature and never settling for a job not done well. I will gladly wait now that I know he is giving the prior appointment the quality of service that he will give to me. First contacted Ray in early July 2018 to set up an appointment on for July 10th. We explained to him we had a leak problem causing damage to the inside of our rig. He examined the roof and various other areas where he thought the source of the leak was coming from and advised us that he would contact us soon thereafter to consult with the manufacturer so repairs could proceed. They came to change a inverter on our RV and install an awning. He ordered wrong inverter and when he sent his guys here he told us they didn't make ours anymore. We showed him they did. Tried to put 4 onto 2 terminals. He had to come back 3 more times after the initial visit. BECAUSE OF HIS MISTAKES. And tried to overcharge us for service. Stated was $110 an hour. And $150 for initial visit Which was okay. Awning took 1 1/2 hrs and inverter 20 mins. Then he changed his mind when he realized his mistakes and he would have to travel back here over 100 miles Our charge was $341 for inverter and the total bill was $956. He gave us $90 back after we bitched. But should have given us back $150. We even tipped his guys because they were nice. Do not trust his word. Get a written price before he does work read more

I am writing to update an earlier negative review on this business. I was contacted immediately after that review, and Ray promised to correct the problem with the sealant/caulking work on my RV. An appointment was set for yesterday, March 1st. Both he and his coworker arrived as scheduled and spent the entire day working on clean up and reapplication of the sealant. The work looks great right now. I am only sorry it took this type of measure to obtain a response, but I will say I am satisfied with the correction of the problem. I have been dealing with RV Mobile solutions for over 6 years and have recommended them to numerous other full and part time RV travelers who have also been very happy with their service. REcently I was on a 4000 mile, 7 state 4 month tour and broke down in the middle of nowhere and called Ray at Mobile Solutions who very patiently talked me through trouble shooting my problem both times. I was able to unhook my car and go to a NAPA auto parts and was able to fix my 40 ft. Motor home myself with Rays instructions.
