From the very first call, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable choosing them. There was no upselling, in-fact Perry convinced me to drop some unnecessary equipment (which would have otherwise added to the invoice price). The installation went smoothly, and the team (David, Nathan and John) took their time to explain everything clearly and answer all of our questions. What really sets them apart is the support after the installation. Anytime we've had a question or needed help, they've been quick to respond and genuinely happy to assist. The owner, Perry, dropped by a couple of days after installation to help us out on an issue. It's rare to find a company that truly cares about their customers the way they do. It feels great supporting a local family business, and we feel much safer in our home because of them. We did thorough due diligence for a couple of months and are happy to work with N&D Security. I'm charged 143 or 147 over 140 and that was including a 20 percent tip. I never got his name but Brian's brother that does the piercings hurt me!!! Bad!!! I even grabbed his arm. Which I have never done!! He did my nose, very slowly but it was fine except he didn't know where to place the nose ring. He was trying to put it in the crease of my nose. It doesn't go there! Then my lip. Omg, felt like he squeezed my lip as hard as he could! It felt like I got electrocuted! It's day 2 n my lip is tingling and numb, very bruised, and you can see the tool marks on my face! He did a horrible job and he needs further training. How many years he been piercing? I want my hard earned money back! I only work part time. This was a gift to myself. I have 3 kids and never do anything for myself. I don't think I deserved this on my face. I didn't pay for this! And I'll never tip before ever again!!! My lip hurts!!!

A colleague recommended him and he came…read moreout and promptly gave me a quote for a project to mount a projector in the ceiling and add a power outlet in the ceiling and run multiple cables through the wall. Really easy to schedule and stay in touch and Olen was on time and very professionally and cleanly finished the job. When we discovered we needed a different type of audio cable for one of the connections, he went right out to a specialty audio store ~30 mins away to get it. After I got everything plugged in and running, I discovered I had a little interference in the audio line from an electrical cord in the wall and Olen came right back out the next day and trouble shot the issue and got it fixed promptly. I would highly recommend Olen and Elev8d.

I had to pay someone else to finish the job and they had to take over control of the switch that he installed to get things working. Olen also left me without basic instructions like the password to my router. In addition the installer who took over for the job questioned the work that was done and said some of the wiring and installation choices were not good. I don't know if Olen is still working, or if something happened, because he simply stopped communicating. Regardless, he walked out without completing the job and no explanation.

Had to call Keith back out to fix what I didn't get quite right) - while he was installing the outdoor cameras, he noticed the previous owner left an active wire just hanging from the wall. He tested it to see if it was active and then put some tape on it when he realized it was!! Would've been a not so great situation if I ever went to move it on my own! Phil arrived the next morning and realized quickly that it was not going to be a simple re-key. He was going to have to install new door knobs on some of the doors. Fortunately I had a door knob and deadbolt kit that I said he could install. I asked if he could key all the other locks to be the same as that set. He did. The entire job took him much longer than he thought it would take, but he stayed, did everything that needed to be done, even though he had set up another appointment following mine. I apologize to the person whom he had an appointment with after me. All the locks work smooth as butter. That said, Phil is not just a locksmith, he's a good guy who has a great sense of humor and a great personality. I would recommend him to anyone.

I deal with contractors everyday so I've got the patience to deal with them. We had used this gentlemen before and didn't have a problem. On this occasion we were getting a building re-keyed and he was in the middle of doing the job with my wife there while he did it. He received another call where some folks were locked out of their home. So he left our job in the middle to go help those folks. After a number of hours while my wife was waiting he returned to do the job. On his return he completed the job of rekeying the building or so we thought. My wife didn't check the work for she had already been there to long already waiting for him to return from the other job he went to do while doing ours. We found that the keys didn't work almost immediately but we didn't contact John to have it straightened out for almost a month for we're exceptionally busy. When we contacted him to get it straight he said that in order to get it done there would be a cost associated with this for it wasn't his problem. Don't really have to say anything further in this situation but I can say if I built someone a home saying it's not my problem isn't the way to handle it. No, apology nothing. Hence the review.
