The theater is cool and the decorations are all so interesting. I love the history of the family and how he continues on. It's a two person run show, husband and wife. The wife is an awesome bartender. They have a fantastic drink menu but I always order the same thing no matter how much I say I want to try something different. She makes a salted caramel espresso martini that is out of this world. I'm so addicted. They do not serve food but you can bring in outside food to enjoy up until the show starts. Everyone gets involved in the show. I think that's my favorite part. I got pulled up front and was truly amazed by what he did. I mean how does he know?? Treat yourself to this local in plan sight hidden gem. You will not be disappointed but you will be bewildered.

First and foremost, I want to thank Yelp Baltimore for choosing me to win these tickets!! I'm soooo…read moregrateful for this opportunity. It was beyond fun! And I didn't win just any tickets... I got the VIP hookup! All you can eat crabs, coleslaw, corn, chips, and beer sampling!! When we entered, we got our VIP wristbands and a souvenir mini beer mug for endless samples. You have to options when sampling beer: try or mug. Trying allows you to taste the beer so you don't get a full mug and waste it if you don't like it. If you like it, ask them to "mug" and they will fill the mug. Lots of great beer, wine, and spirit vendors were present, such as Guinness, Heavy Seas, Charm City Meadworks, Virginia Distillery Co, Hoop Tea, and Jim Beam. We definitely took advantage and left lit! The crabs came 6 at a time. They provided us with mallets, wet naps, butter, Old Bay, and vinegar. VIPs also have guaranteed seating until the big tent. There was a live band for entertainment and they sang a little bit of everything. The people attending were great, the attendant were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go to another. The VIP tickets were worth it!!

First of all, lemme just say this: $89 VIP is the ONLY way to go! Why? Because you get unlimited…read morecrabs (a tray of 6 at a time but keep coming for more as you please), unlimited beer or wine sampling with a souvenir mini mug, a wooden mallet to help you get crackin' (I took a clean one home as a souvenir because they had so many!), you get to sit under a huge tent away from the sun, and you get unlimited corn on the cob, cole slaw, and chips as well. It is well worth it!!! I dunno 'bout you but I always feel extra when I have a wristband on and for this event I got 2! If you decide $89 is too costly they have cheaper options as well but you only get 6 crabs. But if you are with your best friend who can throw back some crabs (19 to be exact and she wanted more!) then do VIP! There's 2 sessions for everyone's convenience! We picked the later session for the sake of the summer heat and it couldn't have been more perfect once the sun set! We also enjoyed the live band that performed favorite, current & pop covers. This was a super fun event, great location with admirable views of the inner harbor, and I cannot wait til I get to come again. I had a great first experience! Vendors of all types were there to offer a variety of things from jewelry, desserts, services, handmade goods, shirts, and many more. We took an Uber there, also my first time, so I can't comment on parking. What I found convenient was the portable sinks to wash your hands. I wouldn't say it's drinkable but it definitely washes off the crabby hands!! There's a million paper towels and wet naps to help you out as well! See ya next year and let's get crackin'!!

I went to the 2 pm screening of Captain Marvel and was the only person in the theater. I gotta tell you, it's pretty cool to have any theater where you are the only person, but in an IMAX, it's incredible. The sound was amazing, the image quality was amazing and the seats are comfortable too. The concessions was open, but they didn't have any popcorn so I got a bottle of soda and some dots ice cream. For $13.95 with no tax, the experience is a steal and I highly recommend to see whatever Hollywood movie they are playing.

We recently watched "Avengers:Endgame" here and here's what I think: PROS: 1) Ticket price is way cheaper than Imax tickets at AMC, or comparable formats at Cinemark, Landmark, etc. 2) It boasts of having the largest screen, and it really is. Very impressive. 3) It's at Inner Harbor, so there are lots of things to see and do before and after screening. 4) We went on a Sunday, and there was a concession stand with popcorn and drinks and other stuff, not much, but at least. CONS: 1) I wasn't impressed by the sound. They said it was surround, but it wasn't. Plus, you can hear other people's laughter more than the movie audio, very distracting. 2) There is no Wi-Fi at the Maryland Science Center where this is located. Which is surprisingly disappointing for an educational site. 3) There are no reserved seating so if you want to get the best seats, be prepared to line up early. For us, since it was the Avengers opening weekend, we lined up an hour before. The place was full. 4) The seats don't recline, they don't even swing back, they are fixed. 5) Others may find parking a problem if you don't come in early. So, to sum up, would I go again to this place? Yes, I might. It depends on what's showing. For me, the best movie experience is still the Dolby theaters at AMC with the clear visuals and moving audio: the screen is not that big but you get recliner seats and reserved seating. It just costs a lot more.

My partner and I took a summer Friday off for a proper day date -- movies, late lunch, the whole thing. We were treating ourselves. The movie? Disclosure Day. A Spielberg film about humanity finally learning the truth. The irony of what followed was not lost on me. First, the concessions. The young woman working the counter appeared to be in a state of suspended animation. Slouched, silent, possibly in another dimension entirely. We weren't sure where to scan our tickets and asking for help felt like we were genuinely inconveniencing her existence. I've interacted with more enthusiastic houseplants. I felt bad asking for popcorn. Popcorn. A movie theater staple. I understand bad days, we all have them, but this one was notable. Then there was the temperature. I want to be clear: it was cold. Not "oh grab a light jacket" cold. Cryogenic cold. I'm pretty sure the aliens in the film had better atmospheric conditions than Theater 6. My sweat froze. That's not a metaphor. Speaking of Theater 6, there was also a strange recurring noise during the film that we couldn't identify. Given the subject matter, we briefly considered it was part of the experience. It was not. Here's the thing though: the movie was fantastic and honestly saved the afternoon. Emily Blunt deserves all the things. But with streaming making it easier than ever to skip the theater, the experience itself has to earn it. Yours usually does. Today just wasn't the day of disclosure we were hoping for. We'll be back. Please turn up the AC. I understand it's hot af outside but I don't need to watch the movie on an iceberg. I'm not exaggerating, a winter coat wouldn't have been enough. We wore long pants and brought jackets. Bring a blanket!
