Wow! This place is beautiful!! We were very excited when we heard about this new kitty boarding facility in Sammamish. The facility is absolutely stunning with an open concept design so you can see all of the cats & where they are at any given time. The suites are huge & have custom built in cat trees with other fancy amenities & full yard views of the wooded and pristinely manicured gardens. The inn keeper Amy is at the facility 24/7 monitoring and snuggling the cats. We met the owner who is clearly a feline finattic and has poured her heart into designing the perfect feline experience. She even has special air circulation to help keep the cats calm & content. This place is adorable with all the amenities you could ever want for your kitty, it seriously looks like a spa for humans inside, we look forward to visiting again soon! read more

I've boarded my cat here a handful of times now - I wouldn't pick anywhere else for my baby to stay. Anna really cares for the cats and the suites are clean, cozy, and a great size. They also have an Instagram page that they keep regular updates on so you can check on your kitty while you are away! There have been times at other places for shorter durations of stay where my cat had not been the same for a few days after coming home. At the Cheshire Inn, I felt like my cat didn't want to leave! I was very happy to see my cat healthy and happy when he returned home. I highly recommend this place. read more

There is no place like home but if you need an alternative - Cheshire Inn is the best one. Anna, the owner, took very good care of my cat and was very accommodating, making some last moment changes at my request. The place was almost at capacity and all the cats looked content and relaxed. Periodic emails with the status and pictures were greatly appreciated. I would leave my pet in Anna's care any time with no hesitation. read more

Anna is AMAZING!! I am so, so grateful that I found her and her team to take care of my two kitties. Her facility is beautiful, well thought out, and very very clean. My boys have stayed there several times now and they are always comfortable and relaxed when I come pick them up and take them home. Anna is extremely communicative and very accommodating. She remembers them when I bring them back and tells me cute little stories about what they like to do while they are there. I trust that they are very safe, and I trust that they get the food that I bring and my requests for care are followed. I am writing this review on behalf of my cat, Tuxie, who had THE BEST time!!! In his whole 10 yrs, he's never been boarded, always was able to stay with family and I am pretty sure he didn't know the difference. I am so happy I decided to board him here and not at the vet. I received daily photos and updates about him and he was most definitely having the time of his life. He was able to look out the window from his suite, roam about freely (he loves walking around like he owns the place), got lots of play time that even included treats and cat nip! I really cannot say enough good things about the Chesire Inn. If you want your cat to have as close as an at home experience as you can get while you're away, this is it! Cheshire Inn is truly an adorable hidden gem! And I won't be taking my fur baby son anywhere else. Suddenly I had to be abroad for a couple of months and as soon as I arrived at Cheshire, my worries started to fade away. Anna the owner is this awesome cat whisperer. She obviously loves and takes time with all the kitties as if they are her own. Many returned customers! No wonder, the kitties seem all content and relaxed. And Cheshire is amazingly like a 5-star hotel for kitties! When abroad, I had peace of mind with all the updates by email/texts as well as pics/videos of my kitty on instagram. My kitty had a marvelous time with lots of care and love. He got to meet other kitties and this changed him. And when I returned I felt he wanted to stay at Cheshire! I have never ever seen my kitty wanting to remain elsewhere than with me! That says it all. I am planning on taking my fur baby boy back for getaway stays and be pampered at Cheshire! read more

I am so happy that I selected the Cheshire Inn for boarding my 3-cats. It was close to home and I was looking for an environment that I thought would be much better than a small caged environment. This is where Cheshire goes above and beyond. The rooms are spacious, clean and have wonderful amenities: Cat trees, cubes to hide in and more... As I explained to my three cats, they were going to the kitty spa for a few days. To top it off, I cannot say enough about Amy. She was wonderful to work with from start to finish and did a wonderful job looking after my cats and gave me a progress report on how they were doing. This place is amazing if you need somewhere to board your cat/cats. Amy - is the manager- and is incredible!! This was our first time boarding our cats and Amy made us feel so good while they were there. I got a text with photos every morning with updates about how they were doing. She is extremely knowledgeable about all cats/breeds and has a great sense of humor. The place is super cute and very clean! We dropped our two cats off for a week-long stay at the Cheshire Inn. Amy was dedicated to making our cats comfortable and she sent us photos daily. It's clean and the setting is beautiful. We were glad we met Amy and will definitely be repeat customers. read more

What a gem!! I love the location, the setup and the people! Convenient location in Sammamish and the large room (attached to the owner's home) is comprised of individual cat suites, outfitted with hammocks, cathouses, litter boxes and food. Different sized rooms, some more private than others. Anna is lovely and engaging and wants furbabies to feel at home. She sends updates and pics throughout the stay. Also has interns to help w socializing and playing with the kitties. Will def use again! read more

This is my third time boarding my cats at Cheshire Inn and we're now convinced Amy was either a cat in a previous life, or a true cat whisperer! I have a very chilled female cat, but my grumpy boy cat is very hard to please and Amy always gets him to come around so well that he doesn't want to leave!! I love the attention and time Amy takes to get to know each cat's personality, and especially the daily pics and updates so I can be away and not worry. Sadly, however, I just received an email from the owner (Ann) saying Amy is LEAVING?!?! Please say it isn't so!! It took a lot to find a trustworthy person outside of family to care for my fur babies that they connect with :( read more

Definitely 5 stars!! My 2 year old cat stayed at the Cheshire Inn while I went on a break and it was so wonderful to know my "furry child" was in good hands. The whole process from booking, drop-off to pick-up went very smooth and the Inn is beautiful. My cat stayed in the medium suite and had a big window where she could watch "cat-tv" everyday. I was told she loved watching the bunnies the most. In the past, I used to have people come feed my cat at home when I went away, but going forward I will use the Cheshire Inn. My cat was relaxed when I went to pick her up and I could tell that she got lots of attention and play time. I give Cheshire Inn a very well deserved 5 stars and can definitely refer them to anyone who is looking to board their "furry child"! read more

The Cheshire Inn is a haven for cats! This feline boarding facility treats your precious cat as family. Our energetic cat just spent 12 days at the Inn and he did not want to come home! We received daily emails with updates and beautiful pictures (a few we plan to frame). The facility is more stunning in person than advertised which is hard to imagine. It was so refreshing to be guilt-free as this Inn definitely is not the usual boarding place where cats are kept in smaller spaces. It is VERY apparent that the cats get a lot of attention on a very frequent basis. The owner, Anna, is amazing and is a true animal lover! The Cheshire Inn will now be our go to for all of our future vacations! read more
