I thought all the dinosaurs were super impressive and love how they setup the whole walking trail. There is a ton of shade, so even if you go when it's super hot you'll be fine! For my dino obsessed five year old he loved seeing all the variety of dinosaurs and even some more obscure ones that he knew and you never see at spots like this. They did a great job of putting some dinosaurs into "scenes" and simply showcasing others with facts and more info. My son isn't into splash pads, but that splash pad looked like a ton of fun. The climbing area was also huge and looked like fun. My five year old stuck to walking around and going through the maze 15 times. The maze is simple, but fun and a nice addition to the park. If you are overweight or not reasonably athletic you will probably want to bring a chair. Our favorite parts were the highest zip lines and the big slide because the wait time was more reasonable for both. We got wakeboarding passes but it was so crowded and slow moving we didn't even try. The crowds thin out after 4 so if you don't want to spend all day come after noon. 10-11am and you are waiting in line to get in even if you did the waiver in advance.

However, when planning our trip this year, we had an unfortunate experience with Brownstone's customer service. Due to COVID restrictions, the park understandably had to limit their daily capacity. This limited capacity caused Brownstone to sell out much farther in advance than a regular summer (especially for weekends). This required us to purchase tickets in July for our usual trip in August, not knowing what the weather would look like for that weekend. When the weekend came, Hurricane Laura was moving through the area. The night before our trip, the forecast for the entire day was showing at least 85% chance of thunderstorms the entire day. My group included people who were planning to travel 5+ hours round trip for the park. Needless to say, with the thunderstorm forecast and our long trip lengths, we wanted to reschedule to a new day. I called Brownstone the night before our trip (Fri), asking about my options for refund/rescheduling. The operator told me that the park would remain open in the storm, and that there were no refunds (Note: When I asked about rescheduling, she did NOT mention rescheduling to a new day as an option). We did not feel safe swimming in water with thunder and lightning, and took the hit losing $273 in tickets. On the day after our trip, Brownstone messaged me on Facebook messenger saying that they DID in fact have the option to reschedule tickets to a new day, and asked me to call the office to reschedule. After calling Brownstone a second time, I was told differently, yet again, that I could not reschedule my tickets since I had not done so before my booking (even though I had called the day before to ask about my options, and was not told I could reschedule). The Brownstone employee was incredibly unpleasant to talk with, and again stated that our $273 would not be refunded. I was incredibly frustrated by the inconsistency in the information I was being given from each Brownstone employee I spoke with. I usually love this place, which is the only reason I am not giving it 1 star based on this experience. However, I am not sure if I will now be a returning customer - I am empathetic of the current pressure put on businesses during the COVID pandemic, but was disappointed by the inconsistent and terrible customer service on top of my loss in $273, even after being a returning customer for years. Be certain of your planning to this park before you pay!

Like this one! Loops, corkscrews, feet in the wind, no headache after, no line... How can anyone not love this?! Quick and easy here - life is hard. Sometimes we just need to get high on LIFE and forget our problems in a healthy way. No drugs are necessary. This coaster loops, spins, and twists all my problems away. When I ride - all I am thinking about is the fun of the moment. The name is correct! My mind is erased on here and I love it! It is one of the reasons I love coasters... Take a break, rest my mind, and have a blast! Simple break down since it's not like some record breaker or something - Top suspended coaster roller coaster. It's not new but sure does travel smoothly. There is little to no line & I enjoy the roller coaster! The front, back, it's all great! I plan to use my Six Flags 2016 season pass and be on this roller coaster more than once every single visit. It's a great coaster at this park and you can actually RIDE it without waiting forever and ever and ever. Life is great and my mind was cleared from the life struggles we all face because... There's no staff presence helping guests form or maintain any kind of organized queue, so the line turns into a free‑for‑all. People cutting, groups merging, confusion everywhere -- it takes away from the fun before you even reach the station. And speaking of the station, the ride itself feels like it's running on the bare minimum. For an older coaster, you expect a little rattle, but this feels more like low maintenance than vintage charm. Thunderbolt deserves better upkeep, especially given its legacy at the park. At the end of the day, the nostalgia is notable -- even special -- but the overall experience doesn't match the potential. With some attention to operations and maintenance, this could easily climb back into must‑ride territory. Hold on to your seats and try to enjoy

Maybe this was why the lines for the rides weren't that bad. We were able to get right on most all of them and the girls were even able to do some rides multiple times. Lunchtime was in their little restaurant where we had pizza and I bought additional mozzarella sticks, which are actually very delicious. Funny enough, the highlight of the whole park was our souvenir cup, which you could go around refilling for the whole 2026 season. This included the Slurpees that are self-serve at two spots in the park. On a hot day, these Slurpees were really really good and giving us life. Most of the parents got them, but we use them again this season? Probably not, but it kinda added to the fun, and we all had a really great time.

Seems that after Covid, Adventureland has taken a new philosophy to soak every dime they can from the public including at the expense of season ticket holders. Please change this.

Pumpkinhead people are scarecrows with faces painted on the pumpkins as heads. They're creative and cute. There are two venues, The Forest and The Village. The Village is a walk through and it takes about an hour for $7. There are about 30 pumpkinheads with different scenes; church, saloon, bank, post office, fire house, etc. The Forest is a one mile drive through and takes about 20 minutes for $25. There are about 30 pumpkinheads with different scenes; coal mine, schoolyard, and more. The ride is narrated, there's a scavenger hunt, and you can buy treats for the ride, such as popcorn, cider, and cider donuts. They also have multiple shops onsite. The harvest store has produce, gourmet food items, souvenirs, and gifts. The garden center has annuals, perennials, shrubs, etc. The main store has hardware, house plants, pet supplies, and a Christmas shop etc. Around Thanksgiving, they open up for the Christmas season and the pumpkinheads are waiting to be viewed via drive by, in their holiday spirit. My family and I went last weekend to The Village. The kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed walking through and seeing all the pumpkinheads. They did a great job with the scenery and putting the pumpkinheads together. There were many photos ops. I especially loved the pumpkinhead wedding. For the kids, they had a hay bale maze, inflated tires to jump around on, a spider web rope playscape, and an area where they can shoot soft balls into a pond. They also were selling fresh to order apple cider donuts; picnic tables were available to sit on. The parking lot was large and they had people guide us where to park; they even had a police officer as a crossing guard. They have a seamless operation and this place is worth a visit!

It was just painfully rough. By the time the ride ended, my friend and I looked at each other in complete disbelief, and several other people were doing the same. Everyone seemed shocked by how violent the ride was. We both walked away with whiplash, sore necks, bruises, and red marks, and I could barely walk afterward. In my opinion, the ride has become far too rough to be enjoyable. After that, we went to the yellow and green tube water slide. The employee at the bottom handed us a tube that was completely filled with water. Since the tube isn't transparent, we had no way of knowing until we tried to carry it. It was unbelievably heavy, and we struggled to haul it all the way up the stairs while people walked past us. When we finally reached the top, even the lifeguard couldn't lift it alone. It took all three of us-the two of us and the lifeguard-to get the tube into position. It was frustrating because the employee who handed it to us should have realized how unusually heavy it was and given us a different tube or emptied it before sending us up the stairs. It's really disappointing because this park was such a big part of my childhood. I expected to leave with good memories, but instead I left sore, bruised, and wishing I hadn't gone.

And the wood for the targets are all chewed up. The arcade games aren't included in the $45 The wave pool isn't included in the $45. The bumper car area is like 15' x 15'. The outdoor water equipment isn't included. There is a beat up swingset that has shoddy repairs I didn't try the laser tag or rock climbing so I don't have any comments on that. And the mini golf was pretty basic. They should charge less for entry or have more included with the $45 entry fee.
