This place has allowed me to maintain my very unreliable Range Rover at an affordable price. Just get in and pull the part. If you can't pull the part, please ask for the service of the amazing on-site mechanic, his service is available at a reasonable price. He can even pull the part for you while you are waiting! My weekend is not complete without going to the truck section. Please don't be an ass-hole, ask for help if you need one and you will be surprised by the help you will get.

He proceeded to ask me what kind of clip I needed. I told him I didn't know. Then he said he couldn't help me until I knew what I needed. I wasn't allowed to try any on my bumper piece that I brought in either. He said I'd have to buy the clips, then I wasn't allowed to return them if they didn't fit. He was very rude with the way he talked to me. I went down the street to Advanced Auto Parts and the guy helped me, even opened up packages to try different clips to see what would fit. I do not recommend this Napa store due to the unhelpful nature of their associates.

My next stop was Advance Auto, Josh was my sales associate. I was thrilled that not only did he have a better battery he also had the tools to install the battery. I was also happy to see how carefully he installed the battery he treated my truck with kit gloves. I'm not much on letting just anybody touch my vehicle having grown up in a family of automobile technicians there's just too many bad mechanics out there. (I had discovered it was low when my transmission started to slip.) My regular mechanic said he was backed up for days, so I was on my own. And the way this car's made, it's almost impossible for a layman to top off the fluid. Greg listened to my plight. His encyclopedic knowledge of cars was impressive, as well as his enthusiasm for problem solving. He quickly figured out the best way to address the issue without getting transmission fluid all over the place. Because I'm a Realtor, I was very grateful to have my car back up to speed so quickly. Battery…read moreperformed well until yesterday June 3, 2022, it would barely turn the engine over so I put my tester/charger on the battery and charged it for hours until it finished it's cycle and threw an FO3 Code (bad cell.) I talked with a young guy with a short beard who came out and put their beat to hell scanner on my battery, he basically ordered me to get into my car and start it, run the motor at 1500-2000 rpm then let it idle, turn on high beams, turn AC on high, turn off the motor. Rude, rude, rude! He handed me a print out from the scanner that said the charging system was fine, however he said it was not. I followed him in the store where he talked to an older guy behind the counter, who I overheard say that I needed to "learn to listen." I approached and said to him, if my battery did not have a defective cell it would have taken a charge. He reluctantly said he would replace it this time but never again. He took a black sharpie and wrote on the replacement battery receipt "NO RETURN." FYI a full charged battery at rest should read 12.75 volts. I have been a loyal customer of this store ever since it opened. You have lost me to "The Auto Zone" at Cosby Village where they treat people with respect and kindness. No the customer is not always right, but in this case I was 100% correct. To these rude men, I have turned more than a few wrenches in my 72 years!
