Parking is impossible here because of the limited parking spots by each store. Got to wait for another car to leave and see if any car is fighting for the same spot and then you go berserk! Not much going on here. There is a limited option of stores in this mall that I go to. Wish there were more stores of my type!

This used to be a higher end, upscale mall. It's now a bit run down, but not terrible. It still has…read morelots of big box stores, but also small boutiques and pop ups. For example, there is an entire storefront devoted to claw machines. There is another store called "mystery bins" that has a random assortment of items that kind of look like they fell off a truck. There is a rope obstacle course for kids on the upper floors of the mall. Cool concept, but a little off putting that things could fall from above on to shoppers on the lower levels. Overall, it's a decent mall, but it has lost some of its luster over the years.

However little 9 year old princess convinced her brother and myself that this store was the place... We relented to her. Alas I havent been in that area much, but I do know that Spring Valley had an itsy bitsy AS. Not anymore people! Apparently they are in place of the huge PathMark that used to be there. Although the "local"s are nosy and pushy (sorry, i speak the truth) the kids heaped up gifts that were really smart and fun. My little princess had to have her "maybe" pile and the little guy was pensive adding numbers and choosing wisely. It did take a while, but I'll tell ya - what a huge selection. We walked out with so much stuff, from make your own jewelry box, hello kitty teddy that opened to a blanket, basketball, school lunch bag with a cool key chain, pens, lip gloss that I am highly considering next years budget to be $10.... This may seem like an odd comment, but the area is very upper-middle class to upper class, where you sometimes get kids working the shops who feel superior to you for no reason other than their parents are rich. At Banana, they're always willing to help you out. Just the people alone would give this location 5 stars. Unfortunately, the place is really small (I know I keep saying it, but it is). I really feel like I can stick my head in the door and see everything they have without actually going in. The lay out is pretty standard for most BRs; nicer attire in the front (read: suits, suit separates, the hot new looks), with an area in the middle for check-out, some shoes and cologne in said middle section, followed by the more casual clothes at the end. It is obvious the women's side is a little bigger, and is not interrupted by the register area which does hinder your shopping experience by making it a hassle to get through. I feel that the clothes selection is very lacking (I can speak for the men not so much the women). I can rarely go in there and find anything I need. I've gone in and seen some very nice jackets, even a sweater or two, but they are always tiny. I can never go in expecting to find anything larger than a Medium. I need a size 38 pant, and you will not find that in stores (unless it is an online return), especially not in little shops like this one. I wish I could give this location the full 5 stars due to the helpful sales personnel, the fantastic out-of-the-way location, and the always classy attire they sell. Unfortunately it is a store, and the inability to have ever actually bought anything from this location stops me from doing so. I can honestly say the only things I have ever been able to purchase at this location are either cologne, perfume, or possibly a pair of glasses. Everything else I have had to head to one of the malls and deal with that mess. I know their space is limited, but I still feel it has to be compared to other similar shops. The fact of the matter is I can't give a clothing store I have never bought any clothes from a 5... not even a 4, no matter how great the sales reps are.

Dollar Tree has become a pretty frustrating place to shop…read more Parking here can already be annoying, and with the recent snowfall not being cleared well, it's even harder to get in and out. Inside, there's typically only one register open, and the cashier is sometimes away from the front handling other tasks. Lines build quickly. Customer service has also felt harsh and moody on more than one visit. On top of that, very few items are actually $1 anymore, which takes away from the original appeal. Overall, just not a pleasant shopping experience.
