Dollar Tree has become a pretty frustrating place to shop. Parking here can already be annoying, and with the recent snowfall not being cleared well, it's even harder to get in and out. Inside, there's typically only one register open, and the cashier is sometimes away from the front handling other tasks. Lines build quickly. Customer service has also felt harsh and moody on more than one visit. On top of that, very few items are actually $1 anymore, which takes away from the original appeal. Very disappointing, lots of empty shelves, very poor selection. Wouldn't buy any edible items due to lack of cleanliness.

If I can give this place ZERO stars I would! The standards in the place were never particularly high to begin with, but in the past week and a half, this place has become even worst than it has in the past. There are barely any items in the shelves, and boxes everywhere which make it impossible to maneuver in the store. I asked the speak to the Manager, but apparently he's never present. I feel for The cashiers who work hard but this place should be closed down. Whoever is in charge deserves to be fired. You would think that a store in this location would be better maintained. read more

Great store get items at a cost efficient way. Why pay $5+ for a greeting card, when the recipient tossed it in the garbage pick up. Great for cleaning supplies. Staff is friendless, willing to help. They appreciate when you just say hello! Demanding an answer from the personnel does no one any good. To me, when a customer complains or is upset here the saying should be "the customer ii wrong, not right" in this store. I shop here frequently. read more

awful customer service. disorganized messy shelves. items are all over the place. an item (a dirty misplaced item) that I put back fell off of the shelf and broke. An employee (a woman with long dark hair) ran over saying "you break it you buy it. haven't you ever heard of that". I understand if this was an organized beautiful shelf display and something clean/worth buying broke. This was a $1 dirty item that was clearly misplaced in the first place. I also offered to pay and she continued giving me an attitude in front of my young child. Just a Buck in Westwood is LOVELY. The women working there are so kind and friendly. It's always clean and organized. Please do yourself a favor and avoid Dollar Tree, unless you like being yelled at by a deranged angry woman over a dollar. read more

Best store for low income families, it serves a purpose for needy persons on a limited budget. This store is clean a change in the manager came rolling out after many complaints a few years ago. And since covid 19 rolled out so has this stores inventory supplies in toilet paper . It was a markedly noticeable change by the end of March 2020. This store has a good staff who serve the community and get way underpaid for their service. A 5 dollar owners raise would be well deserved by its staff. read more

When I gave the cashier (name tag:Vivian) a $5 bill for my single item she rolled her eyes, and rudely said that I should know that there is tax of seven cents and I should be prepared with that change next time. She then threw my change into my hand, spilling it on the counter. Also, when I asked for a bag she said "NO: we don't give bags on every item." What is going on here? Does this woman take offense at every person she has to provide with change - and does she nastily go after them as she did me? This woman is far too aggressive to be dealing with customers. I surely won't be back and I'm going to spread the word to others about this incident. read more

Worst store with worst customer service. Stay away from this place. People here are extremely rude

Staff is friendly and helpful. I had to exchange and return some items and they helped me well. Store is clean.. and items always gets refilled. When I don't find something I always ask the staff and they get me some from inventory:) I also love getting the birthday balloons on here. So much cheaper than a regular party Store. Same thing with water bottles. I always come here for emergency water. There's parking and the location is great. Love it. read more

A very tired dollar tree. It hardly has anything you want. I looked for Halloween treat bags for some time in October and they didn't have them. Very disappointing. It's also not very clean at this store. It's dusty and I would check expiration dates of food. They may be on the verge of expiring... other dollar trees are better and cleaner. This one should be your last resort. read more

This store needs a serious scrubbing! It's absolutely filthy, trash and wrappers strewn all over the floor, there is a coating of dust, dirt and who knows what else all over the floor. It feels gritty with every step you take. And forget about the bathrooms, doesn't matter how bad of an emergency you have just hold it... you will feel disgusting afterwards no matter how thoroughly you wash your hands. I don't get it either because this store is filled with cleaning products! Anyways, apart from the filth, for the most part they carry some pretty good name brand products. It's also very good for party supplies and even office supplies. I wouldn't trust any of the food or personal hygiene products but that's just my personal opinion. Staff is nice for the most part, although they don't mind letting the line build up to a rediculous number before eventually opening up another register. All in all it's good if you need something quick, but management really needs to focus on the cleanliness and appearance of the store. read more

I'm still sitting in the parking lot on a Sunday morning and I gotta say, I'm impressed. The best dollar tree I have ever been to in Bergen county was in Closter before they shut it down when they were building the Whole Foods. The Park ridge location comes very very close to how I felt about Closter. It's clean, organized and the staff is friendly. Did I mention organized? They have stuff people! Anyone who thinks poorly of this location has never been to Bergenfield. Love the Bergenfield staff but that store is a mess. You wanna talk about tired? Also, people are quick to judge. The staff here aren't unwelcoming, they're just people like me and you. Don't be condescending, just talk to them like a person, ask your question and keep it moving. Dirty, dirty store. The lamp pole outside is literally on an angle and ready to fall down and injure someone very soon. This place really brings down the value of a nice town like Park Ridge. The workers here need to better maintain the products inside the store, by making sure customers aren't tripping over half the merchandise in the aisles. Also, someone needs to sweep the outside of the store very badly - there is garbage strewn all over the parking lot, and there is a giant sheet of ice right outside the entrance, which anyone can slip and fall on anytime. Please Dollar Tree, clean this store up!!!! read more
