Dec 7 around 11:00 am I experienced an unnecessary wait as the CVS employees ignored the few customers in line. The employees were really just ignoring the waiting customers for an unreasonable amount of time as they worked on other things. Considering that there were more CVS employees than customers, there was no need to keep the customers waiting for around 10 minutes. The Pharmacist who was waiting on a customer when I arrived, told me she'd be right with me. She then proceeded to walk away and do other things and never came back to the counter. Around 10 minutes later one of the employees finally came to the prescription pick up area and waited on me. Very irritating when the CVS employees behave as if their time is more valuable than their customers. Serving waiting customers should be a priority rather than working on items for future pick up.

NOW…read moreTHAT THE SERVICE IS NO LONGER CENTRALIZED IN HUDSON, WI--where only a few prescriptions were filled at the pharmacy--BUT INSTEAD COMES FROM A DISTRIBUTOR, where they package the medication in a way that's completely unnecessary and expensive for the company, since it comes in a plastic bag, and inside that, another paper bag with the medication. That costs money for the company, packaging and shipping and time for the customer. They keep making things more expensive for them and call themselves businesspeople. I have worked and lived in four different countries and at pharmaceutical companies, and none of them had such a huge bureaucracy at the pharmacy level.

The last time, we ordered another prescription, when we stopped to get it 4 days after having ordered it, it STILL wasn't ready. Even more fun is that they could only give me 8 of the 90 pills because they were out of them. This wouldn't be so irritating except that today's visit, which should have only taken a few minutes, took 35 minutes because I had to wait in line twice, the second time needing to explain that they only had a few pills. For recurring prescriptions, we get text messages asking if we want a prescription refilled. That's a nice service except the pills are STILL never ready! I assume they are short on pharmacists but the service is so, so poor.

This particular Walmart falls into a category of somewhere between a Target and a Dollar store. Maybe a lean toward the latter. Not too dumpy, but just enough to get you thinking hmmm, where have I seen this before. I'll tell you where, that mess of a dollar store across the 94. What an ugh that place is. The shelves are pretty well stocked and there is quite a variety from which to choose. Speaking of variety, you'll find it in the employees too. Some talkative, some not so much. Some friendly, some not so much. Some interesting, some VERY interesting. But before I get into trouble with the PC crowd I'll leave it at that. Even rich folk like to save a buck. So if you drive a Mercedes, there are plenty of parking stalls for you to park across. But then that would draw too much attention. You're better off letting your butler do the shopping. Quick Tip: Go to the bathroom before you leave the house. For the life of me I couldn't find one there. I guess that I could have kept looking, but it's hard to walk with your legs crossed.
