It has books in all subject areas.

This bookstore is so special to visit in the quaint town of Stillwater Minnesota. When you first…read morego in, you get lost in all of the old and new beautiful children books. My grandchildren would just love to spend time looking for that perfect book. And the rest of the store, you could get lost looking at the selection for all ages. The homey atmosphere brought me back to my childhood library. I went there to see if any of my older books would be of interest for them to buy. The service fit the atmosphere of the bookstore. Very down to earth, very helpful and she quickly went through the boxes and executed a transaction of very fair price. I love books, happy to know my books would go to a good home. I will be back to experience leisurely checking out the bookstore more.

True, it's a small store but they have opened up a couple rooms adjacent to the front of the store to add greater depth to their inventory. The employees here are always friendly and ready to help if I have any questions. I do not take a brick and mortar bookstore in a small town for granted. Plus, there are several dining options near by that I love (I am looking at you, San Pedro cafe). The back of the store has a vintage area with ample non-bookish gifts. I found the book selection extremely small, and this wouldn't be my first stop if seeking a new book to read. Further, the organization of the shelved books felt wild with genres seemingly mixed. The staff were pleasant and helpful; and I, also, appreciated the parking in front of the store.

It came with a nice book mark and was a signed copy. I browsed the store while vibing to the awesome playlist. This one did not disappoint, and has such a soothing layout and vibe that you feel welcomed to linger a while. I purchased a couple books for my reading pleasure and then also found a beautiful Black art puzzle as a gift for my Dad. Such an adorable boutique with a very kind and welcoming owner named Shaela. She was very personable and so friendly. She chatted with us and didn't make you feel like "just another customer." The amount of goodies here are fantastic. They offer a great amount of hats, jewelry, self care items, cards, kids, etc. Also, the homemade lotions are so great.
