It's in the lesser known neighorhood of Langdon in NE DC (south of Brookland). The building itself is historic and giant. It's well kept maintaining its old charm. Inside are art studios for a collection of DC small businesses and creatives. Twice a year they open the warehouse to the public to showcase each studio's work. As you wander throughout the building, talk to the artists, enjoy the snacks they lay out in each room, and get to know their stories. Many of them are native to this city and express their perspectives through their beautiful art.

There is wonderful lighting equipment, although, the natural light is so abundant, I mainly used lighting to fill in shadows.

It's a unique art school combined with artists' workshops on three levels. They offer an array of classes for artists and for novice looking for a fun hobby. The classes posted that I saw were for drawing,painting, and live model drawing. Some studio rooms were quite small, while other room were larger for classes/workshops. I came for the grand opening celebration. The founder's young son was greeting people at the door and giving a well rehearsed explanation of all they had to offer. I was impressed. It was quite fun going in all the rooms and meeting some of the artists. I hope to visit again soon... maybe partake in a class one day.

A bit over priced, but I'm assuming people want to make their money back from Covid. I would love to see an exhibit here or something like that. I feel like it would be such a dope experience. Always passes thru the building but never been inside. Coming inside, be ready to immerse yourself in art. There is 2 levels inside the building. It's very cool to walk around the different exhibits. Upstairs has this really cool stage with a nice backdrop. The building has a very retro appearance, but the art inside is really diverse with many different art. There is at least 1 staff present inside the building, but they are mostly there to answer any of your questions. If you come here, please know that photography is fine to be taken here. Not sure about private events / photo shoots. If you come here, it takes about an hour to see everything unless you move faster around the exhibits.

One of my muffler hangers on the car body had fallen off so there was no way to keep the muffler…read moresafely hanging. Jesse shaped a piece of steel rod into a hanger perfectly matching the location of the old one. Then he welded on a metal plate and now my muffler is nicely centered again without hitting anything when on the road. Otherwise no car shop was willing to help but only Jesse!

I needed special size extra long bolts for my car that I could not find supplied at any store…read more Jesse made the bolts for me exactly the length and thread I needed and it took him no time at all! He was very fast and and even coated the bolts for me so they do not rust. I would not hesitate hiring Jesse Robinson for any size custom blacksmith work. Since Jesse did such a great job the first time with making specialty bolts I decided to use his skilled welding services again for repairing my exhaust as it had cracked but did not need full replacement and for a Saab, those are quite expensive for a new one! Jesse quickly saw which connection needed replacement, then cut the old one out and perfectly welded on a new connection and pipe in place so that nobody could tell it was not the factory exhaust once he was done with it! He also completed all the work on a holiday! Would definitely use Jesse again next time I need a quality welder.
