AA Exteriors was also one of the only companies willing to find a solution creating a roof that seamlessly blended and fused into my existing build for a reasonable price. Nick and his crew definitely delivered, and they were out on the job site from start to finish. While the permitting process through Anne Arundel County took a while and was by far the most difficult part, Nick worked quickly and efficiently on everything he could control including the: planning/design, demo, foundation build, decking boards, roof construction, screening, and punch out work. Through each step of the process, Nick kept the work area clean and I never felt like my dogs were at risk of injury when letting them outside to go to the bathroom. During the job, Nick made some excellent recommendations including recessed lighting around the roof of the porch and using decking boards instead of lattice to close in the deck. He also handled some extra tasks like cleaning the gutters, power washing the siding, laying down mulch and grass seed, and planting shrubbery. All this to say that Nick truly cares about the job he does and making sure the customer is happy with the finished product. Daniel was indignant that I was unhappy with his work quality and refused any apology or accountability, just continually repeating over and over that his work is museum worthy and I should just be happy with what I have. This is similar to another review where he asked for more money when on site despite the scope of work not changing. Of course I refused the 50% up charge. He said he would make new molding to go around the stained glass as some snapped when they originally removed them. That did not happen. After they glued everything in and put the damaged molding back they said they were "beat" and leaving. Without fixing the issues to the molding or painting it back to black after asking me to go buy black paint. Their excuse was that it wasn't in the contract despite them clearly originally setting out to do just that.
