The consultation with Talin was completely pressure-free, and she took so much time to answer all of my questions and explain the different extension techniques that would work best for my hair. I never felt rushed, and I really appreciated how patient, knowledgeable, and honest she was. She was also always available if I had additional questions before my appointment, which made the whole process feel very comfortable and stress-free. She did an amazing job coloring my hair and took care of ordering the extensions for me, so I didn't have to worry about a thing. I ended up getting a butterfly weft with V-lights, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the results. Everything blends so naturally, feels comfortable, and looks absolutely beautiful. A male friend of mine and client of Talin suggested I go to Talin at Cheveux Hair Boutique. Talin assured me she could cut curly hair - and she does - Beautifully! I have soft short curls that are easy to care for. My hair is thinning from androgenic alopecia - female pattern baldness. Talin has been able to cut and style my hair to its best advantage so it is difficult to even see the bald spots. We've had excellent discussions on how to stimulate the scalp, and shampoos to use to help slow the hair loss process. Talin is a knowledgeable professional, and I take her advice to heart. I have baby fine hair, and for the last couple years i caved and decided on extensions. after a very thorough consultation, she suggested a couple different methods and tape ins were best. Upstairs salon has a no frills old school feel, but don't let that fool you. Mariana's skills and experience are exceptional. I'd take genuine expertise over a trendy looking salon any day. Salon Fig is Jessica's own. It is a boutique style hair studio with a lot of charm and feel of a laid-back luxury. You go there to relax, enjoy yourself and leave with fabulous hair. Jessica is a color expert. She is incredibly talented, skilled and amazing in what she does. My natural hair is medium ash brown and I usually ask for blonde ombre or highlights. My hair looked so much better when I left the place. We had great conversation and it was really obvious that she had a lot of experience working on hair. I liked that. She had some great suggestions to get my hair healthier but was not pushy at all with her products. The inside of the salon looks really cool and feels nice, clean, professional and comfortable. I love the patterning on the tiled floor too. The salon has great ambiance I highly recommend getting your hair done here.

The person who replied did not apologize for the annoyance re: all their stuff being broke, and no thanks for bothering to bring these issues to their attention. She told me to call them, instead of simply replying to my Yelp message to book, after all that hassle. So I went elsewhere. Don't want to deal with people who treat other humans this way.
