My layers were uneven and my previously thick bangs were sparse, uneven, and had hugh gaps. Fortunately, another stylist at another salon was able to tidy my cut so I can now ditch my baseball cap. My hair is still incredibly short but at least I can style my hair while waiting on my hair to grow. I reached out to Vintage twice and received no response. The artist did a great job, and I was very happy with the results. However, my experience with hair was not the same. For the price, I was not blown away with the outcome. I also noticed that the upstairs area, where hair services were done, felt a bit dirty and not very well maintained. I understand it is an older building, but cleanliness should still be a priority, and some areas felt a little grimy. Downstairs seemed much better kept, so the experience definitely felt inconsistent depending on the service. Overall, I would return for makeup, but I would not come back for hair services.

For some other salons, you have to sign up for an account first before any appointment times are shown, and if you go through all the hoopla to sign up and don't like the appointment times, then too bad, you already gave away your name, E-mail, phone number to that salon. For Shears-n-Brushes, appointment times are displayed early on. I am now looking for opportunities to flip my hair back and forth like a supermodel...need to work on the smize though.

My first visit was for a major haircut; my hair was probably almost a foot long and she cut it to my shoulders and gave me layers. My second visit was for a trim and partial highlights.
