I visited the Chevron location listed above and had an unpleasant interaction with an employee identified as Karen. During my visit, I experienced behavior that I found to be unprofessional, disrespectful, and inappropriate for a customer service environment. Upon entering the store I was approaching the counter, I was met with a negative attitude from Karen. She spoke to me in a rude tone and appeared irritated without any clear reason. When I asked a question she responded dismissively and did not provide helpful or courteous service. This is the second time I have experienced unprofessional behavior from this employee. read more

I left my purse in the restroom of this gas station yesterday. I drove home and realized I left my bag there, called the store and spoke to Nick and he said they have it. I picked it up today, everything was intact, my cash, phone, cards, etc. Wowwww...all the staff, so amazing and helpful. Thank you so much for your professionalism, honesty and kindness!!! The station is fine for getting gas. It is well maintained. This review is for the touchless car wash. I was very disappointed with the touchless car wash. For 11$, the machine made a single pass over the vehicle. I could have done the same with a garden hose, and received a similar result. The 11$ option says that a clear coat is provided. Unless the clear coat protection is mixed with the first and only pass by the machine, the machine did not apply a clear coat. Summary: For 11$, you get an approximate 2 minute end to end (pulling in, stopping, driving out) wash and air blow experience, resulting in a car that looks like it hasn't really been washed at all. I.e. I could write "wash me" on the hood of the car and clearly see my writing after the wash. Perhaps the machine needs to be checked / reprogrammed for the touchless option? read more

Took my car to the car wash. Paid the $15 (the Works plus). NOT worth it. TERRIBLE wash system. Didn't even clean my car. Left lots of water spots. When I got home, I had to clean up the water spots and clean the area that didn't get clean. UGH!! Definitely not coming back. read more

Here I go again. I've been on a roll recently in finding new places of exploration so that I can get that perfect capture. Tiny. Large. Little antennae. It doesn't matter, as long as I'm inspired and my camera is with me. But I ended up kicking myself on this most recent venture because it looks like more reconnaissance is needed in order to ensure the success of such spontaneous projects. So, after driving around too much and then the subsequent molestation by a bunch of wood boring beetles that surrounded a large stack of railroad ties, I ended up running back to my car (thought the ties would be a great b&w photo) and "popping" the mass of beetles stuck on my shirt/skirt/hair (they were stuck on me) and I could not swat at them in fear of smashing them all over my clothes. After such an event I needed a major reward of sorts. I was down to a 1/4 tank and constantly reminded of the attack earlier by other beetles that had ended up humping my car windows and clinging/jeering through the glass, I decided to head towards Vallejo and found myself drawn to a newer looking Chevron sitting prettily on the corner of busy Napa Junction Road. This is a nice Chevron. Not only is it a fueling station but it also boasts a drive-through car wash and is an ExtraMile store. What does this mean? It means that there are clean restrooms inside, a good assortment of snacks to further the dutch oven effect due to the major preservatives sealed in such said bags and my favorite line of holy ascent: the soda fountain/slurpee machines. Rather disappointed that they failed to carry my usual Chili Picante (had to settle for Ranch, blech) and my cherry slurpee. The customer service staff were extremely nice and kind, something I find a pleasant surprise from time to time. Especially the older lady behind the counter who assisted me with a smile and lots of conversation. Easy access off/on the very busy junction (just be prepared for the numerous CHP patrolling this busy mini highway) and if you forget other items, there is a Safeway and Walmart along the way (both somewhat newer looking) and then I ended up kicking myself for passing a 7-Eleven further along the way. Good place to fill-up prior to heading out towards the Carneros highway or to Vallejo. C'est la vie! read more

The gas station itself is pretty decent. The store is clean and typically well stocked. The car wash is another story. I went thru today to get a wash and it left residue all over my vehicle. It looked like dirty water mixed with soap so I ended up going thru another car wash at a different location to remedy the situation. Definitely not with the $13 price tag for the highest tiered wash. read more

The worst Gas Station I have ever been to. The pumps don't print your receipt because the employees are too lazy to replace the tape. You have to go inside to get your receipt, maybe so they can sell you something. The car wash used to be good, now they must be using recycled water that leaves white streaks all over your car and windows. My car looks worse than before I washed it there. I will NEVER return, I am no longer a customer, which is too bad, I work just down the street and I would get a car wash every week there. Bad Ownership, No Management, Lousy employees. read more

Love the car wash. It doesn't use those dumb wheel brushes that will scratch the hell out of your paint. Doesn't use those stupid metal tracks that lowered cars cannot go over, so if you drive a car that sits low off the ground, you are ok here! Everything is touchless and automatic, just pick and pay, roll on in SLOWLY because the undercarrige jets will clean off the bottom of your car, and let the machine do the rest. Can accommodate most vehicles, but the height doesn't look too forgiving to fit tractor trucks and lifted rompers. Accepts cash and card. Open until about 10pm. Occasionally closes from time to time I think for maintenance. Has jet dryers, rain-x protection, spotless finish. read more

American Canyon is good for one thing. Pit stops, fast food and convenience stores. The Chevron here was my friends last bastion for matches before we headed into the night for TFL. Love that the car wash is touch less and there isn't a boot to put my tire in! Bi monthly car washes... Works for me ;) Oh and I appreciate that it accepts a credit card at the machine so I can just drive up to it. Yes I am lazy and don't want to have to get out of the car to make a payment. read more

Lived here for 7 years, single parent, community leader...I had paid for a car wash about 20mins before this situation. The woman cashier and I even made a joke about hopefully the other cars using the vacuum would be done by the time I got out. They weren't so I went to Walmart and came back, sent my kid in for $2 in quarters paid for the vacuum use. Did some scrubbing in my car then sent my kid in to get change for another $1 and he told my kid no it's ripped..it was the corner barely ripped serial numbers still on the bill. My son told me he yelled at him "No I can't tell your mom get another $1" so I sent my kid back with my card and my son said the Taj yelled at him over and over "NO! NO! I can't work like this! Tell your mom get another $1!" After my son comes and tells me this I'm upset and come in and ask Taj what's the problem, he said I can buy something and get cash back, and looks at me with this disgusted look on his face. I ask why he won't give me quarters to just use the vacuum that I just paid for and he tells me again to buy something and he'll give me cash back. I leave and come back in and ask who his manager is and he refused to tell me. He then tells me his manager is Victor after I asked why he won't tell me. A customer who pulled up after I walked out came up to my window as I was about to pull out and said I heard you need a dollar in quarters and offered me quarters. That means Taj was in there not only giving me looks thru the window but was talking about me to other customers after I left. I'll stick to Safeway and the Mini Drive Chevron if Taj will be working at the American Canyon one. read more

Glad others had a great experience with the car wash. Not the case for me. Went through the wash last night, paid for the $11 wash. Woke up this morning and found streaks and stripes all over the car. It looked as if air was used instead of water. I will say that when I went in today they were very gracious and gave me a fre re-wash. However I was met with the same results. Going elsewhere and will not be using this carwash in the future. A friend had a similar experience. 3 stars given because it's actually a clean, neat gas station but the car wash isn't that great. read more

Absolutely ridiculous customer service I waited in line for 40 min to get a car wash come to find out when I got to the front my card isn't being accepted. I have to pull out and go into the gas station I ended up telling the cashier that I had waited for 40 minutes and my card wasn't being accepted she proceeds to tell me yeah that's because you have to pay inside before you get to the car wash.. I asked her why they didn't have a sign at the beginning of the line so people knew instead of now me having to wait back in line all over again. She said there was a glitch in the system so you have to pay inside... and had an attitude like there was nothing she could do about it. When I asked her why they didn't post a sign up she said well we don't have a sign..I told her you could've hand written one if you knew there was a glitch in the system because I came this car wash before and I was able to pay at the box.
