To be honest, I love the car wash here. There's never a line when I go, and it's convenient located in a parking lot with not a whole lot of cross traffic. The gas is on the expensive side, but that's to be expected at most Chevron locations. Every morning I see them cleaning the pump stations and emptying the trash so it seems like they take pretty good care of the facility here. Good variety of snacks and drinks inside. Would recommend this spot if you're on your way to work or out of town. read more

**DO NOT USE THEIR CAR WASH** Unless you are extremely desperate, then go ahead. The drying system gives you a generous of 80 seconds but it is horrible and doesn't angle to cover majority of the car. There's either no water softening system or it's broken. If you want to spend hours cleaning hard water spots, this is your place. Don't come here until owner makes an announcement that they have made upgrades to the whole setup. read more

I told myself I would stop getting gas here due to their pumps never working for some reason their card readers do not work at all if you use Apple Pay or even insert your card it takes about five minutes to even read the thing and then your card gets locked inside even if you back up and use another pump it is super frustrating because this one is closest to my house and convenient, but I will never be going back here again such an inconvenience read more

Today i went in intending to get a car wash and I had the blue card ready for a free car wash ready to go. The girl informed me that "we are new owners and we don't accept those." So I walked out. That Chevron lost any business I might have there. If the girl had told me we are new owners and I will let you use those today . . as a courtesy, I would have continued my business with the Chevron at Balfour . .what would it have cost ? a little water, a little electricitiy . .No big loss . . in that respect but they lost a customer over a dollars or two's worth of water and electricity. read more

Paid $14 for a car wash. The system stalled with soap all over my car. Attendant (manager) gave me a $10 code to rinse it off. I didn't get the full treatment I paid for and asked for a refund. Was told "no refund". Not at all the service I used to get when it was Dallas Shanks. Will go back once to use the the rinse code. Then never again. She didn't offered to give me refund so I grabbed the other vacuum and she said that one is not working. Awful customer service. Brought in my car wash code receipt which expired about a week ago. They refused to honor it so basically I handed them $12. How does a car wash expire anyway? It's not like I ordered my Thanksgiving turkey there and didn't pick it up for a week. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well as Chevron corporate. I'm never going there again. Minus 2000 point customer service experience, the bathrooms always pretend to be out of service, lazy employee excuse not to clean up bathrooms. They love selling you their expensive gas though but you can't even wash your hands at this location. Their deli sucks big time. Avoid this location that is a shame on a brand like Chevron. There are so many other less expensive gas stations around with bathrooms up and running and excellent customer service, they also see each and every kid as potential criminals. This morning I went to this gas station around 5 am. I was greeted by one of the cashiers by the name of Tony. (Very polite and down to earth) I approached the other cashier an older woman who was clearly in front of a register stared me down and without a word moved the deli cookies in front of her register as a way to inform me she wasn't available to make transactions. So I was disappointed in the literal drip marks down the bottom half of my car. Top half fine, bottom half still dirty after I paid $10 for the middle cost wash. I politely asked to run through the wash again not for a refund, figuring I had rushed the first part of the undercarriage wash and it was my fault the car was still dirty on bottom. I'm a frequent user of this particular Chevron, the staff is courteous, always accomodating and have what we need. But I'm giving this 1 start only because I've frequented this station in the early mornings around 5 am the last 3 times. Each time, I walk in there, there's a blond curly haired guy working the register who smells like he hasn't bathed in a few weeks. I've asked to use my Safeway discount and Apple pay. Now I'm not sure what it is with him but i've had to repeat myself each and every time...step by step...today was the boiling point. Again, I asked for to use my Safeway discount and Apple pay, he processes my order but I didn't get my Safeway discount. I asked again to use my discount and he sounded as if he was half asleep and said "enter your number in" which I did....then it asked for payment. I put my phone up to the reader and and it wasn't taking it. I nicely said "I think you have a problem with the reader, it's not taking my Apple Pay." He looked at me and said in that sleepy voice "Uh, we just had this reader fixed" I replied, "ok, but Apple Pay is usually done on that reader over there...can we use that one?" We went round and round with this as he wasn't understanding anything about apple pay and kept saying that the credit card reader we were using was just fixed. I finally asked "does this reader take apple pay or not?" I got the same response, it was just fixed...I then asked if we could use the other reader...got the same response. I finally said to him "look, I came in asked to use my safeway discount and apple pay, if apple pay doesn't work, say it beforehand so you don't waste my time...this is the third time I've come in here and each time you stare at me...this is the first time I've heard about this reader like this." Then his friend was he was chatting with before I walked in decided to drop a comment which I will not repeat. I've used Apple Pay there numerous time at other times of the day...this guy either doesn't know how to use it or is just plain clueless. To the management there...train the guy how to use Apple Pay and tell him to bathe...he stinks. I ended up going to the one on Brentwood Blvd and used Apple Pay. read more

This review is for the cashier's and their customer service at this gas station. I seem to always be the victim of bad service. I am too nice as a person and as a business man to be treated this way. Their cashiers are very stuck-up and a**holes. One time I pulled in to get gas and didnt noticed a whole bunch of broken glass right in front of the pump and I of course had to run them over. I went to tell the cashier about the broken glass that way the next car or even some kid wouldn't have to deal with it. It is a big safety hazard (from my perspective) the lady's response was " we are not responsible if anything happens" OHH REALLY! just let something happen and we will see lady...obviously doesn't know common sense. I live a block away from here so therefore it is my more convenient gas station. Tonight I needed some air in my tires, I asked the cashier for some air and said NO. Because I didn't purchase anything. I was like WTF? dude I fill up here twice a week! but he didn't care. At least some gas stations have it posted that it offers free air/water to customers. this one straight up said "For Free air/water see cashier" and did I mention they charge ONE DOLLAR?? this place is nothing but stuck-ups, I am so upset at them. My $80 a week don't matter to them I guess...but on a bright note...their chicken tacos are the bomb! but this review is not for the deli, so I can't help them. My Audi needs a shower and my normal carwash was closed so I tried this one. Its touch-less so there is less chance of damaging your paint job. I don't trust carwashes that have those big spinning mop brushes that smack your car clean. Kudos to this gas station for this! My car left clean and shiny. They are average priced. They offer 3 different carwash packages at $7 $8 and $9. I chose the $8.00 package. Will definitely bring my Audi back for another shower. Clean car equals happy me! read more

Purchased a $12 dollar carwash a couple of weeks ago after filling up my tank with gas, went in to use it today now that the rain has stopped and not only is the car wash out of service again, but the carwash "expired." How does a car wash expire?? Im pretty sure my $12 won't expire. Went in to the store to ask for a new code and I was told they couldn't do it. Well we've been going here for years and based just on the principle of the most ridiculous, illogical and poor customer service we will head over to Tower Mart which is just down the street. This place used to be great. It's been here in. Brentwood as long as I've lived here. Recently they have had a string of rude cashiers. Absolutely no customer service or manners. I went in to buy a car wash and some gas. I waited patiently for 5 minutes. No cashier up front. I had to shout for someone to notice me. The cashier told me I should have just paid for gas at the pump! I guess he wants to be replaced by a machine! I come here every day and have no problems. But there's one guy that takes the ID law a little too serious. I got declined for lottery because my ID has a hole in it (I'm 20 years old) and he even Asked for my dads ID (who's 62 years old) just for lottery. I have been living a block away from this station for 12 years and my whole family with all of our cars have spent a ton of money there. My bike pump broke and I needed some air. Since I was rding my bike, I didn't have any money on me and they demanded 75 cents to turn on the air since I wasn't buying gas. I looked Dan square in the eye and reminded him of all the times I had bought gas there recently. Didn't matter, no bike ride for me. The next day, I spoke to Kim, the manager, and she said Dan did the right thing. Another time I needed air for my car tire and Dan demanded 75 cents again, even though he admitted that I had filled the car up there earlier in the day. Several of my neighbors have experienced serious attitude there too and now we all avoid the place like the plague. read more
