I'm sure living nearby is nice and convenient, because they seem to boast a lot of fare standard gas stations just can't be expected to stock (probably due to a lack of space... Michael's Market is like a convenience store (c-store), but it's loaded with beer, wine and tobacco items. It has a fountain area and wide variety of snacks and candy. For awhile it was the only neighborhood shop around. But now the Discovery Bay shopping center is right next door. Yes, I saw the Confederate flag. But the clerk was friendly and helpful. I was wearing my work uniform w/ ID. People with jobs usually have money to spend. Michael's Market is a well stocked c-store that can save you a trip down the road to the Safeway shopping center. Shell gas prices were about average for the SF Bay Area. Located on the corner of Discovery Bay Blvd & Riverlake Rd.
