Before entering, the attendant uses a hose to spray your grill, and protects your rear wiper by encasing it in a plastic bag similar to what an office building gives you to put your umbrella in on a rainy day. I've been going here for years off and on. Gas prices are crazy but it's always good when you can get .20 off through safeway. This is also my go-to for a car wash. The customer service is terrible here. The clerk talks very little, and nods alot. I was there last Thursday at around 430pm. I've only been to this Chevron a few times over years. I usually go to the Shell across the street, but that day it was completely jammed with cars. I thought $4.79/ Reg was reasonable for a Chevron right next to the freeway, so I drove in to fill up. There was only a few cars there, so the lot was very spacious. I went inside the food mart to survey the pogey bait (military slang for snacks and candy). I asked if they had plain Cheetos, and the clerk said "whatever we have." I stepped up to pay, and she said "ExtraMile Rewards?" I said no, and she just stood there looking at me. Holy shit. Do not come to this car wash unless you have over an hour of your life to waste or if you're ok with a crappy car wash job. I usually go to the shell across the street and I should have went there today. Their lines are wayyyyy faster and it does a better job actually washing your car. First time coming to this piece of shit wash. There was 4 cars ahead of me and I waited over 50 minutes until it was my turn. African American cashier with the cap is useless and doesn't help. Never coming back to this shit hole car wash. While the rave looking lights seems cool, this car wash actually sucks at washing you car. I got the Works Plus ($15). I normally get gas as well because they will discount your car wash, DEAL!!!! However, I did not get any gas today but I needed the wash. I never thought I would take the time out of my day to write a Yelp review on a gas station, but it was so egregious I must. I work by Mission Bay where the new warriors stadium Is going up, so the construction destroys my car every day on my passing home. My two usual go-to washes in Pacifica were closed, so I thought I'd give this a try. TERRIBLE mistake!!! 6 cars in front of me and it took ONE HOUR to get my turn. Sheesh...... don't get me wrong but I do like the fact that the car wash is touch less (no brush, or hoola dancing skirt kinda things washing your car) just water pressure. What's upsetting about this car wash at this particular gas station is that if there's 3 cars ahead of you, it shouldn't take over 30-45mins to be next. This location is more conveniently located than the other Chevron just down the road. The price between the two varies by a couple cents each time, but I usually choose to go to this location because there is less congestion between the cars. And for now at least, I'm a Chevron fan for the sole reason of being a Safeway club member and getting $0.20 cents off per gallon. The car wash line is always ridiculous...I swear, don't you people have anything better to do? People will wait up to an hour or more. I would never wait if there was more than 2 cars. He is always asleep when I'm trying to buy something at night. All ways he is sitting a chair close to the coffee and pastry and sleeping. Gas was fine. This is a review for the car wash. Cons: - Each wash takes 6 minutes, which is a long time when you're waiting behind 7 people. I started calculating time after it seemed to take forever for a few cars to go through. After I'd spent a little time and had already paid at the pump I committed myself to keep waiting but wouldn't come back. - When you're up next you're sitting at a closed "garage door" while the person in front of you is getting their car washed. There's nothing to tell you to enter your number as soon as you get there so the door will open after they're done. Instead, I waited for the door to open and got distracted while waiting. Someone in a car behind me had to tell me to enter my number to make the door open. The signs don't tell you that. I had plenty of time to read them multiple times. - The wash itself is OK. The drying isn't. You leave with your windows and car wet to pick up whatever's flying around. For $10 more I can be served faster at a full service wash AND get my interior completely vacuumed and wiped down, a far better use of my time and money. read more

I don't know why I'm writing a review about a gas station but I'm so upset about their stupid car wash! Came here today at 11 in the morning and puurhased the cheapest car wash package which was the $8 option. There were 6 cars ahead of me. Since I didn't have anything to do, I decided to wait because I assumed it would be only 3-4 minutes max in the wash. 6 minutes went by and the car inside the wash still haven't came out. 10 minutes in and the car was STILL in there! I got out my car and went inside the store to ask if I could come back at another day to use the car wash code. At least the cashier was very polite and said that would be fine. If you need a car wash, go to Shell right across the street. Even if the line looks really long, it goes by SO much faster than Chevron's. This is my favotite go to Gas Station. I work in SSF and live in SF so I pass this place almost every day. Lots of pumps, lots of room in-between for those drivers not paying attention. I come to this Chevron very often as I live near it. They have a great selection of snacks and drinks usually with some good 2 for 1 sales. The staff is always generally nice and says hi. Everything in the store is fully stocked. They are open 24 hours and will now have some good competition next door at the Shell once it is finished being built. For whatever reason the car wash always has a crazy long line for a mediocre wash. Pro tip: Pass on this car wash, go to touch less car wash on 87th street where they will clean the inside and outside of your car while you relax for just a few bucks more and worth it by not having to wait in that line. read more

This place is great. A lot of people come here from all over the places because it's right off 280. I happen to live right next to this Chevron so I'm here often. Just like any convenience store they have everything. The reason I'm even leaving this review is because of the staff. Every time I go in here I'm ALWAYS greeted. Everyone is always so happy, which is weird for a gas station but hey...I'm happy to get gas here now. They also have some decent coffee from Seattle's Best. So when I run out at home...I know where to go. The reason I give for and not 5 is because, although the staff is great, there have been a few times where the coffee is out and I have to wait for them to refill it...no big deal because they're awesome, but does get a little annoying when you want in and out but there's no coffee. But that just goes to show how many people come here for coffee. read more
