Actually have been here a couple times over the past couple years to get my car smogged per California rulez. Both times, the staff here have been happy and helpful ... not to mention fast (provided there are no crowds!)! I baby the heck out of my car, so I passed with flying colors both visits. I only say this because I babied the heck out of my previous car and I'd *still* get dinged (though not here ... I was in San Jose with my other car). This latest visit, I didn't even have to drive up onto the rollers! The diagnostic test didn't take more than 15 minutes for my sport SUV, and my data was sent straight to Sacramento which saved time for sure. Went there today to get a Smog check. The garage was closed. I went inside the gas station and asked the lady what time will the smog check garage open. She said it's permanently closed. There's no sign stating that. At least put a sign up so customers know that it's permanently closed! read more

Needed a smog for the first time in a long time and glad I came here! Was in and out in about 20 minutes, price was extremely reasonable, they gave me all the appropriate paperwork for the dmv, and the man who did the work was very friendly and seemed to be a pro at smogs, looked like he'd done thousands! My car was okay but I'd imagine he'd know what to do given his experience if anybody ever had difficulties passing. read more

DON'T COME HERE! I went here to do a smog check and the tech said the car's computer isn't ready. Came back for a retest after 200 miles of driving and the tech refused to Smog the car cuz EVAP monitor is not ready. California does NOT require EVAP to be ready. Took my car to another Smog garage. They tested my car and it passed! Went back to this place and asked why he refused to retest and the tech said "that's their problem" and went back watching to what ever he was watching on his cell phone. So I usually put gas here and today around 3:48 pm a short lady that works there decides to charge me $1 to put air in my tire. I always thought air was free if you buy gas. Anyways they lost a customer for that kind of greed. Of all my life living in California I was never charge to use air machine at gas stations. Stopped off at 24:7 to fill up my propane tanks for my gas grill. I want to see what value I would have by refilling my tanks rather than swapping out at the blue rhino cages at other gas stations. What I have found is that the refills at the propane tank are $3.99 a gallon. With a refill, it will cost around $20 a tank. There were a little bit of a cost savings with my two tanks, but what I also got by doing a refill is that they bleed out the excess air and so I get a full full tank of gas. It felt much heavier than what I get by swapping the tanks. In the end I have more value per refill! Also, the guys behind the counter are very friendly and helpful here. There's a smog Station available as well as filling up on regular gas and A convenient store inside. For me it's one stop shopping for the gas, friendly personnel and a candy bar for road. I needed a smog inspection for one of my 4 cars. I took my corvette to Fuel 24/7 star smog station on sullivan steet daly city. I was very satisfied with the smog technician Julio. Julio is very Professional and knowledgeable about cars. I was inpress with how clean the Shop was and that is telling me something is right. . I had to smog my vehicle but with an older vehicle I worry about passing and not knowing why . . . well, I failed the test a couple of other times at another location and was told to check out the smog station near the DMV in Daly City. Julio, checked out my vehicle, smogged it, failed it, but took the time to tell a knucklehead like me to start looking at certain areas without actually diagnosing the issue but it was enough to make me realize there "are no bandaids to make your car run well; realize you'll need to spend some money; do it right!" I can tinker but sometimes you need to ask for help. I passed on the restest but not after he took a short moment to explain how parts of the emission system work and areas I should concentrate on based on numbers I'd failed on. I ended up replacing the EGR valve (and it's Vacuum Switching Valve), all of the vacuum lines and the catalytic converter. I'll be back in a couple years but if Julio is off doing bigger things I'll be happy for him as he is currently a hidden gem at the Sullivan Ave 24:7! read more

My car wouldn't start and discovered under the hood the connector to the battery was loose. A good Samaritan nearby helped me out and I was able to find a gas station with a garage. After pulling up and getting out of the car, the mechanic asked what I needed. I told him and he proceeded to look for the right sized wrench. He found it and tightened it for me. I was so grateful I offered to pay him something but he declined. I filled up my tank and noticed how clean and well organized the place is and the gas was average for San Francisco so no complaints there. I'm very grateful to Julio who helped me out. read more

Got my 1985 car smogged here after getting quotes of over $200 for other smog shops, but $99 at this location. Costs a lot more to smog these older cars due to their outdated technology, but glad Julio worked a good price for me. The vehicle had troubles passing, but his recommendations helped a lot and couldn't have passed without his help. Horrible customer service, brought my propane tank to get refilled, turns out one of the workers BROKE it, brought it back to see if I could get it exchanged and they said they couldn't do anything about it since it's broken. The gas prices are extremely reasonable if not the lowest in the area, the station is always clean, staff is friendly especially Yuri. They have free air and water and parking on the side if you want to just step in to grab soda and chips. The they have a smog station on the side where I get my smog done every other year and it's always quick and convenient. The person running it is named Julio and he's nice, he went above and beyond helping me find air leakage in my tire and helped me fix it. read more

I had my almost 30 year old car smog checked with Julio. I have probably smog checked cars 20 times over the years and he is one of the best out there. I couldn't have wanted a better guy to do the work and I considered myself as having a very lucky day because of him. Julio was articulate and explained the process well. I found a $20 off smog check coupon on Craigslist for this place. I went in Saturday morning, 3/10/18. The good thing was that they were able to take me right away. I ask the guy, how much for a smog check? He tells me $52. I ask if that's including certificate and he says "Yes". I ask if I can use the $20 off coupon and he says, "$52 includes the discount" and shows me a sign that says their regular price is $72. Fine, whatever. The smog check goes fairly quickly and I go inside to pay. They charge me almost $60! Turns out the price DOES NOT include certificate! I will NEVER come back here for a smog check! They tell you one thing and charge you something else. I could've gone somewhere else and gotten my smog check for less than $50, INCLUDING certificate! read more

The signs no longer say Valero. It's a "Fuel 24/7" currently. The staff seems to be the same as before according to previous reviews. I came here to refill my propane tank and it was quick and easy. Just pull up to the propane station (there are parking spots on this side if it's not clear) on the side of the building and push the green help button. It's currently at $3.99/gallon. It was way better service than the 7-11 on 87th Street. Yuri is an awesome guy. He's down to earth, friendly, knowledgeable, and has great customer service. He got me in and out under 5 minutes. Definitely will come back to refill my propane just because of Yuri's customer service. read more

It's the time of the year where I needed to get my smog cleared. Went to this place down the street from Daly City DMV. Waited about 5minutes before the mechanic came to see me, looks like he was finishing up another customer. Must say, I was siked to see his tattoos. Big Fan of Anime and the mechanic was too. He said his name was Julio but I heard someone call him Julez must be his nickname or something. He really helped me out and gave me advice on my car and what my car needed. I mean I came there for a smog check but shoot came out with much needed information. The cool part was I know he wasn't kidding because he told he couldn't do himself didn't have all the parts and equipment. Anyways, it was a fast service and great one too. This review is only for the propane service. Propane is about $4/gallon. We have a 5 gallon propane tank and it is difficult to find a station that can fill it. We took it to an Olympic Station off of Junipero Serra and that guy had a dozen excuses why he couldn't fill our tank. It is probably because he was not knowledgeable. Also they charge a minimum of 5 gallons whether your tank needs that much or not. We then took it to a Union station on John Daly Blvd which had a sign that said propane tanks refilled. When we got there, they said that tanks are only exchanged and not refilled. They charge some exorbitant prices for an exchange and the exchanged tanks are in worse condition than mine. They appear pretty shady! Finally we went to this Valero station and was served by Yuri. No B.S. just quick and efficient service. He filled up our tank and it only needed 3.5 gallons and only charged us for the amount we bought. Yuri said that tanks are rarely empty and that they generally have some fuel in them before refueling. Also, he said that gauges that determine the volume are not accurate. This is certainly the place to go for an honest product. read more
