I went in to ask why and the clerk threw his hands in the air and said that he had been inundated with complaints for the same thing and that he always paid inside the store and not at the pump for the same reason. He told me to contact the store manager about the issue. The upshot is I paid $2.75 more than advertised. That happens a hundred times a day. This is a really bad way to do business.

When the technician arrived, I explained the issues and the codes I already had. During the inspection, the technician began deeper inspection work on the vehicle. I was not clearly informed beforehand that more extensive disassembly or work beyond a basic diagnostic could result in additional charges. Afterward, I was told the diagnostic would actually be $200 due to the depth of the inspection, despite originally being quoted $65. After discussing this, I was ultimately charged $75. I expressed concern that the pricing change was not communicated upfront. The owner later acknowledged that he should have communicated a pricing range and that this was a mistake on his part. I requested a copy of the diagnostic findings I was being charged for. The response indicated there was no formal report, but pictures and a summary were provided. Superb service! Got my truck stuck in some sand off the beaten path today. Right off the bat things were smoother than any other tow experience I've had. John answered the phone promptly, had me send the coordinates to my vehicle, and didn't mind the fact that I was going to meet him a small distance from my stranded vehicle due to poor cell coverage. Took one hour flat for him to arrive on the scene, on his way to us he even called from a gas station to ask if we needed anything such as food or water. It's only took 10-15 after arrival minutes to free my vehicle and John was awesome the whole time. Nobody looks forward to having to call for a tow or rescue, especially the cost. At a reasonable rate and with great customer service I will be recommending these guys to everyone who may need it.

This was super helpful because I am going on an expedition to cottonwood Arizona next week.
