I went here to get my car smog due to their convent location and cost. The staff was friendly and they got me in and out timely.

This review is for the emissions inspection service attached to the gas station. It has no separate listing, so this was as close as I could get. There are competing emissions places across Lawrenceville-Suwanee from each other; both are cheap ($13.99). However, from the one on the south side of the road, you are forced to cross I-85 regardless of which direction you wish to go. Also it seemed more crowded. The Chevron, OTOH, allows you to exit on Sawmill and turn either way at the L'ville-Suwanee traffic light. Also, this station has never had a wait (at least when I've been there). DO NOT GO HERE!!! I WARNED YOU!!! So today I decided to save few bucks and try this place to get my emissions test and what a big mistake it was!!! I got there early so line was not an issue with only 3 cars in front of me. I waited 15 minutes and they started the process on my car and when it finished he said the I did not pass because I needed a new fuel cap(SEE PIC). So I went straight to the dealer afterwards and replaced the fuel cap and waited in line again which was much longer this time about an hour. After and hour I had him test the fuel cap and noticed this time he had a Hispanic man assisting him who was super rude and got in everyone's face 5-6 inches without a mask or gloves and spattered spit on everyone's car window. So this time I passed and left but when I got home and noticed on the report they somehow screwed up my odometer reading from 60k miles to 660k miles(SEE PIC) but he claimed its not a big deal since the test was successful so no need to worry but according to google and GA emission website, it is a big deal and that gets reported to car-fax and other public auto reports. I told them to fix it and he went off and gave me an attitude stating he is too busy and I need to comeback! WOW! SO I SAID NO!I was persistent and waited few hours so he finally agreed to try to fix the problem. That is when things got even worse! He somehow modified my car records and VIN number in the state computer system and now my car was coming up as an Acura ILX instead of Hyundai Santa Fe(SEE PIC). I tried to save few bucks and and wasted 6 hours today and I am still calling around to see how I can permanently fix my VIN issues! SMH! read more

Come in here all the time to buy disposable batteries and today they sold me a defective battery that doesn't even work. Within 10 minutes of trying to figure out why it's not working I go inside and attempt to exchange it because I paid $20.00 for it. I didn't even want my money back I just wanted one that worked. The owner (from what it seemed like) had terrible customer service/raised his voice and told me no exchanges all sales are final after JUST purchasing it. The other employee who was a women that had originally checked me out agreed with me that I was just in there and she seemed very polite if only the owner was like her!!! And he still continued to go on. So, I took myself to starship on the other side of the highway to purchase one that ACTUALLY works after loosing out on $20.00. This place needs new management that is no way to handle customer complaints!! read more

The Emissions place next door (same owner as the Chevron and Food Mart) are simply awful. Horrible customer service, took one hour for what should have been a 5 minute emissions test. Spoke down to me regarding my car and odometer, and gave me an incorrect certificate, which was not remedied until I went into the Food Mart to grab the manager. An utterly terrible experience from start to end. There are plenty of other emissions testing places that are professional and won't speak down to you because you're a woman. read more

Do not go to this gas station. My regular gas station up the road was out of 89, so I leave and go to this location which had their price on the board listed for regular at $2.09, so no thinking twice I pumped my gas only to find out they charged $3.19 a gallon. I checked 6 other gas stations up and down the road including 2 other Chevrons and nobody's price was that high for 89 grade. Called them to see if they maybe set the wrong price by accident, you know 3.19 instead of $2.19 , which would put them within the normal range, but NOOOOO. The guy on the phone told me that's their price and if I don't like it to not go there and that they are all different businesses and they can charge whatever price they want. I am filing a complaint with BBB but also wanted to warn others about this place . I believe that they realized that the place right up the road from them was out of medium grade so they felt ok to gauge their price up. Be aware. read more

Gas station new and clean but prices reflected something different at the pump than what was on the sign. Had to go in and receive money back for fill up. $1.99 at pump $1.95 advertised. read more

I have been here 4-5 times for emissions only in last couple years. Never had an issue. Friendly characters. Quick and efficient. Never seen a line and only had to wait behind one car once. Worst service I've ever experienced from a Chevron employee. Twice. This is the Chevron with the smoke shop inside as well and the owner, I believe, is the worst. Bought a vape pen and it came without the magnetic adapter so I went back shortly after. The owner or the manager or whoever he was said too bad he couldn't do anything. I went home and I bought the adapter which was 3.99 online okay fine i got it just for $30 vape pen return so I wait for it to come in and then I go back to the store with the adapter and every item accounted for with my receipt. Bought on May 30, 2019 and trying to return on June 29, 2019 he said it wasn't within 30 days..... um... okay?! I said it is before 30 days he said they came back sooner I said I did and he said no there is nothing I can do for you and he was straight up rude asf. Worst store ever. read more
