The building looks like a an Indian pueblo, not some run-of-the-mill convenience store! I suspect that the owners live above the place. It's one of the tallest gas stations I've ever been to. It's located along the main road into town, right next to the Jemez Pueblo Indian Reservation Welcome Center, by some red cliffs. The soil here is so red, it looks like rust or the surface of Mars. The restrooms are located outside, in a separate cinder block building. They were clean. They have local events here, like selling BBQ plates for a cause. It seems to be part of the community around here. Not only do they have gas here, but offer water and air for the tires. Just watch your speed through here.

After perusing the Food Mart, I was frustrated by the lack of offerings and out-of-stock items. I also didn't find the customer service all that friendly. In fact a bit rude, so I refused to even get gas here. Good in a pinch, but nah. As long as my other places are open, I'll continue to skip this place. Yeah, they have restrooms, but I would just as soon recuse myself from any future and unnecessary rudeness and disappointment. Ample parking up front. Fairly clean lot and fueling areas. They seem to be competitive with their pricing - actually about $.10 higher per gallon that surrounding communities, but it is *kind of* an "end of the road" station.

It is an easy place to visit on…read moretrips between northern New Mexico and Santa Fe-I happened to stop in on a trip returning from Taos. The gas pump area is brightly lit, spacious, and has a large number of dispensers with the latest display technology. All pumps feature large LED displays and have eliminated physical buttons for gasoline grade selection and keypad entries. The pumps also accept Apple Pay or other NFC-based cards. Currently, payments are restricted to cards on the Visa or MasterCard networks-AMEX and Discover are not accepted. The store itself has a decent selection of snacks and beverages and there is also a franchised Fatburger restaurant on one end of the plaza. Overall, it's a clean and easy place to stop on road trips in the area. Note: if you're pulling a trailer, you'll want to enter through the street between the station and the Santa Claran casino to use the wide ramp into the station. Recommended.
