Decent Chevron location. This review is for has pumps only. We have never used the mini mart. The pumps and credit card machines have always worked on the few occasions we've stopped here. We usually stop to fill up when in town eating at the local Burger Bar. The gas station and parking lot are clean and pretty busy. They parking lot is easy to get in and out of. This place is just a sad place. It reminds of me how they say The American dream is dying that's what the whole town seems like. A lot of people lying to their self about their sad loser existence. Sorry. So I have been here to the Chevron about a dozen times in the last year maybe year and a half. It's conveniet. on my way and you just get off the fwy and its right there on their frontage. And then you get back on it and you'reon the fwy again. So I guess if you convenience, the place might work for you desperate. But the other review from November I just read maybe even desperate is noe enough? I will never spend another dollar here because of how nasty the people are. In their dying, rotting, creepy village, with all the badly run businesses hanging on by a thread. Yuck. Face it people there are not the best or brightest so Chevron does them a favor by being there. But Never another dollar. Such rude nasty people I got a real surprise. Like what do you think it's ok to talk to nasty and look down on person you don't know who is bringing money into your rotting, struggling ghetto town. That one male, with dark hair, an older boy maybe 20 or 22. I will see a news story about his overdose death in the news. You notice some things sitting in your truck eting. There is something off about this place. The whole town. Chevron is the only think keepig it from being a wasteland. I went to their burger place and it was sad. I would write a review but it was be low stars but the food was just OK and they were not Evil to me like two different Chevron people who sneer and snarl at me like I did something to them. This is a very reliable location that is almost open 24 hours! I've been stopping by here on occasion for YEARS and it's basically always been the same awesome place! For me drink selection is important and they usually have a great and wide drink selection! It's not like the inside is very big but it doesn't feel cramped which is nice! It also has tables if I remember correctly which is ALWAYS nice at convenience stores! Gas prices are DEFINITELY not the most expensive but they're also not the cheapest which is fine! It's also not that bad of a "gas station" which is good! I know that my friend that hunts or fishes every weekend always stops there to pick up stuff! Overall it's not necessarily the greatest gas station ever but it gets the job done and is reliable! Whenever I'm in Kalama (mostly to eat) I LOVE to stop by there! i was driving down I-5 going North when my lights all came on warning me something was wrong with my car. we pulled over in Kalama, Washington at a Chevron (we were out of the way nor were we blocking anything that could jeopardize their busines). I drive a 2021 and was not expecting anything to go wrong. Well, we live an hour away and had my daughter come get us until the parts stores opened in Longview. I called the Chevron and talked to a young lady and told her my situation at 4:45am when the store opened. I told her we would be there as soon as possible to fix and remove the car. When my husband arrived with a mechanic he saw our car on a tow truck. Now we are talking hours not days. I find it very unkind and unsympathetic for our situation. I will never do business with them from now on. read more

Easy I-5 access coming and going. Prices are normal. Subpar sponge and squeegee. And--this is why I review it--the gas pump handle was miscalibrated or something. Had to restart it literally 20+ times and still left 4 gallons shy of a full tank. It just wouldn't finish. They'll probably fix it long before I check in again to update this review, but if you double my time at the pump I'm gonna hafta let the world know. OK, I am done pouting. for the most part when I go in in the evening I get great service, but in the early afternoon is a whole different game, you have 3 workers gabbing in the corner, 1 worker spending way to much gabbing with a friend at the drive up window, and 1 person taking care of the patrons, 2 tills taking in no money, 1 till that is and about 12 people waiting for help getting a little bugged about the wait time. So knowing it was going to be a long wait I left for the Kalama Shopping Center where their was no wait time. Like i said in the evening it is a great place and fast. read more

Stopped here as the car was hungry for fuel, and the gas prices here are pretty reasonable, while we were getting the car filled, I decided to go in and see if they had Pepsi fountain products, which they did and they charged me a reasonable price on that, so ended up getting the car filled here for a good price, and my soda cup filled! This station is real easy to get to from I-5, and real easy to get back onto I-5 so I would recommend this place. I dont know what the other person was talking about in regards Shell across the street as its just I-5 read more

However, for me this clean and well kept little Chevron located in the quaint town of Kalama was located a bladder away from Seattle, WA, the start point of my drive. It gets 3 stars for being clean and friendly. The last star is awarded for saving the upholstery of my friends car. Cheer. read more

The nastiest hamburger I have consumed in a fortnight..... I understand this is a gas station, but still unacceptable..... Who yelps about a gas station? Well this one was spotlessly clean, smelled nice, was well lit, and Niki at the counter couldn't have been more pleasant. Easy off and on the freeway. They have a terrific selection of beverages and snacks. I come through here about twice a month. I will remember my positive encounter and definitely stop here again. read more
