Prices - gas prices here are exceptional. Very good. Access - the entry/exit for autos is cramped and too close to the pumps - on an average semi-busy day cars and RVs clog up here. Too many fools who cant recognize the huge one-way arrows plastered all over the pavement and enter the pumps the wrong way. Inside, lines at the cashier are long and uncontrolled, snaking around the store randomly. Prices for drinks/snacks are VERY high. Bathrooms were big, clean, accomodating. read more

Occasionally I have to drive to vancouver or Portland from Olympia and this is my go to gas station for many reasons. The gas price is fair, the station and restroom are clean, they have tons of souvenirs like your average Loves or Pilot stations so that's all good. But what I really like about this place is the junk food. They have an A&W next door so hello cheese curds and saudsy root beer. They also make fried chicken inside the station with all the fried chicken sides and it's a little pricey, but such a great option. The only thing they lack is a seating area to eat your fried chicken. I wonder if you can mosey on over to A&W and eat there because they also serve chicken strips. will have to ask next time because it's the only hing keeping me from iving them five stars. read more

The town is Castle Rock. This is their tourist attraction ~ a ginormous gas station that invites you to pump, eat & shop all-in-one. Sometimes more than not you can search for hidden Sasquatch souvenirs, if you can find them. Hot deli foods are fresh & tasty. Gotta get the tenders. Up to date, clean restrooms is commendable for the amount of traffic they move. Friendly neighborly service as you check out. I'll give a 3.... only because 3 out of 5 times i had a great experience. My water is out at home. Can't fix it until ownership changes hands.... so I've been coming down here from grand mound area for a week. Tonight is my first complaint. First off, the service at the register was short and almost no interaction. Very little words with no friendliness or patience at all. Then the water was not hot in the sink or shower. It was warm enough to shower, but lacked heat when i shaved and brushed teeth. Then the toilet tank is loose enough to fall off the toilet altogether. Then i are the guy at the register has no name tag on. I guess if u was going to such at work, I'd take if my name tag too so no one knew my name.... i like this station i hope not to have a trip like tonight again. I will never give this place my money ever again. Not only did they put an outrageous hold on my account after my husband paid for a tank of gas bit then they declined my card when I tried to fill up my own car. When I asked about it to an employee and informed her I still had 400 miles to drive she rudely said well that must be a problem with your bank then offered a very sarcastic sorry and walked away. After calling my bank I was informed of the hold the gas station placed and that it was in fact not an issue with the bank. Terrible costumer service for a paying costumer. 100% not recommended. read more

This is what Castle Rock needed, it's by far their nicest thing. Honestly, it's nicer than a lot of things in Cowlitz County. Where do I begin? It's right off the freeway, which is of course expected. Fast and easy access, but even without that it'd still be worth it. Unfortunately, it's the only thing in that part of town, so the second you pull in it's not "beautiful" or anything. But if you just look at the building, you may get the same experience as being on the road out of state. There's TONS of parking. It's insane how big the parking lot is, so much space to actually maneuver your car. Plus, I believe there's more parking spots behind the building in the separate DIESEL station! Instantly when you walk inside, you feel a grand scope. With high ceilings, and a wide room, space is once again not a problem. But I guess that's in the title. (By the way, how did we get a Space Age? There's not one for HOURS that I know of...) Now, this doesn't detract a point because I believe they're extremely new. But there were a few empty rows in the fridges. Disappointing to say the least, because they didn't have the beverage I was looking for. There's also an A&W connected. A stand-alone A&W! I'm a fan, and miss their fries. Ever since the Longview KFC/A&W got KFC's new fries in a couple years ago, they stopped selling A&W fries, and just giving you KFC's. I think that's all I can say for now. Time will tell, if the town tears the place apart. It may not stay nice for long. Or maybe it will, who knows. Overall, it's extremely nice and big. Enough space for anything and everything. Which means options, options on how many and WHICH gas pumps you want. Parking spaces. Food and drink. I unfortunately can't speak on the service, as they didn't have the beverage I specifically stopped in to look for. read more

DO NOT GET GAS HERE. I filled my tank up yesterday & my car broke down trying to get back on the highway. Had to get a tow and stay in a hotel because I live an hour away & it was 10 PM. When the mechanic could finally look at my car the next day, he said that it was the most disgusting gas he'd ever seen. Said it looked milky and there was definitely water in it. costed me $400 to get a flush and new gas. plus $200 to stay the night in a hotel. one tank of gas costed me over $600 read more

Located off of exit 52 in Castle Rock WA, this is my go-to truck stop when traveling south. I drive for a living and I'm always looking for the best deals on fuel. So far, Space Age has had the lowest fuel prices of any station in all of Washington state that I can tell and I literally drive all over the state as well as ID, MT, and OR. On top of amazing fuel prices, they have clean wash rooms, they offer a driver's lounge with laundry facilities and showers. The convenience store is stocked well with all types of snacks and beverages and best of all, they offer Krunchy Krispy Chicken! They could have a better selection of coffee but other than that I really have no complaints. read more

The A&W was what caught our eye. It is a great restaurant! We had Root Beer Floats in big frosty glass mugs! Yummmm! Wow so much to see, shop, and eat at this place! We stopped on our way past and were very impressed! I had never seen ready to eat hot tamales before, yum! They had Skippers chowder, a huge hot case of assorted chicken, hotdogs rolling along on the big machine, 30+ cooler doors of drinks! A nice lounge for trucker with couches, a big TV, an eating counter w/stools and showers nearby. The store was filled with all kinds of toys, gifts, clothing, auto supplies and neat liter plug-in type cooking and warming items for food (mini frying pans, slow cookers, drink warmer, heated travel cups...). It was fun to walk around and see everything! The staff were nice and helpful! We filled up while we were here. The island was neat and clean and gas price was good!
