I don't care for this location. Half the time the inside is closed to pay etc. Then the people that work at the carwash entrance which I don't think is really necessary unless I would need to call attendant when I'm actually having an issue say their there to help but I am capable of putting my own debit card in the machine and picking my own car wash. I actually thought I wrote a review for this place before, because I had a guy, maybe a year and a 1/2 ago who was giving me all of the information about a car wash and all I wanted to do was wash my car and he kept saying, well, if that was me, I wouldn't want to pay that, and I said, well, you're not paying that so, can I just pay for my car wash?! He was pushy stating I'm just trying to save you money and I said no more than once. I should never feel pressured at a gas station to the point where I don't even want to wash my car after that. Also i wanted to wipe my windows while pumping gas today with the little thing they have at the pump because I won't wash my car here, and now they're putting water in the buckets at the pump! If that was the case I would just literally do that at my house. Leaves streaks! Being cheap and having your staff try so hard to sell car washes is really the reason I don't come here .I'd rather go out of my way to go to a different chevron. read more

I would like to say that this location is conveniently located near the freeways and major shopping centers. And it is pretty spacious and clean, and not to mention they have their own car wash drive thru station! But I must give them the low rating due to HIGH GAS PRICES! I just paid $5.30 A GALLON last night! I would've went to Costco down the street, but unfortunately the Costco in La Mesa also doesn't have a gas station, and I was low on gas to drive to another station! But my friend told me that Costco gas was only currently $3.60 A GALLON! That's almost a $2 difference! GOOD LORD!!!! read more

Unorganized with the attached car wash AND outrageous gas prices. Normally, it takes $45-50 to tank my car cost me $63 here. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

BEST CARWASH! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have been getting my car washed here for years but I have noticed something in the past, maybe 6 months...the customer service has been above and beyond EXCELLENT! From the attendants standing by to assist the drivers with the pay kiosks to the person guiding us to the entrance of the wash, they are all smiley, friendly, and helpful. I am so impressed. Even if the line looks too long, try it out, it moves so fast! Great prices too! Shout out to Joshua who was fun and had a chat with me while I waited my turn. read more

Prices are falsely advertised. They're marked down with car wash, but the sign is small and you won't notice until it's too late. You'll end up paying 30 cents more per gallon than advertised price. Exit is terrible as well. I'm surprised there haven't been any accidents here. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would! Not only is this Chevron ripping customers off with their outrageous prices for gas (4.49 and they're not even in an expensive neighborhood like Carmel Mountain and Scripps Ranch and neither of these areas charge these prices) but the fact that the government hasn't stepped in to stripe this owner of his license to sell gas and then charge the POS owner with price gouging is just crazy! Anyone going here to get gas to support this POS needs to slap themselves in the face... Soapy Joes is legit but it does get crowded and can be hard to get out after ur done. read more

I saw what I thought was pretty high prices, but it was late and rather than driving to the Chevron about a mile away on Spring Street, I filled up anyway. My car only holds 12 gallons so imagine my surprise when I noticed the cost was $62 and change!!! Yes, there's some fine print about the car wash, but this should be considered false advertising. Most gas stations (in fact this is the only one that I've seen reverse it) put up the real price and give a discount for a car wash. I'm going to find out who to report this to. On top of that, I wanted to verify I'd been charged correctly, so I called the number listed when you google the station. A very rude woman from the answering service informed me that she only answered for the car wash, she didn't want to help me, and she hung up on me. How is it possible for the two to not be connected?? If I need a car wash or gas, I'll go anywhere else in town. And you should too.! read more

I have no idea why the posted reviews were terrible, because this gas station is definitely upfront about the gas prices. I understand ppl think its misleading and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but all I had to do was read the paragraph they have posted all over the place and the price on the actual pumps. My Vons number gave me an added discount per gallon. Furthermore, upon investigating the quality of Chevron's gas vs. AMPM/Costco/76/Shell, I found that so far, Chevron is the highest quality. "You get what you pay for". Be an informed customer, about your gas and what low-priced/low-end quality gas can do to your vehicle and the environment. My opinion is as follows: This Gas station has excellent services, from the two AA ladies working the counter to the Mexican gentleman working the car wash handing out towels and air fresheners (I lost my receipt with their names. I'll be back to update this review). The staff is efficient and always nice and or smiling. I never use "Public Gas Station Bathrooms" for a reason. However, I had no other choice. I walked into the bathroom and was in complete shock at what I found. It was so clean, AND smelled good. I have now made this my Gas Station and Car Wash location to use on a weekly basis. read more

I pulled into the gas station to get a car wash and vacuum my car and I noticed I had a flat tire I didn't know what to do I didn't know how to change a tire so if I can later I look up and there's a Johnmy standing there asking me if I needed help he change the tire for me was very nice very kind very helpful his name is Freddy he was in amazing he made my day got so much better I was freaking out didn't know what to do He made my day is great I love the place read more

I also fell for the gas prices. I don't usually go here, bit I was afraid I would run out of gas. Gas prices where almost 30 cents higher on the pump. Also, the lights where completely off and it was very dark and it felt very uncomfortable. I thought I was going to get mugged. I will never ever come here again. Misleading pricing... should be reported to APDC. Prices posted are only if you buy a car wash. It's .30 cents MORE per gallon if you don't buy a car wash, and they won't let you add it on after the fact. Poor form! I won't be going here again. read more

Went here after using the Shell on Dallas. It's better here, plus as an Uber driver, you can buy a bundle of washes or pay 15 a month for unlimited. Wash is pretty fast and happy about the customer service. Very attentive. Thank you!!! read more
