Brand spanking new chevron and extra mile in a new mini strip in a new master planned community. 12 brand new pumps on three islands. The extra mile convenience store is spacious and has lots of drinks. What's cool/weird/different is that instead of clear glass they have lcd screens on the glass showing what's inside and the prices. More often than not, I would not check Yelp reviews prior to patronizing a filling station. But reading them after the fact, made me feel a little leery about some of the employees who may work there. Apparently, some have anger issues! That being said, I just don't pay attention to gas stations along my way until the time comes when my tank is on "E" and in desperate need of a refill. Fortunately, this station was conveniently available right when I needed them!  Unfortunately, this station seems to have cornered the market of the Lincoln Sun City neighborhood, and seems to be the closest one around for the residents. That's probably why they can charge the higher prices and get away with it. But as far as gas stations go, they fit the bill as being a good, solid filling station with The Extra Mile mini mart, car wash, free air and water, which are always available for it's customers. They have a sufficient number of pumps, along with plenty of driving room and parking spaces.  I did not use the inside facilities, but I'm certain by the looks of things, the building, as well as the outside areas were maintained up to Chevron standards. Writing reviews about a gas station is not likely to be read by most people who are only searching for a nearby station and not particularly interested in individual experiences.  But as a loyal Yelper, I always feel compelled to write something about a business that I patronize. read more

This 5 stars goes only to KIMMIE!!! I don't get to see her that often, but KIMMIE is genuine compared to most of the people working here. She has built relationships with all the customers that come in, she's asked us how we are doing, remembers our names, where we work... I could go on and on about how amazing & wonderful she is but you guys get the idea. I hadn't seen her in months and when I walked in and she was finally working, she came around the counter and gave me a hug...I needed one that day, too.. she must have seemed it. I guess management was upright about it or jealous of the positive attention she gets, because right at that moment, they yelled at her to clock out & go home, and I mean they were RUDE about it. There was no need for the tone that manager used with her. It was rude to her and all the customers that could hear her. THANK YOU KIMMIE FOR BEING YOU! Not my favorite gas station by a long shot but the closest one to where I live, so I guess it's kind of a necessary evil to drop by once in awhile. To be fair, most of the reasons I don't like it are probably out of the hands of the day-to-day staff. One of the biggest turnoffs to me is the gas prices here are consistently some of the highest in the area. I've never really put a ton of thought into the science of gas pricing, but I'm sure it's some sort of supply and demand kind of thing. I don't think this station is close enough to the freeway to justify a freeway premium, so I can only assume the price is higher because it's the only gas station in the immediate area, so not much competition. For me, it's no big deal to go down to the Stanford Ranch area and save money - I'm usually headed past that area anyway. That said - when I have dropped in, I can't say that I have any complaints about the cleanliness or staff. The place seems to be pretty well managed. I don't drop in a ton because I'm out and about late at night after they've locked up the doors more often than not (which is in itself disappointing - this isn't a high crime area - but whatever). read more

One of the worst Chevron Ever. Stopped in here on my way down to Roseville, I want to get a car wash and gas. I was 3rd in line, the 1st car took forever to wash the car. There was a problem with the 2nd car the one right in front of me. The car wash was not working correctly but the guy working at the Station came out to help the young woman. He made everybody backup so she could re enter and get her car washed. It was my turn I did everything correctly when I went inside the car wash. It wouldn't work for me. I called the station to get help the girl told me I had to drive out she would give me a re-wash and then I had to get back in line. Nobody came out to help me. Maybe it's cause I'm an older white woman. All I got was attitude and unprejudice. I was pressed for time as it was. I'll never come back here again I recommend you never go here either. The only good thing is at least I could pay using Samsung pay and there weren't any smokers hanging around. read more

This place has been my go to for gas for the last ten years. It is always way cheaper than any other place close to me and it's easy and convenient to fill up on the way out from visiting people in Sun City Lincoln Hills. I've never had any bad interaction with the staff as I always use cards on the machines at the pump. If you're looking for a quick way to fill up and get to use Chevron gas-this place is it! read more

After purchasing gas, my husband walked into the store to buy a drink. The clerk working there started yelling and it took a moment for my husband to realize she was yelling at him. She yelled at him "Can't you read, stupid" referring to a sign on the door stating that masks were required. Before he could explain to her that he had health issues and couldn't wear a mask, she yelled at him to get out of her store or she would call the police. He was so mortified, he turned around and left without getting the name of the clerk. If this is how customers are treated, then we will not be giving this establishment our business. read more

Gas station with car wash always in immaculate condition. Gas prices always 10 - 20 cents higher per gallon than ARCO. Lots of pumps, never a wait to get an available pump. read more

I was just there putting gas in my car and a guy was complimenting me on my car, then one of their employees wearing maroon and a orange vest came out and started yelling at him for soliciting even though he was just being nice to me and we were sharing stories about how we learned how to drive manuals ‍ after I left I saw in my rear view mirror that she came out again and started walking towards him to probably yell at the poor guy again read more

This is by far the worse experience I had at a gas station. The cashier named Rhonda was so rude. She was giving attitude to every customer in there. She was calling me names and threatened to call the police on me and another customer. I will never ever come back to this Cheveron ever. read more

Mixed customer service. Meagan is not good but John is fine. Too bad he's going to a different location soon. Gas always cost a lot more here than most other stations. Electronic coupons stumped Meagan. She wouldn't call management for help "because he had already worked overtime that day" and wouldn't honor anything other than a paper coupon because "her drawer would be off." Best thing going for this place is it's convenience to the highway and lack of competition. read more

Horrible customer service went in there at midnight and some worker, I unfortunately didn't get his name, but as I was looking for snacks to grab for the night he was giving me such a dirty look until I left. I noticed it so much that I actually didn't get any snacks and said can I get 20 on pump 5. He took my money and didn't say anything and just kept giving me a dirty look. Next time ill just go to another Chevron lol. Also Meagen during the day used to be so stuck up she's actually starting to lighten up a bit now lol. Keep up the good work. I stopped in here this morning at 9:00 to get gas. I was 2nd in line and was paying particular notice to the guy in front of me because he had on construction clothes yet purchasing a 12 pack of beer. The cashier (young blonde girl) asked if he wanted to contribute to the "children's' fund" or something like that and he gave her a dollar. I saw her stuff a little of it in the slit of the plastic container at the register with most of it sticking out which I thought that was odd. When the guy turned around to leave the dollar was no longer there and she was putting a bill in the register. Hmmm. It was hard not to say anything but I didn't. I won't be patronizing that Chevron in the future. If management sees this you may want to watch this employee. I gave it one star because you had to give it something. read more

Just had an awful experience at this store. Stopped by to get some scratchers and the cashier named Rhonda behind the counter refused to sell them to me because i had my kids with me. Like i was buying tickets for some random street youths. What an absolute idiot. Rhonda then proceeded to start screaming at us to leave, f bombs left and right...or she would call the cops. The look on my kids faces was abject terror. Never stepping foot in this place again, and ive spent a fortune there in the last year. Absurd. Thank you Rhonda, always makes me feel better knowing there are people in the world like you, and I'm not one of them. You are a miserable human being. Wasn't at all surprised to see on yelp I'm not the first customer you've driven away from the store. Yet the manager continues to let you cost Chevron money. But rest assured corporate will be hearing from me about this operation and frequently if need be. Children should not be terrorized at a gas station. And to the manager Omar who allows this to continue to happen...you clearly don't have the hiring skills or management skills necessary for the job. Very sad I went in to exchange a warm red bull that Mandy had sold me yesterday and for some reason she would not exchange it for me I wanted a cold one. The Redbull had all the same numbers on the SKU it was the same size . she asked me to leave her store because she had a line and to quit arguing with her I was not doing anything of the sort I was being so nice please look on your cameras. I had people behind me in the back of the line asking Mandy why she wasn't doing it I don't understand very poor customer service I asked her for her managers name and she would not give it to me And poor Hal... He is so quite I had to ask him for the managers name and he was reluctant to say Amber. There Are so many people in this world looking for jobs who will do the jobs correctly and instead we give jobs to people who are rude and mean and hateful and don't deserve jobs it breaks my heart to say that.... but Mandy she does not deserve to treat people that way!
