As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted with a warm smile from the clerk and then, Andrea, the pharmacist. I needed to fill a pain Rx and was prepared for a refusal, thanks to the FDA's criminalization of pain patients, doctors and pharmacists that treat them. Instead, Andrea chose to get to know me. She asked why I had moved to Lincoln and if I liked it here, where I lived before, and what my medical conditions were. I know that this information is necessary, it's called a treatment plan, but the way I was asked for this information was more like meeting a friend, not an interrogation to be judged. I appreciate this more than I can express. I will be transferring all of my medications to Lincoln Pharmacy and truly look forward to them fulfilling my needs as well as building a professional friendship with these lovely people. Most of them are kind, helpful, and know me by name because I'm there so often. This review is not about them -- it's about CVS corporate and the way this place is being run. The touchscreen register systems are awful and constantly unresponsive. Employees have to keep tapping the screens over and over just to ring people up, which adds several extra minutes to every transaction and creates unnecessary stress for both staff and customers. There's no reason a company this large should have equipment that works this poorly. On top of that, dealing with my son's prescription prior authorization every month has been exhausting. Patients should not have to act as the middleman between the pharmacy, insurance, and doctor's office over and over again. It honestly feels like CVS is cutting corners on staffing, systems, and support while the employees are left dealing with the frustration from customers. The workers deserve better than this. It's frustrating for both staff and customers, and it really needs to be addressed.

When I got home I was charged more than the full price. It's going back. Why didn't I check the receipt before leaving? Good question. I was checking a dozen other items where either their App didn't work properly, the pricing had three options for the same item, or the code never registered. I really like this store. I'm not sure what kind of remodeling they're doing inside the Walmart but if they wanted to improve this location they should concentrate on making sure it has stock on hand, not on remodels (the Walmart on Pleasant Grove is also going through a remodel so I'm guessing someone in Walmart management signed some sort of deal with a company to do all of the stores). They consistently go above and beyond to help their customers. Recently, I had a situation where I was short on money and had to use some $2 bills that I had been saving for over 40 years. The receptionist, Dawn, noticed how much those bills meant to me, and thoughtfully set them aside. After I was able to pay another way, she returned them to me. It was an incredibly kind gesture that I will never forget. In today's world, it's rare to find people who care enough to do something so thoughtful. I think their prices are reasonable too. If you have been prescribed a medication such as Gabapentin for your pet (taste is awful) you can get it formulated to a pill or to a flavored liquid. I need to go when the fewest people are there, otherwise it feels like a horror movie... all those people running around with multiple carts overfilled with stuff, some actually frantic. Besides who really needs six jars of super sized mayonnaise unless you have a family of twelve or more? However, there are some redeeming factors to shopping here, and possibly getting a good deal. This still remains the ONLY Costco in the area I'll visit for otherwise being run over by a crazed shopper with a full pallet of merchandise. So. Some great finds- We got two new good quality camping chairs for the outdoor concerts we attend at a rock bottom price! Woo hoo! Then I found a large container, yet still manageable, of my favorite snack treat, Aussie Bites, at a great price. Please don't buy them out!!! The maple syrup is good quality and less expensive than anywhere. The paper goods can also be a very good deal. Just have a big storage space for a gazillion rolls of toilet paper. They were unfortunately out, or no longer carrying, two other favorites, the top sirloin hamburgers and the Korean dumplings (an easy and quick, delicious treat). I recommend perusing the aisles as one never knows what really interesting product or bargain is lurking in the depths of this monster store. Oh, and if you want a ginormous TV that will never fit anywhere or a casket, just in case, they have those too. Plus, it's fun to count how many giant SUVs are parked in compact parking spaces to be as close to the front door as possible! After all, there's enough walking inside! The crowd has usually been lighter than other Costco locations, which makes getting in and out easier. I think part of that is the location. Sierra College Boulevard does not have a huge commercial strip or much dense housing beyond the two nearby shopping centers and small neighborhoods, so the store feels calmer than the bigger warehouses. If you like Costco but not the chaos, this location has been the one I keep coming back to.

Didn't use the pumps, came for the automated car wash for the car. Someone told me that to remove the ash due to the fires you need to go brushless. Makes sense. I drove all over creation to find a brushless car wash that was in operation. Reading another review, this location has the most up time (rarely out of service). Go inside and pay. Much easier. Then when at the computer screen entering your code, skip the add on services. If you want brushless, select the mid-level service "Delux Clean" currently $10. They also give you a frequent card (no extra cost). After 4 or 5 paid washes, you get one free. And it's usable at their other locations preprinted on the back. And you'll need to go inside to get the card punches and redeem the free wash. Liked the timer telling me how much time was left on wash and dry. Then I could move at a pace I liked for washing and drying. Bring a chamois or towel and tuck into a shaded space in nearby parking lot to finish off drying and wipe down any areas missed. Such as behind gas cover, trunk, doors, etc. There was just enough moisture on the car and my faux chamois wiped down the missed dirt behind my wind jammer on the roof. Car wash does a very good job for being an automatic system. Only 2 cars ahead of me and it went fairly quickly. Price was good. If I lived in the area I'd be a regular for the car wash.
