Gas prices are usually high here due to its prime location along busy Lone Tree Way. The C-store used to be a Circle-K. I'm not 100% sure since they covered up the Circle-K branding. I went inside to buy snacks, and the interior looked a bit different. The clerk was busy talking on his phone, and I found it annoying that he doesn't even make eye contact or acknowledge a customer. KKC fans, they serve Krispy Krunchy Chicken (KKC) here. (Tip: if KKC is too salty, try putting hot sauce on it. The saltiness goes away). I will probably stop here again due to its location.

I'm just going to say the staff members there and simply awesome…read more I unfortunately locked myself out of my truck there with my phone/keys inside so when I went in explaining my situation they offered a phone for me to use so I can call whoever I need to get in touch with. They never rushed me and gave me the address while I was on the phone and when I went outside to wait, one of the staff members came to me to let me know the person I was on the phone with called back with the accurate arrival time. They even offered to let me stay inside the gas station as long as I need to since it was hot outside. Very grateful and appreciated their courtesy!!

Even compare compared to some of the cheaper gas stations. Normally they don't open till 6 AM. The guy was telling me that a lot of times he opens up at 5 AM at this location. Its typically 20-30 cents cheaper (or more) than the national brands and usually is the cheapest in a any given location. They are setup to be super efficient with long hoses so even if you driving an SUV and get on the wrong side you can pull it over. Plus they have a middle lane allowing you to hop ahead. To make it more foolproof, there is now a system of lights to tell you if a spot is open so you can jump around a car that is still filling. Its always credit only and 89/91 octane no middle stuff. This particular Costco Gas had plenty of pumps and despite it being a weekend and packs it moved along nicely. It also help that they attendants are quite nice and assist those who may be a bit confused etc.

"Bonfair Market #29" City - Pittsburg Gas Price - $3.09 for Unleaded Price -$20.00 Review: As a "Car Parent" you know what does and doesn't work for your vehicle. And gas really can make and break your investment. I know what I trust as far as gas goes and now in days "Fillers" have even made their way to the gas market and I don't want that in my car at all. I usually dabble between "Shell" and "Chevron" as far as gas brands goes, but "Valero" definitely comes in at a third and it's pretty good gas, at least for "Bleu". This "Bonfair" location and their sister store in "Concord" off Solano, both get their gas supply from "Valero" and that for me is a good thing. "Valero" as far as the "Bay Area" goes uses "ExxonMobil" gas (as they bought out the Benicia Refinery) and now operates over 350 gas stations under the name and distribute to other independent retailers. "Valero" being an independent operator themselves, is one of the biggest independent gas and oil operations in the U.S. and UK. Cool little brief history lesson huh? How I know "Bonfair" uses this gas is because I asked :D and I decided to research a little. And with "ExxonMobil" being providers of "Top Tier Gasoline" guess what that makes "Valero"....you guessed it.. hopefully. My car depending on price usually takes between $30-$40 if on "E" (not the drug) but I usually always fill at the half mark, so $15-20 on average. My I don't drive alot, so the gas lasts really well in my car (Honda Civic) and for that I'm pretty glad to consider this my gas station of choice. Plus at the price point of $3.09/Unleaded (see pic for other prices) for right now I can't go wrong with "Bonfair" In Closing: "Bonfair Market #29" is a great option not just for gas, but for your other quick market needs as they have a selection of snacks, drinks and other simple items you may need. My reason for the one less star is because....."They always are running out of gas" or "Their systems are down" pretty annoying sometimes, but the service here is pretty good. At the end of Railroad in Pittsburg, before heading down Kirker Pass sits this little gas station, I would say if your car needs a fill up and you're in this area, give them a try.

{Review during Covid-19}…read more I want to say it's really cool that someone put a gas station with a food mart out in a Discovery Bay neighborhood. I'm guessing this gas station & food mart has been here longer than that new shopping center down the road. It has lots of room for parking and getting around the single gas island. The island has only 3 pumps, and 1 was out of order. The food mart was very organized and the clerk was nice. I asked if I had to wear a mask inside, and the clerk said no. I guess everyone got their Covid shots, because no one was wearing a mask. Oh well, I'm not the mask police. Nice location, prices are a little high. But that's the price of convenience.

They do a good job of keeping people from hanging out front and they care about the store. I've seen them do nice things for people. They've done nice things for me. It's clean, open when it's supposed to be, they have an ATM, they used to have donuts from Al's, but I don't see those anymore. that's no big deal, I don't need donuts anyway. It's a good place with good people. Your next closest option for a convenience store is 7-Eleven and that is like The Walking Dead and I feel like I take my life into my own hands every time I walk through those doors, don't do it.
