My favorite are the Lucas tamarind candies. It's also great when I've forgotten something and need it on the road like baby wipes or batteries or any other random things. They carry A LOT of stuff. Even TV dinners if I want something salty and heavier. Plus they have a microwave you can use to heat up your food right away. They also have plenty cigarettes, pipes, and beer which I usually see a lot of truckers stopping by to pick up. For a small convenience store, it's very clean and organized and the owners are generally really helpful.

I've never been sure whether the place…read moreis called "Adams Market" because it's at the intersection with Adams, is called "Adam's Market" after someone named Adam, or is called "Adam Market" as it's sometimes rendered in other online results. The great thing about this place is the owner, who is jolly and sarcastic and funny, although his wit does tend to run a little absurd and not a little dry. Almost as great, though, is the selection of Middle Eastern foods. It's a great place to stock up on boxes of mahmouls for cheap, or to get tins of stuffed grape leaves, which are a vastly better snack than the paltry selection of heavily-processed junk food. Fresh, but limited, but huge, baklavah. The real wonder, though, is a small row of sodas in the back. Not the fancy burdock-and-ass English stuff, but the selection of Lebanese fruit sodas by Kazouza, the best of which is the watermelon. None of them are HFCS-loaded crap, but the watermelon nonetheless captures the fanciful watermelon flavor of something like a Jolly Rancher without being too cloying (at least, for the first few bottles.) It's so wonderful. Like, it completely changed my view of carbonated beverages. It's also a reliable place to get ayran, which is good when the Kazouza gets too sickly-sweet. Also, the brand of ayran they stock is also very useful as a yogurt culture, and at least with the milk from my goats that I tried it with, it resulted in some absurdly-thick and wonderful stuff. Some of the staff other than the owner can be a bit grumpy or difficult, and some of them are quite sweet and outgoing. Still, it's hard to fault the gruff ones. It's the most centrally-located and only late-night convenience store in downtown Olympia. It's a great place to rub shoulders with people who are drunk at noon and people who are far gone in the middle of the night. It really functions as Olympia's only Middle Eastern market. International Spice and Halal used to carry much of the same stuff, and since it closed and its owner moved on to other things, this is the best place to go. And it does a good job of that, while also doing a good job of being a convenience store. A very cool place. Near and dear to my heart.

February 22, 2026:…read more Well, it is convenient, no question about that. But their prices are extremely high compared to our 3 big stores around the area. But in a pinch or a hurry it's a great place to pick up something you need but do not want to drive far to get it. Clerks are very nice, store is clean and as much as it feels bad to have to spread the word, it's Closing. Their landlord gave them notice to be out of their location by the end of February, 2026. There are many other empty buildings up and down Commercial Street but I have heard nothing about relocating the store. As of yesterday, February 21, 2026 everything was marked down 40%. Looks like we can say goodbye to them soon.

Located just outside the parking lot at great Wolf Lodge, they have set themselves up nicely for those tracking back home, and who need to fill up before doing so. In addition, for those of us who need to Stock up on ice cream before going back to the room, they also feel that niche as well! After my better half requested some Ben & Jerry's, I figured this was the best place to look and boy was I right! They had a dozen or so flavors of everyone's favorite Carb with plenty of candy swimming inside. End of the day, anywhere that I can buy tonight dough and phish food is okay. They also had a surprising number of microbrews available. It was about 8 o'clock in the morning when I discovered this, so not a lot of beer was procured, however it's good to know for next time! We did find that the hot chocolate was particularly good, with a sugar to liquid ratio that was considerably higher than expected, much to the delight of all of the kids! As with the neighboring restaurant, this place was quite the surprise in an area where I assumed everything was going to be severely overpriced and the selection limited, simply due to the clientele. We were pleasantly surprised with what we found and will definitely plan to hit them up again in the future!

This station was hopping in the morning with what seemed like locals rather than tourist. I didn't go inside, just got gas. I was just happy there was somewhere to get gas as my tank was running low. Their new line of discount fridge and freezer items includes meats, cheeses, yogurts and more! They carry in-season local fruits and vegetables as well as freshly baked pies. They are open 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. They are closed on Sunday and Good Friday.
