It's right off the exit from I-5 North! This location has everything beside gas, clean restroom with toilet seat covers. I can only speak for the ladies restroom. Subway, Cinnabon, McDonald are all on site. I saw counter with freshly baked pizza. They also had fried chicken as well. read more

I had a job interview at the Tumwater, Washington Pilot location at 3pm on December 17th, 2021. I met with the first manager, who I believe was named Brian, who told me about a few positions they were hiring for, including a maintenance position. I had originally applied for a coffee attendant position, but agreed to work another position, including maintenance. We talked about it some more and I told him about my previous job experience, including 10+ years working in a horse stable. I had a tour and observed another employee work, then they had me go talk with CJ. CJ immediately told me that I would be hired as a cashier. I told him about the conversation I had just had with the other manager about the maintenance position, and he told me that they don't hire women for maintenance positions. I asked him if he knew that was sexist, and walked away to find the original person I had talked to. I told him what happened and he did nothing to resolve the situation, so I left the store. When I got home I called the store and CJ answered, and identified himself as a manager. I asked to speak to another manager, and spoke with Brian again. He told me it was regrettable that he had told me that, and told me that you do employ women. I think it's absolutely disgusting that a company would allow a manager to tell prospective employees that they won't be hired for a specific position because of their gender. I love coming to pilot and flying J stations they have pretty much every amenity you could want and then some in their coffee is great and their prices are good and it's easy to get in and out of and the restrooms are always clean and I just always appreciate this place. read more

If you are either on your way north or south of Olympia, and you need a quick rest, you need look no further than Exit 99 off I-5 at the Pilot Truck stop. Unless you know right and where to look you will miss seeing it from the freeway due to the trees. There is a large fuel station, and also a truck fueling station, which if you are like me and pulling a 35' trailer it's the perfect place to pull into and top off your diesel. Getting into regular stations sucks! Inside you have all of your standard convenience store things, plus cool travel gadgets like portable heating elements and coolers while traveling. Additionally you have two food options in a Subway and McDonalds. Add to that you can have some Cinnabon hot cinnamon rolls. A nice thing about the McDonalds is it has been upgraded with plies at every table so when tracking you can charge up your electronics or play your movie on a computer or tablet for the kids without killing the battery. The restrooms are kept clean and tidy, there are showers and laundry facilities as well. This is truly set up well. So, if you are looking for that place to stretch your legs, grab a quick bite to eat, or fuel up, you are best to stop here and take care of those needs. read more

If you are a professional driver or a casual traveler, this is a great place to stop...during the day. This leads to the 2-star rating. They have a person working on the evening shift that has some sort oF chip on her shoulder. I've heard her speak rudely to customers, make very rude and combative announcements and she has been rude to me as a customer. I questioned a problem with the app and asked for help, possibly to speak with a manager. I'm told she is one and I asked about an offer. She took several minutes, complaining about the slow Pilot Center internet speed to bring up the rules of the offer. She quotes the rules to me,, incorrectly, I mention that and ask for a manager again, she refuses and I say I'd like to complain abouT the app, what is your name? She covers her name tag, scoots behind the tall counter and tells me I have no right to it and she is not going to play my game. I said you're wearing a name tag and she tells me I'm not going to know her name and she won't allow me to quote her in any BS games. Funny, I have a pic of her, for validation with the company. The complaint was going to be with the company about their app, now it's become a review of poor customer service and unacceptable treatment of customers. I've seen her in action before and assumed it was grumpy truckers. Lord knows I was wrong. How disappointing. I will not patronize a venue intent on treating customers with disdain. See for yourself and make your own decisions, I'd advise avoiding the evening shift. read more

They worry about who is parked in areas that are not allowed than actually keeping there restrooms clean. They get wood when trucks park in fire lanes. Honestly there is just a lot of trucks on the road and not a lot of places to park on the I5 so you cant really find anything after 6 or 7 or else you have to reserve a spot and maybe that runs out of spots too. read more

So it's really incredible coming in on a Sunday evening. Today being September 4th. I have never been in this parking lot when it wasn't full to the brim and overflowing with so many trucks it was really difficult to find parking I came in today and to my total shock more than half the parking lot is open I asked the cashier what's the cashier what was going on normally Sundays are very packed because everyone is prepping to go out Monday morning. He told me he had no idea either because it had actually been like this for an entire week. At least it gives everybody a chance to give proper attention to the parking lots as well as the inside amenities making the store even cleaner and better prepared than usual. read more

Well this has to be one of the worst pilots on the west coast first of all I went to the bathrooms the bathroom doors slam shut on their own so loud they sound like someone's firing a gun indoors then I went to get a subway sandwich that they have in there and I literally went to a safeway where a guy with one arm made a sandwich faster then the guy working and I wanted my sandwich toasted not scolding hot I bit into the godamn sandwich and felt instant blistering in my mouth read more

All these years I've been driving up and down I-5 and I never knew there was a Pilot Travel Center hidden off this exit. Crazy! Get gas, take a piss, do laundry, shop for various trucker lifestyle accessories, and get on down the road. You can do it all here. This is the worst gas station I have ever Ben to in my life !! First of all the only gas you could pump was regular and if you don't have an extra $151.00 in your account dont go here!! They charged my account $151.00 and declined my card because after the $151 I was 87 in the negitive. That's not the kicker... could take up to 72 hours for them to return my money. We used a Bank of America card first and it never charged it But it was declined because there wasn't the premium gas available. Only charged my visa pay card.And the McDonald's had no problem with my card right before I tried getting gas. read more

Would give zero stars if possible due to customer service. Pricing for monster and rockstar is labeled 2/$4 throughout the two cooler cases those products are in. There are no exclusions stating you cannot get one rockstar and one monster for the advertised price. The cashier told us no, and when I mentioned that the sign was for both cases, she walked back to check and then had to call Chris over her intercom to see if they would honor their false advertising. My husband loves to stop at this place... Wish they had better signage on the freeway. We pass it 1/2 the time and he gets so irritated.

This is great place to get gas. It has a Mcdonalds. It has a Subway restaurant as well. The place is clean and well lit. The parking lot seems small in the morning rush hour. The service staff are good people. They are always helpful and the place is well stocked. I go here every day to fill up on gas and drinks before work. Hope this helps. read more

Well, nothing has changed. Back lot fence still has a hole in it, lot is filthier than before, just an all around craphole. No boiled eggs or other healthy snacks on the shelves...looks to be sold out and not restocked. Trash cans brimming over with trash as usual. And your paid parking is a rip off. I stop here for fuel because the price is just about the lowest in Tumwater. I usually first drive to the back lot to fill my beater with air and water, then slowly drive around to the gasoline pumps. Never had problems with traffic flow this way. It is continuously busy though. read more
