This used to be the last place to get cheap gas before heading into CA. Now they have it about $1.50 higher than my local gas in LA. Everything in the store is expensive too. The gas was higher than in CA which bummed us out because we stopped thinking it would be cheaper but the bathrooms were clean & the employees were very friendly. We were here March 28th. 2015. The coffee is more HORRIBLE than ever! I did not think it was possible for it to get worse, but I was wrong. The vanilla cream is BROWN! The coffee itself is horrible. mix the two and it is an experience I do not care to repeat. Other customers obviously feel the same, because the vanilla cream reservoir was over flowing from people dumping out their coffee. We dumped ours out in the soda machine that has a drain. Summary: Water machines steal money. Starbucks charges $1.50 for a cup of tap water of any size (no matter how much money you spend on coffee)--walk across the street to McDonalds for espresso and frappes. We thought were in luck when we found not just one but two air/water machines. There was an out of order sign one so we used the second. It accepted our $1 and gave us air but no water. When I requested a refund from Nick, the manager, he said it required a code. I noted the instructions (which we followed exactly) said nothing of a code and there was no keypad. I thought this would be a good place to fill up at Nevada prices before getting back into CA. Plus, we've stopped here before and I don't remember being so shocked. But in the end, we paid $1.40 more per gallon than on the strip, and 30 cents per gallon more than coastal San Diego prices (where I filled up again when we got home). Stunningly overpriced. I love this Chevron location and I had up here EVERYTIME I travel from Nevada and California. The pumps are always tidy and stocked with fresh supplies to clean your windshield. The prices are decent and a beater stop before Sloan or Jean. For you ice cream lovers, there is even an outdoors pick up won do for the Dairy Queen. Starbucks, Subway, and Qudoba are the food options inside the gas station. I've eaten at all three and I'm able to have vegan options from all. The Starbucks has great service, but are slightly more expensive. The bathrooms are always clean and fully stocked when I visit. Don't forget to try your luck at a few slot machines on your way out the door! If you forgot to get souvenirs from Vegas, they also have you covered !! read more

After having our car towed to the dealership they informed us that is was contaminated gas. Worst Gas Station! Calvin Foley would not admit the malfunctioning nature of the pumps. In a ten gallon tank Roth ten ticks on the meter, a 15 dollar prepaid amount would fill up a tank about 3 gallons or so. My needle, dead center at the fifth tick of ten on my gas meter, didn't move at all after I was done filling and the station refused to assist in anyway. read more

This station is ripping everyone off because you think you're getting Nevada gas before entering California. Wrong. On May 23rd their 85 octane was $4.31 per gallon. You can get it around Vegas for at least $1.10 less. What made it worse was the windshield washing bucket only had water, no soap to help remove bugs. Do not come here on a Sunday afternoon! You will spend 1.5 + hours before getting to a pump, and then 3+ hours to get back on freeway.

This place royally screws the traveler, typically from California. On Saturday we drove through Death Valley and decided to stay in Primm. Earlier that day I bought gas in Beatty, Nevada, which is in the middle of nowhere for $2.99 per gallon. This was even for supreme unleaded as their other two choices were not working. That evening I bought gas in Primm at the Chevron at Primm Valley Resort. They had a lot of gas pumps but I found a lot of people park at the pump then go inside to buy crap leaving their car blocking the pump. This is not the fault of the business but irritates me. Anyway the regular unleaded was $4.09 per gallon and Primm is thirty minutes out of Las Vegas, versus Beatty which is in the middle of nowhere. Kind of leaves you with the feeling that you are going to get screwed all ways by stopping at Primm. read more
