I got to admit I love how wide the gas station lanes are outside-this is the kind of gas station I want to frequent always. Walking inside I was really taken aback by the sheer size of the place..I guess I should've figured it out by just looking at the size of the building but yeah I was still surprised. Inside they have so much ready-to-eat food available-so much grab-and-go options but the thing that looked the most intriguing was the brisket wraps-next time I'm there,I will for sure be trying those brisket wraps. They have a pretty killer beer selection as well located in their stand-alone beer locker that keeps the beer ice cold. I can't quite put my finger on it but I just really liked the vibe in that gas station-the employees seemed happy and friendly and everything was super organized and clean. It's one of those rare gas stations where you don't feel like you're just stopping for gas--you actually want to go inside and look around. I can say with some certainty that this is my gas station of choice in the Rocklin area. It's a good one......Now to check out Buc-ee's.

The store is always clean, and somehow the bathrooms are too--which honestly feels like finding a unicorn at a gas station. They've got a ton of snacks, drinks, and grab-and-go food, so whether I need caffeine, a road trip snack, or an "I forgot to eat today" meal, they've got me covered. And I'll admit it... the burritos are actually pretty good. Way better than my expectations for gas station food. The rewards app is another reason I keep coming back. They always seem to have coupons, discounts, and Freebie Fridays are a nice little bonus. Who doesn't like free snacks? Overall, Maverik makes spending too much money on energy drinks and road trip snacks feel a little more justified. Clean store, good food, great rewards--hard to ask for much more from a gas station.

Shell Gas - Very clean store, great coffee, and hot breakfast food! Carwash was new and awesome!

It's always disappointing to see Yelp reviews that appear to be unfairly negative. It reflects…read morepoorly upon Yelp as a whole... chips away at our credibility... and validates comments such as those by Anthony Bourdain (directed at Elite Yelpers). When I rolled into this location, I noticed it had two 1-star reviews, resulting in a 1-star overall average. I braced for the worst. It didn't take me long to start scratching my head on this one. So, what do I expect a one-star gas station look like? At least a few pumps out-of-order... bathrooms out-of-order... convenience store a mess... Soup Nazi type clerk who smacks your hand with a spatula... wrinkled up two-week old hot dog on the rollers... that kind of thing. None of the above here... not even close. The pumps work fine, pricing is pretty reasonable compared to other stations in the area; store was large, clean and well stocked. I originally did not intend to go into the store until I saw the reviews. Once I saw them, I had to check things out. I bought drinks, I bought snacks... I bought a Johnsonville brat that was nice and juicy and put it in a fresh bun. I added some hot cheese from the cheese dispenser and that got away from me a bit and made a mess. The clerk came over and nicely suggested that I dispense in a cup (from the stack next the the machine) rather than try to dispense directly onto the dog next time. Made sense to me. He was plenty polite and cleaned up the mess I made without any hint of an attitude. So hopefully I've covered the bases here. The reviewer talking about gas prices clearly got confused on her own about the sign, which says "with WASH" not "with cash" as she claims... and green prices at every gas station I've ever been to are for DIESEL FUEL (which is also shown on the sign).

But of course, things couldn't go smoothly for me. As if my recent knee surgery, which left me with a torn ACL, MCL, meniscus, two fractures, and a bruised femur, wasn't enough, I had to deal with a series of infuriating events. First, the pump wouldn't turn on, so I hobbled back to the gas station, only to be met with a half-hearted apology from Lisa, the so-called manager. She assured me that the pump should be working now, so I painfully made my way back to my car, only to find out that nothing had changed. What a surprise! Annoyed and in pain, I made my way back to Lisa, who finally decided to accompany me to ensure I knew how to pump gas. But guess what? The pump was still out of order! How incompetent can one person be? I had to limp back to the gas station for the umpteenth time to express my frustration, and that's when Lisa dropped the bombshell. She nonchalantly informed me that she couldn't transfer the money over, leaving me puzzled and seething with anger. What on earth does corporate have to do with giving me the gas I paid for or refunding my money? I couldn't believe the audacity! She had the nerve to tell me to call in on Monday, as if that would magically fix everything. The whole experience left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. All I wanted was some gas and a bit of relief after my surgery, but instead, I got a runaround and a bunch of excuses. It's safe to say that this gas station and their so-called manager have lost a customer for good. Reading other comments sound about right shit show of a gas station.

I recently went in to purchase (wing and a prayer) lottery tickets like I occasionally do. Since they are a Placer County business and it is my regular place, I always go there so that when I win (someday) the business will benefit as well! It had been a long week and a long work day and I was not paying my usual, careful, OCD self attention. I purchased, left money and walked out. I was in my car getting ready to leave when the manager, Charity, came out and approached me. Jacob (who was very nice) was assisting me inside and Charity had come over to assist him. When I left I walked out without change (a decent amount). Together Charity (along with Jacob) ensured I got that sorted before I left. I want to commend both Charity & Jacob who are already friendly, polite and helpful. They are also, clearly, honest as the day is long. This was one of those moments in life which helped reinforce the goodness of people. President Ronald Reagan said, "I know in my heart that man is good, and that what is right will always eventually triumph, and there is purpose and worth to each and every life." Thank you, Charity & Jacob for the embodiment of this quote. Be blessed!

Namm sayinn.. Snacks wise is subpar, but I prefer Costco Snacks, it is more flavorable and easy on the pocket. Quite to my surprise, they also sell dairy (milk/yogurt). Like, who buys milk or yogurt at a gas station? LOL! Other than that, good gas, but is somewhat expensive compared to Costco Gas, but the quality of gas is easy on the car compared to other cheaper gas stations. My engine will thank me in the long run, yo. Other than that, they also sell Lotto Tickets and Scratchers, and the jackpot for lottery tickets for Mega Millions, Super Lotto, and Powerball lottery are updated quite often after each loss when no winner has won the jackpots for each category yet--Like me! Other than that, best place to go to get your lottery tickets. And GOOD LUCK California Residence. May the odds be always in your favor! Side note: Restrooms are a hit or miss on cleanliness and bad odor is why I knocked down 2 stars. Sighhhhh!

I have been living in this part of Roseville since we moved from the South Bay in 2001 and we finally have a grocery store nearby. Up to this point our closest grocery store was Raley's on Woodcreek Oaks. I am excited over this new Safeway location (just across CVS)... it is convenient for quick grocery shopping. They just opened a month ago in March 2025 and it seems to be always busy when I pass by on Pleasant Grove... my first time shopping inside was for their $5 Friday deals. They ran out quickly of the item I wanted and waited 15 mins for a fresh batch of fried chicken. Next time I'll stop by at another less busy Safeway for these deals (I have two other locations to choose from coming home from work). There are plenty friendly workers to assist. Next to an in-house Starbucks kiosk is a seating area. The bathrooms are also located here. This Safeway has a connecting fuel station. Review #3750
