Growing up in California you have to pump your own gas so it was just really weird. When i pulled up to the gas station i was just chilling in my car and rolled down my window. I wasn't sure what to say so i just told him i wanted regular and i gave him my credit card. That worked out perfectly and then he asked me if i wanted him to wash my windshield. I know it is part of his job, but i felt bad so i told him that i could do it myself and i did. haha. The guy topped it off for me and we were back on our way. Having people pump your gas is good, it creates more jobs.

The lines were not too long and I got in. I guess they have attendants to fill you tank here on Oregon or I think you have the choice to fill your own. They're scared you'll blow up the place, gosh I wonder how many gas stations exploded cause someone was pumping they're own gas? I get to the guy and ask can you clean the windshield too? NOPE! so much for full service! This gas hog was almost empty so I sat for awhile while it filled. Used my Costco Citi card to get back 5% back at least. Gas was cheaper here than any other place especially like a Chevron. I do like that the hoses extend to either side of the vehicle, so it doesn't matter which side you pull up on.

Another hot day and I was driving back from Northern CA. I got off I-5 at South Medford exit for…read moregas. I was starting to pump my gas at the Shell station and the attendant came over and took over for me. Not too surprising for Oregon, but then he reached into an ice bucket by the pump and handed me an ic cold bottle of water and a card for a free coffee or fountain drink. He also cleaned our windshield. Haven't had that kind of service in quite awhile. Highly recommend!

The attendants are friendly and efficient at the gas pumps. Before I could even get out of the car, the gentleman was at my window to assist. Good thing cause I would have forgotten again that it is against the law to pump your own gas in Oregon. They get real busy being so close to the interstate. Prices look to be the lowest in the area. Store is fine. Service is good. All reasons to return when driving in this part of the country.

The drying machine here does not dry your clothing after one full hour of drying on high heat. It…read morecharged the other guy drying his clothing three times for one dry load (which probably won't even dry his clothes). All the truck stops I've been to which Pilot runs has this issue. Making drivers pay several times to dry their clothing is not okay. Also there is no seating in the laundry room (unlike most truck stops) so you have to stand the entire time. There are only two washing machines so if another driver is cleaning their clothing and you walk up then you're likely going to have to wait for them to get done. I had a bad laundry day here and now I have less time to sleep before driving my semi truck hundreds of miles. Not a great experience and could for sure be improved if they bothered to pay attention to their laundry room.
