Do NOT waste your money on the "car wash" at this Chevron! Oh, it sprays water and blows it off, but does nothing to remove dirt. AWFUL!!

Late afternoon with no other customer. The only guy in the gas station helped me resolved my credit card issue with great patience and very good manner. We both have lots of white hair and Daniel clearly showed me the work ethics of the older generation. I will remember this location when I pass by Grant Pass. read more

I passed through here at about 3am one morning and stopped because it was the first coffee place I could find. The homelessness on the side of the business wasn't great. But inside the big guy who was running the store was really helpful. First the tattoo guy who came out to pump my gas apologized 100x for leaving me waiting at which I didn't wait really that long. He kept saying he was working in the freezer. Totally fine. The guy inside was so helpful and offered me to have some of the old coffee for free. He said they don't typically make the coffee until 3am. When I pointed out it was that he had no issue making a quick pot. Then there weren't any lids. He looked everywhere for them and eventually found a few in the back cupboard. But he said for making me wait so long for all this he comped my coffee. A+ customer service from both guys. read more

Chevron - Gas Stations Near Me - Grants Pass, Oregon

I was passing through Grants Pass today... stopped for lunch on a long drive from Washington. My check oil light had come on and so I pulled into Chevron to buy some before getting back on the road. I asked a gentleman working there if I could buy some oil. I said, "5W-30" I think. He said, "It's really important to put the right oil in. It will be on the cap... want me to come look?" I said, "Sure" and we walked over and popped the hood. He explained, from the sticker inside, that my car takes only full synthetic oil and the recommendation by Mercedes is Mobil1. He gave me directions to get to Auto Zone and then how to get back to the freeway. He was so kind and generous with his time. There was nothing in it for him. He's just a nice human being and I really appreciated it. I will be much more inclined to get my gas at Chevron because of him. So thank you again to the grey-haired gentleman working Sat 5/20 at about 12:30 pm. Your kindness did not go unnoticed. read more

So I got there and it was extremely busy..with that said, the guy working, James, was fantastic. I don't know if he was the manager but he should be!!!!!!! He was quick and friendly and seemed to be running the show...making sure he checked in with everyone and making sure everyone was happy. First class station! I'd just had a bad experience at the nearby Shell, where an employee refused to wear a mask at my window (I'm 72 and Covid-careful). This is my first time driving through Oregon. You can imagine my surprise when a guy comes out of the gas station to pump my gas! I can't recall the last time I saw a full service station in CA. Maybe when I was a kid? Question: So...why do I need full service when I have to get out of my car to swipe my credit card? I can just as easily pump my gas! The gentleman was extremely kind. After I paid, he started filling up the car. He also washed our windshield and did a fantastic job! Seriously, it was spotless. He then pointed me in the right direction for filling up my water bottle. Overall, a great experience for someone who isn't accustomed to having someone else fill up the car's tank. read more

Went in to get gas filled this morning. The price was 27.00 I was going on a road trip across Oregon. They charged an extra $126.00 to my credit card without telling me, and will return it to me this night. Now I am stuck half way through my road trip with no money to pay for gas. Wells Fargo said other companies only hold $1, but Chevron holds the $126.00. This leaves me with no money for food gas or lodgings. If you are going on a road trip stay away from Chevron like the plague, as I will remember to do from now on. read more
