I stopped by there earlier today with my wife and daughter to use the bathroom. We already expected…read morethat the bathroom was going to be filthy and a dump like most gas station bathrooms are. To our "TOTAL SURPRISE", this bathroom was way cleaner than any Starbucks bathroom (Starbucks prides themselves on how clean their bathrooms are every single time). The bathroom was not only clean, but it smelled really clean and fresh. According to Ali (the owner), he prides himself in keeping the bathroom clean for his customers! Way to go Ali! We appreciate you very much, thank you for doing this. I know a lot of people don't think much of the service or staff that work at gas stations, but I do! They are people too and they too work for a living just as much as I/we do. You are no different than any other service provider out there. You provide a service that is in need to run our society and economy. Without you, where would we go, or how would we operate? We came from Seaside, OR over an hour away and I was running low on fuel fast. I was so scared that I was going to run out of fuel and I would be stuck in the middle of the road with my family. And then we saw your gas station. You were a God sent to us! You were a blessing to us! Thank you for being there at the right place at the right time! I know that it was for sale last year and I'm not sure if they have changed hands or not but if the fact that the big "Hungry Whale" sign is falling apart is any sign of the quality of the new ownership or lack of pride or disinterest in whom ever long term owners are then what is? The gas pump wouldn't work with a debit/credit card and once I entered the building itself I felt is was so sketchy looking that I decided to forgo buying gas here and drive down the street to the Shell station.
