We ran over a screw in Ocean Shores unfortunately the local shop was closed. We then made it over to Les Schwab for service. We were very pleased when Gabe welcomed us and was very efficient and let us into the office. There we had a much-needed cup of coffee and some popcorn. Shortly thereafter, Gabe returned to us with our vehicle, ready to go. Price was excellent and service was excellent. read more

This Les Schwab on Simpson Ave, is one the most corrupt I have ever been to. They said several things needed to be changed which was total BS. Like my rotors which were just replaced. Best tire place around ! Out of all the places I've been I have to say this place was amazing ! The staff is so friendly and overly accommodating! A great day at the beach turned into an un coextensive flat tire ! I put the donut in and called two other places before I had called Les Schwab. None of the places were willing to stay over there shift for 5 minutes to help my car full of children (5 kids and my mother). Finally I called les Schwab! They were able to rotate my tires and give me two loaner tires until our new tires came in ! The were so nice the whole time ... even with our sand covered children having to wait in the waiting area and my green year old occasionally running around . It only took 2 days for the new tires to arrive and the had them on within the hour ! We purchased the 70,000 mile warranty tires and you also get free rotation during warranty . Will definitely be coming back. read more

Honest folks! We were having a shimmy problem while we were traveling. CV axles? Struts? Ball joints?Linda set us up for first appt to allow for getting parts and repairing. We were greeted at our car before we could even get out and offered to go to an immaculate waiting room. Car checked out fine for what we brought it in for and Mike assured us it was not going to leave us stranded but he also discovered a wheel that was bent on the inside that would be causing the shimmy problem. Out in less than 2 hours and spent $100 instead of an expected $1000. First class operation. read more

Poor customer service, communication and time management = 0 STARS I made an appointment for Noon to have a rotor repaired/replaced and my suspension, shocks and struts checked. The morning of my appointment, I called the Simpson Les Schwab to let them know I would be there but 15 minutes late. When I arrived, there was barely any staff. No one came to greet me, so I walked into the store. The clerk at the counter spoke to the mechanic to see if he could fit me in as they were understaffed. She said that he said he was beginning work on my vehicle at that moment, yet that it would take longer than an hour. I had no problems with waiting for 2 hours, and sat down. At 2:30pm, I asked about the status of my car. A new clerk told me the mechanic was just beginning work on my car at that moment. Then at 3pm, the clerk from earlier told me that they were not going to get to my car at all at that day. She apologized, yet offered no remedy, not even another appointment. I am so frustrated because I counted 3 other customers with appointments who walked in during my 3 hour stay at the store, and they had their car repairs completed. While these customers were taken care of, I wasted 3 hours breathing in the off-gases of rubber tires. The clerk should have followed up with the mechanic within an hour of my appointment for a status check on my car. And the other clerk should have also checked on the customers (like me) when they began their shift. The clerks didn't even noticed that other customers were done and I was STILL sitting there. Lack of customer service, poor communication and horrid service management. This experience was definitely a lesson in what NOT to do as a business. I will be looking elsewhere for car repairs and will make sure to tell my friends and family to avoid the Simpson Les Schwab store lest they lose 3 hours of their life just sitting there like a moron being ignored by the representatives. read more

I had to leave the Aberdeen store due to the harassive homeless people in and around that store, coming inside and bothering paying customers. I decided to leave, since the employees are powerless in asking non paying customers to leave . An employee set me up at the Hoquiam store right away. When I arrived at the Hoquiam store, they already had all of my information and immediately started to work on my tire problem. Very nice and responsive. I go in because one of my front tires is slow leaking they tell me tires is no good but they don't have any in stock but the elma store 15 miles away does and they will get it next day. I say ok. I wait a week and hear nothing I call them girl has no clue what I'm talking about comes back on after 5 minutes and says we are looking into it, puts me back on hold for 5 minutes, comes back on and tells me they got broken into and my tires were stolen. She then tells me we will get you more tires 4 days later still no call. I send an email to their corporate office explaining what happened and a week later nothing. About a month ago, I had a slow leak in my right rear tire. As well as a clicking in the front left. The crew said there were 2 screws in the right rear but nothing wrong with front. 4 days later, the front went completely flat and I had to buy a new tire. Yesterday, a month later, the right rear was completely flat. I will NOT return to this store. I'm gonna visit the Hoquiam store and buy another new tire (all the tires on my car are about a year old purchased from the aberdeen store). I rolled through town on my way home after staying a couple days at the beach. Just as every time I've gone to the beach, I drove on the sand (like everyone else does). This time I got stuck in the soft stuff and had to be pulled out by the local tow truck. No biggie, but embarrassing. On my way from Ocean Shores, Tues 6/10/14, my car was vibrating really bad at 50 mph. I stopped here and they said "no problem" they'd find the problem. I was here less than an hour and (I wish I would have gotten the techs name!) he came into the lobby to tell me "Sand and cars don't mix". I had excessive sand build up (ya think?) and my car would be ready shortly. They blew all the sand out of the wheel wells, rotated my tires, and didn't charge me one dime! I came in for a brake check because I wasn't to confident in aberdeen Honda. They have such amazing customer service. Not only did they explain what was happening/wrong with my car they showed me and I understood even thought they used car words I've never heard before. I got my front brakes replaced that came with a three year warranty. I also signed up for an account so I wouldn't have to pay an arm and a leg and the price is very reasonable! We stopped in for an air pressure check at Les Schwab when our tire pressure warning light came on en route to Ocean Shores. Even though it was Saturday afternoon, the service was excellent, prompt and rendered by a smiling technician named Derek. He discovered that the tire pressure was low in all four tires, remedied the situation, and even helped us to reset the warning light: something we didn't know how to do since the car was new to us. i dropped my car off at 10:30 am on a wednesday. they said they didnt have the tires but could get them that same day. nobody worked on my car at all that day, nor did anyone call me to tell me that they havent got to it and itll be there overnight. the next day i went in right when they opened and complained. i called multiple times to check on my car on thursday because nobody was updating me. i hated being a pest but its my cery first car and i care a lot about it. it then took another full day to get my car back. that is a whole three days they had my car. i got it back today( friday) at 11:00 am. fantastic work done on my car, just bad customer service and time management. read more

It was two days before a trip to Leavenworth (Christmas vacation) and I realized I seriously needed snow tires to cross the pass. It quickly became apparent I had waited too long to get the tires as they were completely out of stock in my size and two days minimum I was told to get resupplied. I was seriously worried as my current tires were very worn and I might have to cancel my trip. Caveat emptor - went in for wheel balance as I had a small vibration at freeway speed. Tires has about 1000 miles on them. Local Les Schwab store indicated tires could not be balanced and needed to be replaced, no other option. Got a second opinion from another local tire center, tires were not properly inflated, and also out of balance. After balance, vibration is gone, and all is well. Would always recommend a second opinion. Found it hard to believe that new tires needed to replaced after only 1000 miles and could not be balanced. Glad I went someplace else. read more

While on a business trip I had a tire with an air leak that needed to be fixed before I could travel to my early morning meeting in Seattle. I was despite and arrived at Les Schwab in Aberdeen at 6:45am in hope that someone might come in early or at least I would be first in line when they opened at 8:00am. To my surprise there were two folks working at the desk, obviously doing paperwork. They kindly got my information and offered coffee and a place to wait in their waiting room until they actually opened. One of the gentleman overheard that I was teaching a workshop in Seattle and was going to be horribly late. He stepped forward and asked for my car keys and quickly repaired the tire that had a nail in it. Due to his kindness I was was able to make at least part of the lecture! The service I experienced today was horrible. I went in for a tire rotation and mount/dismount and they clearly ruined two of my wheels with their mounting machine. When I attempted to speak with the manager about this he was rude, disrespectful and just kept saying their machine would never do any damage. I will never do business with Les Schwab nor will I recommend them to anyone. read more

We bought rims for my husband truck at this store three years ago...for about $1200 -- not including the tires. We were told to take them off when the weather started to turn becuase the de-icer would cause the wheels to "pit"...and my husband had them taken off the first sign of frost on the ground and stored them in our garage during the winter. When he pulled them out that first spring to put them back on they had "pitted" over the winter while not even being used. He took them back and after some fuss Les Scwab had them "warrantied" and he got a different set (which of course cost more $$$)... same routine- take them off and pull them back out and there is the "pitting"!!! He goes back and they tell him - sorry the manufacturer is out of business- you're an owner. Same routine through winter and spring - this year the wheels have pitted throughout and the decorative pieces just popped off while sitting over the winter. He takes them back to have them mounted and an employee says OMG... nothing we can do. My husband talks to the manager who says- -ok, we will sell you a new set at cost. I pitch a fit over spending this much money on wheels that have been used for a total of NINE MONTHS!! My husband orders the new wheels- as they are being mounted two of his tires are damaged-- he is told- oh we'll make sure and get some of your tires in stock so that when you have to buy the new ones we will have them here. Then they have him sign his receipt- he says-- where is my warranty?? They say- sorry no warranty.. WTF??? Well, then where's my old rims? The manager says- I'm keeping them. WHAT the hell??? They were completely paid for & we paid for and we paid their cost for the new tires!! I told my husband to call the police because it was essentially theft- he did not agree to give them his wheels On another note-- a couple of weeks ago we took our daughters Explorer in to have some brake work done... the next day she hits the brakes and glides through an intersection becuase they didn't tighten the bleeder screw! What a bunch of crappy work they have done... sooooo done!!! read more

I don't normally post negative stuff or overly personal, but I think it's worth warning people about. Don't buy your tires at Aberdeen's Les Schwab, if you think you might have to arrange for lower monthly payments. They use tactics to threaten, scare, put you down, belittle, and then dishonor the agreement you had made. I requested to have our verbal agreement written down, and they denied it. Apparently, they also plan to refuse my payment this month, because it's not the full amount. I asked if I could come into the office and meet with him so he could help me understand what Don was yelling over the phone. I felt like I was trying to calm him down - how weird is that? He doesn't need to call me an idiot. It's as if he's taking this personally, but he could be saying those things to me because he thinks it'll get good results. I think it might actually be what he is told he must do when people can't pay the full amount. Anyways, Don has decided to not accept the money I can pay this month and to come take the tires off my car. I believe he has the legal right to do that, and I understand completely. However, when I'm being kind and polite (I'm a preschool teacher, I'm used to being calm with children who throw tantrums), I expect an adult to treat me with courtesy too. read more
