I spent more for gas near Grass Valley just yesterday. The staff there have always been polite and reasonably prompt with their service. They have good samosas -- best in town -- and good fried potatoes. Prices are good. I've called to place a food order over the phone when I have a few casual guests for a quick lunch. The food was hot and ready on time. They were very courteous over the phone and there was no confusion over the order. I'm okay with the place and with the owners/staff.

Didn't use the pumps, came for the automated car wash for the car. Someone told me that to remove the ash due to the fires you need to go brushless. Makes sense. I drove all over creation to find a brushless car wash that was in operation. Reading another review, this location has the most up time (rarely out of service). Go inside and pay. Much easier. Then when at the computer screen entering your code, skip the add on services. If you want brushless, select the mid-level service "Delux Clean" currently $10. They also give you a frequent card (no extra cost). After 4 or 5 paid washes, you get one free. And it's usable at their other locations preprinted on the back. And you'll need to go inside to get the card punches and redeem the free wash. Liked the timer telling me how much time was left on wash and dry. Then I could move at a pace I liked for washing and drying. Bring a chamois or towel and tuck into a shaded space in nearby parking lot to finish off drying and wipe down any areas missed. Such as behind gas cover, trunk, doors, etc. There was just enough moisture on the car and my faux chamois wiped down the missed dirt behind my wind jammer on the roof. Car wash does a very good job for being an automatic system. Only 2 cars ahead of me and it went fairly quickly. Price was good. If I lived in the area I'd be a regular for the car wash.

Gas is always expensive here but it was cheaper than most of Grass Valley! 5.39 a gallon for premium March 11th. I always stop here and get an iced coffee and maybe a sandwich or a kind bar. They also have hot food. The burritos in the morning go quickly! Bathrooms are relatively clean. There is a car wash and ATM. Boating nearby so this is a popular place to get ice and beer as well! By the way, they did alittle bit of remodeling and added a couple of tables and chairs inside.
