This is a nice visitor center! It is CROWDED but there's a lot of turnover. Plenty of bathrooms,…read morereasonably clean (for a national park). They do have a sizable parking lot but that lot gets full FAST so if you want to park there you have to come early (recommended to come at or before 7am). The shuttle picks up here of course and I came around 6:20am; I was in the line by 6:45 and it was already wrapping around several times at the platform but the buses are big and particularly in the morning a bunch of shuttles come minutes apart so I actually didn't wait more than 15 mins or so to board one (I was on shuttle #3 of the morning). The organization is impressive, it's good they do it this way because the canyon would absolutely be loaded with cars otherwise!

The temperatures were literally 40° cooler in the mountains. I had an opportunity to get a permit to go up to Angels Landing. The hike is a rigorous hike because it's straight up uphill, but it's a beautiful walk. Highly recommend. The shuttles travel frequently and we were lucky enough to not hit the crowds. I've recommend getting the national Park pass so that you can use it on all national parks. It's only $10 more to get the universal pass than it is for entrance into just one part one time.

All could have been avoided if she utilized active listening skills and allowing me to advocate. Please learn going forward: better communication and conflict resolution skills. Own that things could have been handled better; is a start. REVIEW: Very rude owners. Lacks good communication skills. Not neurodivergent friendly. This is not a safe place. I tried to communicate to the owner that my partner was autistic and was experiencing a melt down. She decided to have a power play and way worsened the situation from a lack of empathy and understanding. I went back to have a mature conversation and she was too prideful and egotistical. She said she was a therapist, she violated her oath and should be reported. She should never treat anyone this way and make the excuse that it's okay. Very disappointing. ** and now the owner is a liar. No vulgar or offensive language was used to any degree. I touched her arm in response to get her to calm down. Her aggression made it worse. She instantly threatened the police. Her communication skills are not there. She can't even own how she behaved. Me trying to get her to stop by gently touching her arm was for all involved safety. Are you really a therapist? You put people in danger when you are ignorant and when you distort the truth to protect your ego. For public safety: 1-Never crowd a person who is experiencing autistic meltdown, it makes it worse. She kept getting too close to him. I was touching her to let her know that she immediately needed to stop. I am his advocate and she refused to listen. Just kept getting closer. 2-DO NOT MAKE THREATS. It makes it worse! She chose not to listen and threatened to call police. If she had let me de-escalate she wouldn't have to defend her poorly made decisions but she was in a power play and refuses to take accountability. She matched his meltdown and made it worse. The public must hold space for disabilities. She violated his rights and tries to cover her tracks. DO BETTER! Own your shit!!! Food: 1/5 Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 1/5
