The food wasn't tourist trash, but not magnificent, either. The fries were crispy and wonderful, the duck breast was done decently, the salad a bit overdressed. The server didn't seem to understand wine pairings when I asked for a recommendation, but not a big issue.
The vibe was off this Thursday afternoon. I was seated outside and a lot of tourists were walking around, giving it a bustling energy, but not in a good way.
The waitstaff was clearly understaffed so getting a menu, ordering, paying, was all slow.
Moreover, they moved with a frenetic quality that made me anxious. They were courteous and lovely, though, when they finally found time to interact with me or other patrons around me.
Bathrooms: Just one tiny one in the back. Very clean and nice. There was always a long line, alas.
