Their promise was kept, yes. BUT. They hung my strapless bridesmaid's dress on a PANTS hanger. A PANTS HANGER. As in the hanger that has those little clippy things that cinch the top of the fabric. I expect a dry cleaner to be the ONE PLACE that might know what the ribbons inside the dress are for. FOR HANGING. No? So they steamed it, yes, but left nice little crimp marks at the top of the dress from the pants hanger, which of course I didn't notice until the day of the wedding when I was getting dressed. Here's the fun part. My fiancé gets back from picking up my dress (he's so lovely) and I get a voicemail on my phone from some frantic-sounding teenager stating that whoever paid for my dress needs to come back because they didn't actually charge him, they refunded him. They basically paid us to steam my dress (and put it on the wrong hanger). If I were a worse person, I would have said, "too bad, so sad," and moved on with my life. Upon returning it to the dry cleaner, the woman at the counter claimed that they had not cleaned it because there was no tag and no mark in the stitching to show they had cleaned it. Well, I asked her (after spending several minutes going back and forth) to clean and remove the lumps they created. Sadly, when I returned to pick it up, it was in the same condition win which I had left it. I told the woman this dry cleaner is the only one I have used since I moved to the area in 2016. Well, she informed me the owner said they would not clean it again. Again?! It was never cleaned! Well, that is the last time any items will be dropped off for cleaning or altering at this company. I am out of a comforter without any compensation. I recommend that you stay away from this company because it does not use "the customer is always right" mantra. Let's hit them where it hurts-how much would it have cost them (compared to annual revenue) to replace my comforter they messed up? Not much. Oh well. You live and you learn. It looks like it could use a little TLC inside - it's dim and stark, and the "room" off to the side for trying on clothing for tailoring is more like a box with a sliding door. However, the woman who helped measure me and pinned my dress knew her stuff. She was very thorough and kept rechecking to make sure I had enough space. She told me my dress would be ready to pick up in one week. The price for my alteration was a little more than I anticipated ($18), but the work done was flawless. It looked like that's how it would have appeared straight off the rack and fit perfectly!
