I called for an appt & asked the woman who answered the phone, who was their best hairstylist. She referred me to a gal & booked my appt. My hair was down to my rear & wanted it cut to shoulder length, with layers throughout. It had been quite a while since I had gotten my hair cut, so I was pretty nervous! I can't remember the woman's name who cut my hair, but she was an older woman who's station was in the center of the shop, right by the sinks. She told me she had been cutting hair for years & years, so I was a little more relaxed. After she had washed my hair, she proceeded to cut. When she was almost done, I could see that there weren't really any layers, just bangs & cut to my shoulders. I told her I wanted layers throughout & she said there was! I told her there wasn't, that the hair at the top of my head was down past my chin, again, she argued the point! Ok All I wanted was the $21.00 haircut, with a wash. I knew my hair wasn't cut to the way I had asked her & knew it wasn't going to be, so I just wanted to get out of there & get home to blow dry it to see how it looked. She then proceeded to say that she wanted to blow dry & flat iron it, so she could see the finished product. Says she likes to do this with all her clients. I said ok. When she was done, I said to her, see, there's no layers! Again she argued with me. lol The proof was right there staring back at me in the mirror! I just wanted to get the heck out of there! When she rang me up at the till, she said it would be $41.00. I said, how much? I told her I was here to get the $21.00 cut. She then said, well, you had a blow dry and the flat iron service on top of it. lol I told her that she was the one who wanted to give me those services so she could see her finished product. She said, well that's what you owe! I paid & got the hell out of there! When I got home, I washed my hair & blow dried it again. I have to tell you, I have NEVER IN MY LIFE gotten a more uneven hair cut!! She took her course in the 70's but I don't believe she's worked since!! Word of mouth is the best form of advertising & I have & will continue to do all of her advertising for free, to everyone who will listen! If this is their BEST hairstylist, I'd hate to have my hair done by anyone else there! DO NOT GO HERE PEOPLE, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

I called around 6pm, and booked for 6:30pm today. I was running a bit late so I called to let her know. She said no problem, thank you. Making an appointment is so easy, since she always answers the phone by the third ring. When I arrived at the salon, she greeted me warmly with a smile and she was ready to begin her services on my hair. She was very informative. Explained in full what she was going to do step by step. Answered all of my questions happily and is really great to talk with. She is very kind and has fantastic manners. My hair has never looked better. She got my entire long(26") head of hair to a beautiful blue black, jet black. (From another hair stylists poor job of blotchy black, brown-black.) She dyed my eyebrows jet black with a special dye. There was absolutely no mess around my forehead, ears, nape of neck, or eyebrows. I asked for a deep conditioning treatment she applied that and massaged it into my head/hair. I always opt for air dry because my hair drys beautifully without any heat. She sprayed my hair with leave in conditioner and gave me a brand new black detangling brush, that she took out of the package to detangle my hair with. Near the beginning she had asked me if I like black. I said yup. I Wasn't sure if she was referring to my black hair or my nails that had just been shellaced black. But I think it was actually for the brush, she is very thoughtful. So for all of my services it cost me $118. $85 for full long hair color $25 for leave in treatment $6 for dying eyebrows + tip Her services are absolutely fantastic, and I will 150% be going back.
