My husband found this restaurant before our trip and wanted to include this stop in our itinerary. I made a reservation weeks before we traveled. Someone from the restaurant called to confirm our reservation the day of the visit. Traffic caused us to be late for our reservation but the owners/managers were so great and welcoming. They got us a cozy table away from the door and we were happy to order a bottle of rosé while deciding on food. The menu is extensive. It was so hard to choose! We each ended up with a pizza. Wow, what a fantastic little Italian gem! LOCATION: This place is very close by the Eiffel Tower and a very busy spot so resos are strongly recommended or you may not get a table. AMBIANCE: Very chic, modern and minimalistic decor. The manager could not find our reservation but was incredibly accommodating and we did have to squeeze tightly with a baby but he made it work! SERVICE: Manager was wonderful and we had two servers assisting us: the girl from Portugal was amazing, warm, and friendly, the other girl not so much and bordered on rude. She did not speak or respond to us and had constantly had a miserable look on her face like we were annoying her. We only saw her smile when we were leaving and she commented it's tough with a baby and I don't know if she meant it or she was just happy we were done, lol. FOOD: Excellent! We started off with three appetizers: one of shaved veal (Vitello tonnato), one grilled artichokes (giuida), and one salad with grilled veggies. All three were absolutely delicious. We found this place when searching for somewhere to eat while walking around by the Eiffel Tower. This place ended up being amazing! I ordered the charcuterie board which was ridiculously good! Words can't describe how good it tasted! My son absolutely loved his margherita pizza! If we had more time, we would've gone back again! The waiter was very nice and provided recommendations. It was great to find a wonderful Italian cafe in Paris. This is a lovely place, small but quaint. First of all I loved the wooden barrel tables out front. It was great that you could see a variety of amazing sandwiches through the front window. We sat inside at a table for four. Our service was excellent and the staff super friendly. We had the Parma focaccia sandwich that was warmed and yummy. I loved that it was served on a cutting board with a salad of arugula and tomatoes. We also had croissants and chocolate pastries. Food and Service was amazing. We showed up without a reservation and they were nice enough to accommodate our group of 4. And while we waited to have our table cleared they brought out glasses of champagne for us. Our table was outside on a chilly night and they provided us with blankets. This restaurant was a gem when it came to the food offered. The staff was friendly and professional. You will not be seated inside without a reservation because they tend to be very busy so plan ahead! It was a very cold day when we visited and we had to sit outside ... no one's fault, but our own. If I could suggest something it would definitely be getting some of those hanging heaters for the customers that have to sit outside during the cold months. On a positive note, they did offer warm blankets for each person and they were already laid on each chair, chairs were comfortable. We ordered bruschetta with olives and pesto which we all enjoyed. Since it was freezing we decided on ordering warm beverages, cappuccinos. We ordered a risotto with a very tender piece of beef and a pizza that had fresh tomatoes, cooked ham, olives and ricotta cheese with arugula. It was delicious! My boys ordered fettuccine in red sauce and mushrooms, and pappardelle bolognese and they gave us a taste , yummmm! The great thing is that we saw many locals frequent this place. The reason we knew they were locals is because the waiters knew them by name so they must visit often. One of my favorite meals in Paris! I know that's a little strange, because this is Italian food, but it was an absolutely wonderful experience for several reasons. The location is terrific, near the Eiffel Tower, and a great place to get dinner if you're going to see the Eiffel Tower, or go on a cruise on the Seine, etc. The pasta was delicious, the pizza was delicious, the bread was so good, our cocktails were fantastic, and the desserts were out of this world! The bread was made from pizza dough on-site and was really delicious. We started with a small margarita pizza and artichoke appetizer. I'm going to review them on the One-Bite app - the pizza was soggy but the ingredients were very delicious and fresh. I think in Paris - generally stick with French food - but this was a nice spot one street over from the Eiffel Tower. For entrees we had the Chicken Milanese and the parpadelle bolognese. They were both just ok - not very Italian tasting...the sauce was very French and I was hungry and ate it. We met other Americans here - Rob from Texas and his wife. I made reservations about a month in advance, but do to the high demand of this restaurant, even in the off season, we were asked to come later, and still waited 30 mins for a table (1h from original rsvp time). Others that were less persistent waited well over an hour past their reservation time. They did provide free Prosecco due to the delay which was appreciated. The carbonara was great. No cream sauce, very authentic. Al dente noodles. The pizza was ok. Looked phenomenal, but was soggy in the center. All pizzas in France seem to come uncut, so you struggle to cut a semi-cooked, soft pizza with a steak knife. The website also boasts views of the Eiffel Tower. Which is not true. There is no table or seat anywhere that has a view of the tower. However, good food is clearly the drawing point for many locals of Italian heritage, who opted to wait in line and forgo the Italian spot next door that was completely open. read more

A non-touristy Italian restaurant very convenient to the Eiffel Tower. Very small, very close seating, and service can be very relaxed but the food is lovely. The complimentary bread is outstanding. The kitchen has a great idea of what to do with dough. The pizzas are not American-style (a very good thing). There are 3 different doughs, all authentic Italian styles, and varied interesting toppings. One pizza can easily serve 2 or 3-4 with a starter. We had a knock-out Gorgonzola risotto with asparagus and a pan-fried gnocchi with a Taleggio sauce, both very rich, both delicious. When we planned our trip to the Eiffel, we tried to set a reservation for Chez Pippo for 8. Initially, the rezzy was rejected, but after a sales associate at a luxury store helped us call the restaurant, we were able to score a 9:30 pm reservation. The restaurant mentioned the rezzy would be closer to 10 pm. We were all exhausted, hungry, and thirsty and relieved to be seated. Similar to most restaurants in Paris, it is very narrow in the restaurant, and it was kind of the staff to accommodate our large party in the back of the restaurant. Stars of the meal: soft bread, Caccio e pepe with goat cheese. One of the most unique takes on the dish I've had. La Suprema: Had the spicy sausage that was delicious. Gnocchi in cream sauce with crispy prosciutto Pasta Bolognese (Pappardelle). Dish we didn't care too much for is the pizza with ham. Tip: When they ask you if you would like water, unless you want to pay for water, you must clearly state that you want tap water. Distilled water is $6 a bottle and we ended up being charged for six bottles. When we mentioned it may have been helpful to inform us before we ordered it, they took off $4 from the bill lol. Tip: Make reservations in advance because this place is worth eating at! read more

What on earth? As a Parisian stuck in a touristic area to have dinner with my daughter I was hedging the risk. This totally exceeded expectation. Gosh this place is good, I ll cross town to come now. I left thinking that if only places like that exists when I was a child there. Ok, how good is it? - First, this place is honest in not trying to pretend it is either authentically Italian or "a place where the locals hang out". the ambiance is busy with English speaking crowd, and it embraces it, so English speaker you are welcome and come prepared for that (and, as expected, a certain price tag). Not the place to catchup the meal you missed in Venezia or to impress your partner with "off the beaten track" feeling, but except for that you are in good hands. - The waiters are surprisingly welcoming and nice (had no reservation but they arranged something, asked for things to take away, had my 6 year old being funny and they were nice). I could tell it was the same for other non local family and in fact it was really half Fench half foreigner (during non holliday), good sign. - The pizzas are superior to anything I have seen around except 1-2 places in Paris. Dont compare to Rome or Napoli but is that the point? the dough was especially well thought of (with different flour depending on ingredients). - The pasta were also, superior, absolutely a step above regular well made home cooking, and pleasing with good choices. - As a good test, the cheapest wine was decent and a perfect pairing to well done simple fare. - One of the specials (using raw fish and an interesting sauce) really stole the show and I brought one home. Now it is one of the nicest evening I had in Paris in a long time. If you ever hear a Parisian complaining about "all the things getting worst", well first bring them to another city (like New York or London) where it is truely getting worse :), then bring them here: you could not combine this quality with this friendliness at this price in 1990s or 2000s in Paris. read more

Found this gem on a whim after a cruise down the Seine River. This little joint is amazing! They were packed when we arrived and only had to wait 5-10 minutes. All eight people in our party raved over the food. We had everything ranging from pizza, to pasta, to veal. Service was amazing. They were very attentive. Valentino was great especially for our Non French speaking group. He was so patient and helpful with our selections. Definitely would recommend this place! read more

We stopped by here after visiting the Eiffel Tower. It was probably a five minute walk. It's a very tiny place,the high boys were super close together. However, our server was excellent. We did have a little bit of a language barrier but it could be due to, calling things by different names in America vs. Paris. For example, I asked for a lemon drop martini. That went totally wrong so he ended up suggesting something with Italian lemon soda and vodka. It turned out to be very tasty! For lunch I had a nice and light pasta dish. The portions are very different from USA standards but that is definitely a good thing. It was a nice meal and we enjoyed our time here. I'm a foodie from the NYC dining scene for over 25 years. Have traveled all over Europe and this was my third trip to Paris. This was my most memorable meal in Paris this trip. The service was certainly friendly and the restaurant charming. We had the beef carpaccio, Roman style pizza with zucchini and prosciutto, ribbon pasta bolognese, and vegetable pasta. Everything was excellent, fresh, the red sauce was tart, which offered great contrast to the meat. Pizza was just crazy good. I am so happy I found this place. I will certainly return and recommend it to all my friends and family. Bravo. read more
